Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room size and view was pretty good.

They added a 3% surcharge on credit card payments pretty much in violation what was agreed via booking.com here. The location is a bit off and noisy. Also there is a smell coming from a garbage site.

The road has alot of trash outside and causes a very bad smell. The sofa in the room looked very dirty. The room neets dusting

The facilities seems to be outdated from 40 years ago. Pool wasn't clean or able to be used, in fact had leaking water problems. Lights in room at bedside tables not working. Air condition system so loud and external system on balcony and dangerous as had no protection from spinning fan as cover not on and had to be careful when passing it. The sink plug was broken and won't drain until I removed the centre grate. No lift and our floor was 3 levels up. No one there to greet our arrival, slight late and emailed in advance of our updated arrival time when delayed. Called number and got no one, had to wait 40 mins before anyone came to assist us.

We stayed here for 6 nights from 29,12. We asked sea view room. To catch the sea you should cross the road. Sea is not deep and with stones inside so near. In fact in hotel you get only bed and sea view. And wifi. There is no breakfast in hotel because there is no cafe, bar or restaurant. I asked lady on reception how to organise the food but she just joked that she can cook for me. Really? Oh, no, I'm joking. It's planty sad. To eat you can use night market on other side of road or 7/11. There are cafe in front of 7/11 but menu pages are dirty, service is lazy and partially food is absence. To guess what do they have today putting finger in every menu position is bad practise. And that's all. Another cafes are on patong beach which is 10-15 walking way. There is no mini bar in room, no drinking water, no kettle, no fan, no iron, no laundry. Our bed linen were different color, some of them are grey, some are brown and with holes. It's old and worn out. Furniture is old and dusty. When we came we were in shock. The canopy over the bed was stained and there was dirt on top. It took me 2 days to have this mess taken away for washing by staff. As a result, the dirty canopy was removed, the garbage scattered around the room and onto the bed.  I had to asked staff to change bed linen. leak holes in the ceiling. Totally we had 4 holes in ceiling. And 2 in bathroom. For remain 5 nights we didn't see canopy anymore. Hot water intermittently disappeared. Toilet hose was absent. It seems we had the most expensive penthouse of those that are in this hotel and at the same time such a mess. The beach towels were worn and obviously old and worn to holes. Bath towels were not ideally white, they are in spots. The air conditioner only works at maximum speed with huge noise and it smells strongly of freon. And when the air conditioner is turned on in the neighboring penthouse, it rattles like a helicopter is taking off on our roof. Plus constant road...

paid for 6 nights but only stayed 4 nights and got no refund for the last 2 nights. hotel old and average. pics on Booking website not true to standard of the hotel. of the 4 nights I stayed there was no water on 3 occasions!!!
