Very nice pool area. Kids were entertained for days on the slide. Comfy beds.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived 4PM so we were given drink vauchers to wait by the pool until it was ready 5PM. Seemed like a nice gesture. Later we got a bill for these drinks. It was only 160 baht so no big deal, however left me very puzzled what was the point of the vauchers.

Great location, close to many restaurants, shops, 7 eleven etc The shuttle to the beach is great and staff was friendly. Room was clean everyday. Breakfast had good variety.

Nothing in special. Kids area may need some renovation works on the floor.

Very quiet hotel and at the same time very close to the Main Street with restaurants, markets and spas, and to the beach. The swimming pools were wonderful as was the food.

There were no toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Had to give a Large safety deposit USD 200 wasn’t aware and had to put on credit card. Takes 14 days for refund

It’s a little dated with the furniture but that’s no big deal that’s about the only negative I have

Good standard of resort with several pools including an adult pool. Wifi is generally good.

Great breakfast, clean rooms, and a fun pool for kids. This is a great resort for families in a top Phuket location. The nearby beach is one of the best beaches for swimming we‘ve had in Thailand, especially for kids. We only had breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of more affordable restaurants within walking distance.

The services (such as laundry) and drinks/food at the hotel are overpriced in my opinion. Fortunately, there are so many alternatives nearby. Also, the hotel is very close to the amazing Kata beach, but there’s the Club Med hotel blocking the direct path to the beach. So you have to take a bit of a detour which makes it a 20-minute walk. Easy for us, but something to consider. However, the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle.

Maybe we are the lucky one - we get really good and fresh room number. It exceeded all my expectations, which were much lower. I was really happy during the all the time of vacation. Thanks to hotel for that. Everyday was good cleaning, we all the time was greeted with smile and willingness to help. In my opinion there is a good breakfasts.

Extend breakfast time until 11am. I first time write this: maybe need to improve a bit english level of all staff. But as you see it is a nitpicking...

We had THE most amazing stay at the Centara Kata. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond in everything. We felt so well looked after. The attention to detail from the team was incredible, we have never had such great service as we had here (and we have stayed in many lovely places around Thailand over the years). The rooms were clean and tidy and had beautiful outlooks, one onto the garden and the other onto one of the gorgeous swimming pools. The rooms have everything you need, the bathroom is beautiful and tranquil. The swimming pools are all AMAZING. Kids loved the DJ and foam party on Friday afternoon, so much fun. The food was incredible, the Chef is very talented and really cares about guests enjoying the menu. We loved the breakfasts, lunch and dinners and the fabulous International Buffet Dinner was a real treat! So delicious, all of it, very fresh, immaculately prepared and tasty. And so much selection, you don’t need to actually eat anywhere else! And the dining area is relaxing and gorgeous, we just loved it and kept coming back for our meals here instead of heading out. It’s a great location set back only a bit and due to this the Centara feels - and I believe is - VERY safe. Quick easy walk to the beach and lots of shops and food very close by, 7-11 etc. So convenient. Or the Centara have a free shuttle to the beach and back. We took that down and easily walked back by choice with the children, not a problem. Kata beach is stunning. We felt so relaxed, the Resort has everything you need and we enjoyed our time in the beautiful grounds too that are so well looked after, it really is an amazing huge property with lush gardens and it’s all so well kept and gorgeous walking around. The staff take such great care of it all and clearly have a lot of pride in what they do and how it is presented. What a gem, we all were sad to leave and will recommend Centara Kata to everyone. We would one million percent stay here again!

The smell of the lobby Felt warm and homely Kla in the bar was excellent. He was very friendly and funny. The pools were great and always clean Garden well maintained Plenty of water provided in rooms and products in bathroom The wide variety of the international and local options on the menus and breakfast buffet Drinks were good quality - we also enjoyed the slushie options that weren’t there went we visited in 2024. Air con was excellent Loved the free shuttle to the beach- this is a real draw card for tourists like our family We felt safe and secluded once we entered the Centara driveway The side of the fridge in the apartment was great.

Noticed many additional taxes that had been added on to meals purchased that we didn’t have last year so unfortunately we are at the hotel less. Our room was cleaned at random times of the day including up to 530pm when we were getting ready to go out. It would be helpful to have some bins outside around the property so we could put our rubbish in there. The blankets were taken by house keeping every night and then we had to go to the lobby every night and ask for more bedding. Insufficient number of towels for the number of people in the room so I had to dry myself with a bath mat a few nights.
