I really liked the hotel, I originally wanted to stay at intercontinental but chose this hotel cause it was new and cheaper. The location was perfect. It was besides intercontinental, it's just opposite cafe del mar and a walking distance to carnival magic and Fantasea. It is also not too far from patong being on kamala. The room was very clean, Ac worked fine, breakfast spread was OK though options were limited and their app made the stay even better.

I wish I was pre- informed about the deposit. The hotel requires a 3000 baht deposit before check in but it's refunded on check out.

We loved this hotel, we were upgraded on arrival, 2 bedroom suite was spacious with a large fridge and had cutlery and crockery. Breakfast was good, one morning they had fillet steak which was delicious with a tasty sauce. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was until 11am and 12 midday on New Year's Day. The rooftop was awesome with the best DJ Ice Smith who played excellent beats and let our kids get involved which they cannot speak about enough. The New Year's party was incredible, so much fun and we could see the Cafe Del Mar Fireworks as well as the brilliant show put on by the hotel. We could swim during the party and the cocktail buckets were awesome. The staff were amazing. The Best New Year's party ever. The pools are divine, with sparkling lights even in the floors of the pool. Lighting is something to behold. Free transfers to Surin and main Kamala area, but only at certain times.

We loved this hotel, could do with sun loungers at the rooftop, lots of seating, but no loungers. Could put them on the deck at the back as the seating is great around the pool bar. Balconies very small, no clothes drying rack on balcony and couldn't smoke on balcony. (Our preference while kids are sleeping).You can smoke on the rooftop or at a designated area close to reception which was good. No convenience stores close by but lots of small beach bars and restaurants further down on the beach.Divine huge beach towels from reception, but could do with a station on rooftop as well.

Marin Phuket is a fantastic accommodation option that truly stands out for its comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Cleanliness is a top priority here, with well-maintained rooms that provide a relaxing space to unwind. Additionally, each room is equipped with a microwave, adding convenience for guests who prefer to prepare light meals or snacks during their stay.

To improve safety and accessibility, it would be beneficial to ensure that the drive/ walk to the hotel has adequate lighting. This would enhance visibility, especially during the evening. These improvements could also help guide visitors more effectively and ensure that the sign is easily readable at all times.

Since the hotel was fairly new, the whole experience was very comfortable. We had the Grand 2 bedroom for 4 of us. Housekeeping was great and left you feeling well taken care of. Very thoughtful of the hotel to provide beach slippers and a tote back for your trips to the beach. The swimming pool was superb with its free form and artistic design. The second pool at the roof was great as you sip your favourite cocktail while watching the sunset. One thing that we were not being informed was the room slippers and laundry bag were chargeable. Well, it's a good thought to making sustainable effort but would be great to inform your guests upfront. Worth coming back for another stay! Try it here!

Everything was perfect during our stay at The Marin Phuket! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the staffs’ warm hospitality. She had no trouble in understanding us and so our communication (in English) was smooth! We were served with some welcome drinks (chrysanthemum) and cold refreshing towels for us to wipe down our hands and face. To our surprise, they provided us each with a self-made bracelet made of jasmine and orchid flowers, which signifies romance. The flowers smelled great and we loved it. After the smooth check-in process, we were led to our room by another friendly staff. The room was spacious, smelled great, and they even made a cute decoration on our beds to welcome our arrival! The lighting in the room was perfect, air conditioning works fine, beds were comfortable, showers worked great and the TV had plenty of selection for us to choose from. Moving on to the breakfast, it had a wide variety of local and international cuisines for us to choose from! The food was warm and delicious. Our dining experience was enjoyable and pleasant. Unfortunately we did not use the facilities in the hotel such as the fitness Center and the swimming pools, but it looked very comfortable as every gym-goer and swimmer we see using the facilities enjoyed themselves very much.

If I had to really write something that I didn’t like, it would be the isolated location of the hotel. There were limited food options around the hotel and the nearest 7/11 is about 15 minutes walk away (the walk was treacherous with bad walkways).

I couldn't fault our stay at this hotel. The property is brand new and very clean. Our 2-bedroom suite was spacious, with plenty of storage and basic kitchen amenities. The rooms were cleaned daily, including a full bed linen change. The breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant were tasty and reasonably priced. Every night, they host a BBQ skewer event at the rooftop pool/bar, which is a nice way to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were some minor quirks, like the cash deposit and room check at checkout, but these weren't major issues. Initially, we were concerned about the distance from the center, but we came to appreciate the short 5-7 minute walk to the beach. For context, we are a healthy family with older teenagers, so this walk was fine for us. It might be more challenging for those with strollers or mobility issues. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

We stayed at The Marin in Jan 2025 for 3 nights and it was one of the best hotels we have stayed. The hotel, the rooms, the staff, the food, the bars, and the pools - everything was awesome. The rooms were modern and felt like brand new with everything in it - a small kitchen with cutleries, plates, cups and glasses, coffee machine, tea maker, microwave and hot plate. Water and tea/coffee replenished every day. The beds were big, very comfy and great nights sleep. The bathrooms spacious, modern and everything worked perfectly. They have a rooftop pool with an attached bar, and a ground pool for kids to enjoy, adjoining a bar. The restaurant was downstairs, the food was excellent with authentic Thai. The breakfast buffet was out of the world. They even have a buggy vehicle for short commutes for hotel guests. Special mention for Feena and Auddy, they just blew out minds off with their proactive, caring customer service, always with a smile, going the extra mile! I think I will never stay anywhere else apart from The Marin, when I visit Phuket again!

All the staff were so genuine, helpful and present! The pools are gorgeous, and I HAVE to mention that if you're staying at The Marin on a night when Carnival Magic is on, you will see the stunning light show from the top floor pool. We had a dip after watching Carnival Magic and coming home to see the lights while in the pool was really something unique and spectacular.

There's quite dodgy footpaths out on the street, so not an easy walk to Kamala Beach for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that it's a great place! Will happily stay again.
