Above all, the staff outperformed our expectations—very welcoming and amicable staff. Great hospitality which makes you feel like you’re home away from home. The staff went above and beyond for our comfort. Big shout out to all staff from entertainment team—who spent time catering to our recreational activities which has made our stay very enjoyable and unforgettable. Special thanks especially to Yuhan who went above and beyond bringing us on a biking tour around the quaint village Concierge—check in/out was seamless with your luggage all well taken care of. Very attentive to guests’ needs. Buggy service was always readily available for guests given the resort is HUGE. F&B—very extensive buffet breakfast options with daily new variations to food. Highlights would be make your own noodle soup and make your own juice bar. Good variety of options for those with dietary requirements (GF, veg). There were three restaurants to choose from and one sunset bar with great views. Food was absolutely delicious—chef nails international food as well. Spa service is amazing with top quality masseuse/masseurs. We felt very relaxed and rejuvenated after our massage. Last but not least, excellent SECLUDED location for a serene getaway, however VERY accessible to mainland Phuket. Well suited for families, couples and friends. Absolutely stunning, secluded beachfront with kayaks and SUPs available to guest with no extra charge. Recommend kayaking to the mangrove forest (you can definitely go there without a guided tour if you’re confident with kayaks).

Complimentary shuttle speedboat from Phuket mainland back to the resort could be more flexible with running a later service i.e. does not need to be as frequent as during daytime, perhaps a single late service would be great for those who wishes to visit the multitude of Phuket night markets. Although this wasn’t an issue for us as the comfort of the resort negates the need to explore outside of the island during our short trip there.

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken! The hotel/island are simply beautiful. The staff are amazing. We can't say enough about our time here, and we are looking forward to returning. It says a lot about this property that even considering the issues with food and beverage (below), we still rate it a perfect 10. Absolutely everything else about this resort surpasses expectations and makes the stay completely worth it!

Our only complaint would be regarding the food and beverage experience. The room service food was consistently amazing. Rum Chapel's food was quite good, but the desserts were disappointing. Tonsai's food was average overall. My Grill's food was the most disappointing as it was the most expensive yet the lowest quality of all the restaurants. Daily breakfast was really disorganized and needs to be organized like other 5-star resort breakfasts (i.e. having a waiter that is able to take/deliver orders for the freshly made items like eggs, drinks, pancakes, etc.) Finally, the pool/beach-side service could be better with a way to call wait staff from your chair.

Out booking was half board, upon check in, were told that children are NOT included and only can have something from kids menu I contacted Booking.com who have sent an inquiry to them, but I haven’t heard anything to this moment

For a resort that is 20+ years old I thought it was very well maintained. Obviously, there are signs of wear, but none that take from the resorts quality of stay. The room size, private pool and location were amazing. We had just enough view of the ocean with pirvacy to satisfy!! There are 3 restaurants on the island all with substantial choices for dinning. I was really impressed with the lunch menu at the rum Chapel! We never had a meal we didn't enjoy at any location.

My only gripe (not that the hotel has any control) are the free reign of children at the pool... if you don't want to be splashed, get your books wet, or constantly distiurbed while reading... sit towards the back of the pool area or get there early to grab a beach lounger. .. there's limited seating. Children play and have fun... I get it. (I have two, I'm just saying

Everything was excellent: the staff, the room, garden and private swimming pool. The whole resort including the awesome vegetation, the public spaces including the marvelous public swimming pool, and so on and so on, deserve no other comment then impressive. There was taken care for really every detail.

But unfortunately we didn’t meet the feeling of enormous exclusivity in My Grill. As half board guests we were given the feeling of economy class by the lack of red meat on the menu. Of course we wished to taste the exquisite meat, which we did. But we had to pay the full amount. A big disappointment for such a high classified resort.

The care of the staff, the upgrade, complimentary things they offered, the restaurants were good standard, the pool was nice (both private and shared).

The beach, looking at the pictures, unfortunately the beach looks nothing like it. We missed a proper kids club with nannies so that we actually could enjoy some of the adult activities like yoga, massages, etc. However, the manager already came back on an email saying that this is about to be installed soon.

The island was idyllic and the staff were very attentive and good. We took the breakfast and dinner package and it was good value for that. Food was good though expensive.

The garden villa with a pool is where we stayed. The room was beautiful. The bathroom and outside setup also so unique. I however have an aversion to lizards and critters and the bathroom area was pretty open. I found lizards everywhere (in the toilet bowl, near the vanity area and on the wall in the shower). Now this is very specific to me but my husband had no issues with it. When we left the last day I saw sulphur outside the front door and freaked cause I knew it was for snakes. And I was glad I was leaving.

We just returned from a perfect summer vacation at what can only be described as a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff is truly outstanding, always kind, attentive, and committed to making sure you are happy. The word "no" simply does not exist in their vocabulary. The rooms are spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed with comfort in mind. The pool and spa facilities are exceptional, and every detail is thoughtfully cared for. For those traveling with children, like we did, this place is a dream. There are fun and engaging activities every single day from morning to evening. Our daughter took part daily in the cooking and baking classes, an experience she will never forget. If heaven has a gate, this place must be it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and truly exceptional service.

The rooms are very spacious and private. Our sea facing villa had an amazing view and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The villas also have a large garden and it really feels like a secluded escape. The resort has a very relaxed vibe to it. We also loved the spa treatments. We highly recommend the private cooking class, we absolutely loved it!

The rooms feel a little old, especially the bathrooms. Little things like noisy AC units, no AC in the bathrooms, use of MDF wooden panels, and lack of any kind of music player/sound system, take away a bit from the true 5 star luxury experience. However, this is compensated by the sheer size of the villa and garden which was wonderful. There was quite a bit of miscommunication with the restaurant staff, where orders were routinely brought incorrectly (in particular the pancake and ice cream station, as well as the egg station). Again, not a huge deal but for a resort that's part of the luxury collection it is a detail worth improving.

The hotel is located on a private island. You have to take a speed boat and then a buggy to get to the room. There are speed boats every half hour making it convenient for guests to get off the island if needed. The check in was done at the port once we got off the ferry - so the buggy took us directly to the room which was great as we landed in the evening and were exhausted. The property has 3 restaurants - one thai, one seafood grill and the rum shack which did delicious cocktails & mocktails along with great salads. The staff were all very polite and helpful - cannot beat thai hospitality. Special mention to Bennet - my son injured his arm in a small cycling accident - & Bennett took charge, took him to the nurse ( they have a nurse/ clinic on site in hotel ) - got my son the necessary treatment needed and even send the nurse to our room the following day to check up on my son. - We booked the Garden view private one bedroom villa - it was gorgeous - the pool was a great size for 4, the room was set up with 2 extra beds for my kids , the bathroom was lovely - the shower had a steam as well - which was great. The room had a outhouse which was a great space for the family to watch a movie, or to catch up on a few work emails.

The gym might need a redo . The equipment is all new and upto date- however the gym is split into 2 floors and the rooms to workout in are small and a bit claustrophobic. Maybe a gym with the beautiful views of the beach would be a great idea. The adult/infinity pool while had lovely views - the floor/tiles of the pool was uneven & rocky causing blisters on the toes and feet.
