For the price a good quality/cost match. Top floor for the lower price rooms so a bit hot during the day. And no you don't have an ensuite bathroom in the budget rooms where I stayed. But a large airy room with ceiling fan and work desk. A single bed. Large windows. Bathroom shared, but it was never a problem. Clean, pleasant staff. Right near the markets (between the night market and the wet market), bus terminals, river, ferry terminal (some ferries.) Activity, places to eat, and entertainment, nearby. Water fountain, small kitchen/microwave behind reception, at a pinch. I extended several times, and the reception staff were sweet enough to gift me a postcard on departure. History bonus, the bathrooms and some rooms look east over a large wooden temple building, which I discovered was Japanese military HQ in WWII, unchanged for 100 years.

MY FAMILY AND I STAYED THERE FOR ONE NIGHT WHEN WE CAME BACK FROM THE ISLAND. WE HAD ONE ROOM WITH ONE BED EXTRA FOR MY SON. THE ROOM WAS SO BIG. THE LIGHT OF ROOM WAS GOOD. THE COOPERATION OF THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. THE ONLY WEAKNESSES THING WAS STAIRS. THEY TRIED TO HELP FOR TRANSPORTING OF LUGGAGE. THE BED WAS COMFORT AND SO BIG. I CAN RECOMMEND IT FOR NEXT STAY AND WISH TO SEE Myplace@Surat Hotel SOON. THE HOTEL IS VERY NEAR TO THE THE NIGHT MARKET. AT THE END OF OUR STAY THEY GIVE US THE BEAUTY POSTAL CARD AND THAT WAS VERY PLEASANT FOR US.

The hotel was very welcoming and clean. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by a kind and helpful staff. We chose a double room with a fan, which was located on the fourth floor. The room was very clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of a clothing stand inside. Additionally, there was a desk, a nightstand, a spacious wardrobe, and a television. The bathrooms were located outside the rooms, but they were very clean.

The stairs to reach the room were many and steep. Since the rooms without air conditioning were located in the attic, it was very hot. We requested a second fan, and I must say the situation improved. As for the bathrooms, unfortunately, the shower water was cold, and there was no option to adjust the temperature.

Good budget hotel in Central Surrat Thani near the Seatran office and right by the busy nightmarket. Room was spacious and clean with a fridge in the room. Shower had decent pressure and aircon worked. They offer water refill and access to a microwave. The hotel had some very sweet customer service touches like my name on a board when I arrived and a personalised postcard on check out.

Bed was a typical hard Thai bed and shower over the toilet, but these are typical of many Thai hotels. However, the amount of shampoo given was barely enough to wash my hair. While they did offer hot water in the lobby, it would be nice to have a kettle in the room.

Nice Location in Surat Thani City Center with walking distance to the Ta Pi River and Streetfood Markets. Panthip Travel Busterminal is a 7 Minute walk away. A 24h Laundromat is right across the Street as well as many local eateries. Hotelroom was clean and nicely furnished with all the basics you need for a short term stay.

The Mini Fridge in our Room 224 was not entirely clean (stains inside and a few ants) it did not really bother us since we did not use it, but maybe a thorough cleanse would be appropriate for future guests :)

Large bright clean room. Good WiFi. Good air-conditioning. Towels and water provided. Helpful staff. Ability to book transport to the Islands through the hotel. Fab location, near to all the required amenities and night markets

The bed was especially soft (as if some of the springs had broken) so while it was OK for sleeping you couldn't sit on it comfortably. There were a few power cuts while we stayed which impacted the facilities which was frustrating (no hot water, no air con, no wifi). The longest was about 1hr - not the specific fault of the hotel but for awareness!

Easy to the centre and close to the small evening market. Nice big rooms and comfy beds, didn’t feel shared bathrooms are dirty, well cleaned. Also 2 bottles of water a day and toilet roll which was useful. Staff friendly and gave me a cute postcard when I left.

I don’t recommend the fan rooms if you are not good with heat, it was difficult. Also I was on 4th floor and no lift so very tiring. (4th floor is for shared bathroom fans) 3rd for fan rooms with bathroom and 2nd for AC rooms with bathroom) Door handle and lock on one of the toilets was broken and all the toilet seats need replacing. Also if you don’t want to shower with a gecko I wouldn’t recommend! (Not hotels fault)

For the price is perfect. The staff is really friendly and nice. They have bikes that can be borrowed for free and a nice cheap menu of Thai food at the restaurant next door for when you are tight on time.

The hotel is cheap, so you are with all kinds of people. We were quite unlucky and had 1/2 in-room smokers on our floor and the stench of smoke was coming into our room. We told the front desk, but there is not much they can do when the floor is already full of smoke.

I messaged regarding a late check in, and my message was answered promptly, and staff were cooperative with my late check in. Helpful communication in English. Staff booked ferry to Koh Samui for me, including collection from the hotel. Clean facilities, and convenient location near food market and shops. No kettle in room, but when I asked about coffee, they told me about the cafe next door ( same ownership I think )which was actually very reasonable and good for breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay for reasonable price, and particularly good staff. Thank you.

The staff gave me a farewell postcard which made me so happy. When I first stayed in an all inclusive room, it was so lovely. When I stayed with a shared bathroom it wasn't that nice (cold shower) but it was perfectly fine, considering the price. The location is ideal and you feel safe there, aside from the second time I had stayed there was another customer that made me feel very uncomfortable but I knew I could tell the staff.
