In one word: a dream. The view you wake up to (after sleeping like a baby) is straight out of the movies. This place is a paradise of nature, scenery, and simplicity. The bungalows are quite simple and not luxurious. But they’re big, in good condition, with stunning views of nature, the lake, and mountains. 4-5 minutes on scooter from Pai center. It’s peaceful here, with only the sounds of nature. It’s cool at night without air conditioning (there’s no A/C, only fan). I slept here better than anywhere else in Thailand. Movie-like views, with nature, peace, animals, duck, fish, talking parrots, dog, cats, mosquitoes 😉. It’s a family-run hotel with lovely, friendly hosts and excellent service. Through the resort, you can order food from the neighboring village - authentic, fresh, and very tasty. I recommend. There’s even a free foot massage (fish in a dedicated pool). I enjoyed every moment of living here, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

You need to leave in the end... And really-really didn't wanted to leave...

Everything! This place is Fabulous & if you're considering here for the fishing - you won't be disappointed! We came here 6yrs ago & always knew we'd go back - Run & Orn who are the hosts are fabulous friendly & helpful people - quaint hut style accomodation with your own decking to fish from - rods/net etc 200thb oer day, bair available at reception, communal kitchen with Everything you need, lunchtime meals are available there I think until 2pm - rooms serviced daily & fresh towels & linen dauly too - wonderful service all round - the setting of Bueng Pai Farm is Stunning! 15min walk to nearest shop, but moped hire from 100thb in town is easier for getting around in general in Pai - the roads are very good and lots to see close by - we fished day and night - caught several species and few of each - some great plays with the huge Carp and Redtail Catfish unto 50lb, snakeheads, gourami other catfish, - friendly dog, few cats, parrots & birds, lots nature & wildlife about it is a beautiful tranquil calm environment- our first visit here we stayed 5nights- this time we booked 7 and extended another 4 - Will definitely return in the future & highly recommend this little slice of heaven with a big fish bonus 😎

Nothing to dislike about here

On and Ron run a delightful fishing farm with bungalows to stay in. They are all set around the lake with decks and hammocks and a communal kitchen area to use with fridge, cooker etc There is a delightful dog, some kittens and some characterful parrots who talk to you. This place is an oasis of calm about 5-10 ride out of Pai on the backroads. We didn't fish, not our thing, just soaked up the lovely atmosphere and enjoyed chatting to folk over a firepit. Really a very lovely place to stay, either short or long term and highly recommended. If you like fishing then the fish are huge! We saw one caught by another guest and it was a sight to see!

Nothing. We thought there might be mosquitos and was surprised that there weren't!

Everything on the farm and in the bungalows is very thought out and intentional. You can tell Ron and Orn put a lot of heart into everything that they are doing on the farm. We booked the bungalow with the sofa bed on the porch and it was great to have with the hammock too. Originally booked for 3 nights and stayed for 6 days, we didn’t want to leave. Great place to relax and take in the awesome views of the surrounding mountains. They made up our room every day and did little things like bringing us mosquito coils through out the day. Really great experience.

If you come to Pai, you have to stay here. It is perfect in every way. The hosts are so lovely and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you (they made us good luck charms for the rest of our travels). The place itself is so peaceful and relaxing (I even slept for 12 hours one night!). Waking up on the lake and being surrounded by beautiful nature was amazing. It’s only a short 5 minute drive to the centre of Pai (we rented a bike), we even walked one day which was only 30 minutes. You can order food from a local neighbour in the daytime aswell which is a bonus if you want to stay by the lake for the day.

Paradise!!! How can I describe this perfectly beautiful place? I stayed for a week during Christmas season. If there had been space, I would stay a month! Seriously! This place is surrounded with full nature. I woke up with I like every moment when I stayed here. I woke up with beautiful birds singing in the morning, opened up the window and lied on the bed reading a book as seeing a mountain view with the sky. Even in the morning and afternoon, it's so great to relax on the hammock. In the late afternoon, I enjoyed watching sunset here or went for a walk to a nearby nature. In the evening, it's so tranquil in the room that I enjoyed a quite and relaxing time. The host Ron & Orn are genuine, humble and super kind. I had so much care from them and they made me feel home right away. Their sweet heart still remains in my heart. I miss them so much!!! For the kitchen, hosts prepare some ginger tea, banana and fruit that they grow for free in the morning. Also, I ordered thai menu for lunch and it's delievered from a nearby local kitchen (for sustainability of local community). Price is very reasonable and it tastes super super tasty even better than the ones in the restaurants of other restaurants. For those with scooters, it's less than 5 mins drive. Personally I didn't have a scooter but it was not a big deal. I truly enjoyed my walking and it was one of my pleasure of staying in Bueng Pai Farm. It you need a scooter or bicycle, the host will help you. It's a paradise within a nature. You can hardly find this tranquil and heart-fulfilling place in Pai. I want people to get to know about this perfect place, and don't want many people to know of here at the same time. Literally nothting!! :)

This is the most wonderful place to stay! It's located outside the main town about 6 minutes by car, but you can still walk about 30 minutes through gorgeous scenery to get there (Which we did many times day and night as we don't ride scooters. Very safe). The grounds are immaculate, there is life and nature all around. The resident dog, cats, birds and fish make this an animal lovers dream. One parrot likes to scream SAWADEEEKAHHH as you walk by, which I found hilarious I loved buying fish food and feeding the fish. We stayed in the tent, which was more like glamp-ing than camping. There are lights and a comfy mattress inside and a little patio right on the lake. There is more space than I expected, there's even a little living room area! There's not much immediately around but you can order food from the neighbor 9-3 and there's a nice kitchen - plus you're invited to use any of the herbs growing in the garden. Chill out spots are everywhere.its so relaxing. The owners are kind and gracious hosts. I'll never forget this stay and I would 200 percent come back.

Leaving was the only part I didn't like.

A beautiful and tranquil oasis nestled in Pai. First of all the owners On and Ron are the kindest and most wholesome hosts, we felt so welcomed by them and they made our stay so comfortable and special! All the little touches around the farm, are just perfect. We loved the kitchen facilities too, it was nice to be able to make our breakfast in the morning after backpacking with no kitchen for so long! We stayed in the tent perched on a bamboo platform overlooking the water. It was very comfortable. It was cleaned daily and overall we are so glad we chose this, it was great to have a different type of experience while in such a beautiful and relaxing place. We came away feeling so refreshed! Highly recommend!

Dream location to stay :-) you wake up in the morning and open your terrace with views from your bed to the lake and the mountains. People who like to fish can do that directly from the terrace - for my husband a dream came true :-) In the morning we received free ginger tee and bananas and you can order coffee and delicious food. The owners are the most lovely hosts we met and thank you for staying with you and your lovely dog 😍

This was the best place we stayed in the whole of Thailand. The family-run owners, Run, Orn and his brother were absolutely amazing. From the moment we got there til we left, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even took us into town to rent a motorbike, then took us and our bags to our next hotel. They make an effort to know the names of all guests, and gave us a lovely handmade gift when we left. We will tell everyone who visits Pai to stay here, thank you!

Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have been improved wasn't in their control. But next door to our villa (a different establishment, I think a farm) there was a really noisy barking and howling dog which disrupted the quiet calm atmosphere, particularly on the last day. It sounded really distressed and yelped a lot - really hoping it wasn't being hurt.
