Overall this is a great hotel and I would stay again, The room was spacious and cleaned daily, The location is Ok, just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and bars, The staff were very helpful in organising moped hire and boat transfers at reasonable prices. The pool was nice to relax at and had plenty of loungers.

The pool bar wasn’t open that much and drinks prices on the menu board kept changing throughout the time it was open which put us off ordering any. There is a cannabis shop next door to the lower rooms block which had an overpowering smell drift into the rooms when people were smoking.

The hotel was clean, the staff were absolutely amazing after something occurred on my first night and me and my boyfriend had to go to hospital, they were so calm regarding the circumstances and just wanted to make sure i was okay, the staff really couldn’t do enough for us they were so polite, accommodating and always go the extra mile, we will definitely be returning this year. Thankyou to all staff especially the guy behind the pool bar his name started with a T (sorry i can’t remember your name) and his wife, the biggest thankyou to you both, you guys deserve a huge pay rise🩷

The only thing that I would change is the beds are a little uncomfortable after 2 weeks

The Lamai Buri Resort is located very conveniently - it’s less than 5 mins walk from the main Lamai strip and less than 10 mins walk from the beach (all quicker still if you hop on your moped!). The sea-facing rooms on the third floor were beautiful. Overall, the hotel had a very tranquil vibe, the rooms were spacious and clean, the gym was well equipped and staff were friendly and helpful. The fridge in the room is handy for keeping water and another food/drinks you may want to bring in cold. Would happily stay here again!

The shower in our room didn’t get particularly hot, which was a shame but, also not something we asked about during our stay. Also would have appreciated a spare pillow, but again, didn’t ask for one so not the end of the world. There wasn’t actually anything that we didn’t like about the property.

We returned to Lamai this year and stayed in Lamai Buri again. The beautiful staff remembered us and the facilities were even better this year with the gym having opened. We love that the Buri is in a quieter part of Lamai, where we have a gorgeous view, but can walk just down the road to the busier part. We will always stay here when we come back to Lamai.

As the Buri is on a hill there are a lot of stairs. The best rooms have amazing views of the ocean but you need to be fit to make it up and down the stairs. Great for an extra workout though!

Lovely location, only a few minutes walk to Main Street with loads of bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious with balcony or ground floor patio. We had room overlooking the pool so very quiet. We asked to be moved from our ground floor room as quite a few flies and mosquitoes, the staff were fantastic, not a problem and was moved to 1st floor. We also now had a view of the sea. Pool bar open everyday with a happy hour. Booked a tour to pig island at the hotel, no issues. Very friendly staff.

I loved this area it got beautiful nature and the hotel feels so cozy with all the greenery surrounding it! Staff was amazing and so kind, pool very nice, gym was fresh but no AC. Beautiful room and the balcony had a view over the pool and greenery.

The only thing is that if you’re thinking about booking this hotel you need to rent a scooter to avoid getting cabs/grab everywhere since it’s more expensive on the islands. There is some life in Lamai but not as much as in chaweng. Still I prefer this stay because I didn’t want to have all that bar environment around me. And if you want to have closer to the beach you should book by the beach since it was about 11-15 min walk.

The room was spacious so could unpack the suitcase and relax. The bed was 2 singles pushed together which wasn’t ideal but was comfortable enough. It had air conditioning which worked well. The hotel pool area was great and the hotel was walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. Please note they only allow you to have one key so you cannot charge your devices unless you’re in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lamai Buri Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful. It has a fabulous pool, pool bar and restaurant area beside the pool with delicious (and reasonably priced) food. The room we had was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and even let us use the pool after we had checked out. They also held our bags when we went on a day trip. We could only stay for two nights and were disappointed we couldn't stay longer!

The location is the far side of Lamai, so a little far from the main area, but still only a ten minute walk. The checkout process also took quite a while. They check your room when you checkout to make sure there are no damages etc., but we were waiting nearly fifteen minutes to get our deposit back and ended up being late for a day trip we were doing on that day.

Spacious room with view to the ocean. It was also out of the busy areas but a short walk to every thing you’d need - restaurants, cafes, supermarket and the beach. As a solo traveller I felt safe at all times and the staff were super helpful.

The bed was hard and I had to ask for extra mattress toppers to make it softer. Also the wifi was consistent which made working hard so I worked most of the time for a cafe around the corner

I stayed 5 nights in this hotel after my retreat down the street had ended. I got a great deal on Booking.com - 180 Euros during a busy time in Lamai Beach. Because the mattress was very hard, the staff was able to provide me with a memory foam topper which helped a lot.

The restaurant seems to be closed permanently. There was a certain smell in the room, sort of reminded me of China, which I didn't much care for.
