The hosts and the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. During our stay, we felt at home. The food was authentic and delicious, full of local herbs and veggies. The hotel is proving that Phuket, as an island, still has so much to offer. The hosts gladly share the local tips and help with the organization of excellent sightseeing tours. Localization close to nature ensures a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking sunrises. The resort also fulfills all boujee needs (bathrooms and bedrooms with a sea view) for a fair price. The size of the resort also works in favor of a peaceful and calm atmosphere. The resort provides free transport to 7Eleven and the closest pier. Organization, communication, atmosphere, amenities, localization, and experience are simply on point!

The beach and pool are beautiful spots in this resort, and we enjoyed them a lot. They could be a little bit more groomed, but it didn't bother us much, as the resort is still outstanding as it is.

The view from the rooms are outstanding … Glorious uninterrupted view of the sea and gorgeous Sunrises. Large rooms in a peaceful setting, surrounded by tropical vegetation. The perfect location to relax and chill, just listening to the sound of the waves of the sea breaking on the rocks. The cafe/restaurant overlooked the sea and served delicious well priced meals. Staff were excellent and happy to give advice on day trips and organising transport etc. A free transport service to the piers and to the local convenience store was also available. There were also free bikes to borrow.

It was a great location to relax and chill but if you particularly wanted to see the main beaches and sights like old Phucket town etc, it did involve a 45min grab each way. Also the sea went out a long way so that you could only swim for part of the day.

The hotel is located in a very peaceful and remote area, which was exactly what I was looking for, away from civilization. However, there’s a 7-Eleven store just a 5-minute drive away, which is convenient if you need anything. The hotel itself is very beautiful, modern, and clean, not just by Thai standards. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, with a stunning view of the sea and the sunrise. The owner and the entire staff are very kind and attentive, creating a family-like atmosphere. They make sure to meet your needs, and they even brought food to my room, even after hours. The breakfast was excellent, and although I had stomach issues, they kindly prepared a special diet meal for me, which wasn’t on the menu. I really appreciated that. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a drink, and they also offered us various tours and activities.

The beach near the hotel isn’t great for swimming. It’s not very well-maintained, and due to the strong tides, swimming is only possible during high tide, and the water isn’t very clear. However, this didn’t bother me much since I didn’t go there for the beach. Another minor issue was the shower, where it was a bit difficult to adjust the water temperature. It wasn’t a big deal, but I did struggle with it a bit.

The room was spacious and lovely, with a massive bathroom. The bed was super comfy and the views were amazing. The staff were all super friendly, great spa packages, and easy and free shuttles to main tourist spots.

The pool was quite small with no lounge chairs and the beach was less than ideal and the pathway was through the jungle which was a little scary actually! The food also was really not great--fine, but I would hope for a bit better cosidering how isolated it is.

Peace and queit, very clean and well maintained. Staff very nice and helpfull, food delicious. Room is big and comfortable, view from the balcony amazing. It's located on the quet side of the island and there is not much going on in the area, so if you want too see more of the island you need some kind of ride. Motorbike can be rented nearby, the owner will help you to get one. We would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet.

Beach nearby is not really for swimming, you can swimm only when the tide is high, but the water is not so clear like on other beaches. Restoran works from 08 AM till 06 PM but you can get your breakfast to go before 08 AM

location was excellent, with great sea view to be seen from the room with floor to ceiling glass windows. The staff were excellent, so accommodating and the paddle board lesson was great! cannot recommend enough if you want a quiet place to relax for a few days

Everything. This is literally a gym. the place is quite with beautiful scenery over the bay. Near the pier so that we once rent a boat and went into a private trip. The owner and his wife is doing a great job at making the stay enjoyable. I planned initially 2 nights but I ended up staying for 5 nights

There is literally no negatives at all. I drove my car so I don’t know if you come by taxi how much u will enjoy since the place is a bit remote. Not if u rent a motorcycle for example.

I am a solo female traveler and I arrived from USA —> Europe for 2 months —> 8IK88 in Thailand. I had never visited the Asian continent, so 8IK88 was my first Thailand and Asian place to call home. I’m so grateful I found this accommodation and my new Thai family that runs it 🙏🏽 Could not recommend more for first time visitors and solo travelers looking for a really comfortable, clean, tranquil space to unwind and find your inner relax. I appreciate everyone at 8IK88 for treating me like family. I felt safe, looked after, thought of and brought into the fold of a culture I have never experienced before. The host and his wife are from Thailand and are also huge fans of nature. They helped me arrange multiple days of outdoor adventures, and they even invited me to join them on their holiday to outdoor adventures 1-2 hours away 🥹 I noticed they are as hands on or off as you’d like — there were a lot of couples who stayed here and seemed to do their own thing and stay in their bubble for pure relaxation and time together. And I noticed other couples and myself seek more insight and local advice. They will follow your lead and be as available as you decide.

I loved everything. I do have a suggestion for everyone staying here though: I highly recommend you rent a scooter or vehicle at least one or two days of your stay here. I stayed here for 7+ days. You do not need to do this if you are only planning to be there for a few nights and explore the other islands — they will set you up for that. But if you want to see more of Phuket, having wheels does open you up to really gorgeous beaches and neighborhoods. They helped me find and plan EVERYTHING, including my rental and where to visit with my car. Banana beach was amazing.

This was the best stay we had in our 2 week trip across Thailand. The food was amazing, one of the best curry I’ve had in my time in this beautiful country. The hospitality we had during our stay has been one of the best I’ve ever had. You will meet the owner who will go above and beyond for you, he represents why Thailand people are one of a kind. Our view from our room overlooking the sea was also beautiful during sunrise and sunset. Book your stay here in Phuket, you won’t regret it!
