Boundary is located in the downtown area of Surat Thani. I stayed a week and became familiar with the area. The night market is especially good with one local selling all kinds of nuts, dried fruit and freeze dried fruit and vegetables. The freeze dried Jackfruit is delicious. Boundary is a nice place for independent travelers with a little kitchen.

Situated very close to the minivan terminus, very helpful host. Booked minivan and ferry for me to Koh Samui. Minivan turned up " Thai time" approx 30 minutes late, but still a good service, got on boat in good time. Facilities at Boundary are very clean, though a little basic. Attentive helpful staff. There is a grill which is locked across the entrance at night for security, to which guests have a key for late returns. Though I was only here for one night, I was made to feel at home. Overall a very good experience at a good price.

The walls are thin and you can hear noise from other rooms. Still much more privacy than a dormitory, and not a big problem for me as I slept well after a long day of travel.

Clean showers and bed. Comfortable sleep, did the job for one night and very good value for money. Shower facilities good and towels provided was lovely.

Bedroom dingy as no window and only one light, but wasn’t a major problem for us. Thin walls so loud when people in dorm moving around but most hostels are. Some ants or maybe termites in room.

The accomodation is very conveniently located only a 2 minute walk from the bus terminal where the bus from Koh Samui (or any of the other islands) drops you off. It is also very close to the waterfront and the night markets in town. So for us it was the perfect one night stay before we headed further into Thailand.

The room is a bit basic but it has everything you need really. The bathroom is outside at the back for the double private room and it is not fully sheltered, the shower and toilet are just not the vanity area in front of it.

Perfect place to rest the head in between travel days. We unexpectedly had to stay in Suratthani for a night and Boundary was the perfect place to stay - it was walking distance from where our bus from the airport dropped us. The lady working there also let us in quite late and helped us book ferry transfers for the next day. The room and shared bathroom was alway clean!

it’s an adorable family run hostel. it was located very centrally which was helpful for our travels. also, i left my passport there by accident and they were so helpful in helping me find it.

Helpful staff. Good access. Great AC . Clean, functional. Good location for me. Easy check in /checkout.

Very clean, great location for bus transfer to Ko Samui. Really lovely owners.

We unfortunately had an extremely loud neighbour and because the walls are very thin this wasn’t ideal for our early start, but we were just unlucky.

Stayed at this hostel only one night, arriving late, before catching ferry to the islands. Nice place to stay, with reasonable price. The manager is very kind and helped organise transfer and ferry booking!
