I very rarely trust reviews and as this was our first visit to El Vino we had no idea what to expect. We are used to 5 star resorts which whilst usually have exceptional service and facilities can feel soulless which is why we tried El Vino. We are so pleased we did this is a beautiful stylish family run hotel with exceptional hospitality and attention to detail, this is a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The breakfast is outstanding. We stayed in a room by the pool so not sure what other rooms are like. The Hotel is dark but helps with the extreme heat. The photos do not do it justice.

Nothing really, maybe a coffee machine for breakfast would be good, but that’s just a personal preference ( they have drip coffee)

From the moment we arrived my mum and I were made to feel welcome. Our taxi dropped us off at the back of the hotel, which I don't think was expected, and the head chef let us in and installed us by the pool while the check in staff came down to us. The manager arranged a wonderful private boat trip with lunch and swimming. The rooftop restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed watching the sun go down over Bodrum each night. We were well looked after our whole stay and made to feel that nothing was too much trouble.

The El Vino was an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Bodrum. It was so serene in every area and the staff were exceptional paying attention to every detail with a smile and greeting each day. It was extremely clean and the plants and flowers were so pretty. Sun loungers were ready every morning with a rolled up clean towel on each one

The approach road to the hotel is a bit scruffy but don't let that put you off and the pool is rather small and although there are plenty of places to sit around the pool, by the time we left on 08.06.25 it was getting very busy and you may have struggled to find a free lounger.

oasis is a good description - you can really relax and forget your just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum town as it’s very tranquil and charming. The rooms, pool, hot tub, breakfast, staff, facilities in general are all very good. Wasnt important to me but the WiFi was also pretty fast and reliable both in the room and by the pool. Its a short walk into Bodrum town which has plenty going on but if you want to explore further has good parking for a hire car (or the main bus/dolmas hub is a few minutes walk away). I’m an animal lover so was nice to have Kiki the dog and a few cats around the pool area but if that’s not your thing I wouldn’t worry as they seem much more interested in sleeping most of the day.

Being very picky the private beach area isn’t cheap - €45 p/p (€15 transfer, €30 at the beach which as I understand is effectively a minimum spend) so for a family of three or four it’s quite a hit just for a day out. I can’t say if it’s really worth it as we decided to hire a car (to explore the area in general)and went to one of the local (free) public beach’s (Bodrum Yali) which gets my seal of approval as was quiet, clean and had some of the best prices you can find - €1 for a sunbed and umbrella for the day, a very big lunch not inc alcohol for €10 a head. Can’t criticise the hotel too much as is a town Center hotel with an offer of being able to go to the beach - not a beach hotel, I just think it was a bit overpriced.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel. It exceeded my expectations. We had 2 first floor pool view rooms (our grown daughters were next door). The rooms are spacious. Loved the tea and cookies by the pool in the afternoon. We enjoyed the hot tub. The buffet breakfast was amazing!!! We ate all three nights in the rooftop restaurant. The food was amazing with a view of the castle and harbor. We would absolutely stay here again! On our last day, we were missing breakfast due to an early ferry. They packed us 4 breakfasts to take with us. It was so much food and unexpected.

The pool bar was not open yet, but we were a little bit off season.

We had the most incredible stay at El Vino! My partner arranged the trip as a birthday gift, and the entire experience was unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrated, from organizing a beautiful cake to decorating our room with the sweetest touches. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, just a short walk from the harbour and town. The hotel itself was a peaceful oasis, with a serene pool area that made it feel like a true escape. We’re already dreaming of coming back. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at El Vino for making our stay so special!

Incredible experience start to finish, in every detail. Whether the quality of the rooms, the food, the staff (not only friendly, but proactively helpful and knowledgeable as well as the hostess who was patient and understanding but the owner who gave us a private tour) Truly one of the most, if not the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to. Truly stunning architectural masterpiece, which makes sense given that it is run by a family of architects. You will never forget your experience here. The garden, the hidden jacuzzi, the breakfast, the colors, the flowers, the incredibly comfortable bed. This is not just a hotel, this is an oasis, paradise. I don't know that we had planned on returning to Bodrum, personally I thought we would explore other parts of Turkey but now I am looking at flights to bring family and friends back to Bodrum just to see this beautiful place on earth.

From the moment we arrived, the service and professionalism were outstanding. When we enquired of car parking as we were hiring a car to leave early for Ephesus, we were immediately offered a packed breakfast since we would miss the hotel breakfast. Sayed was extremely helpful with tour queries, and we cant fault the service. The room was lovely, the complimentary afternoon tea appreciated, the pool area inviting, the hotel breakfast was of a high quality. Set in a quiet area, elevated with lovely views, and a 10 minute easy walk from the centre, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We just came back from 5 days at El Vino with our 1y old child and we really enjoyed our stay. All the staff was very friendly and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, and all the facilities were comfortable and well maintained. The restaurant is also very good, well priced and the view is astonishing.

Although the fitness center has a good treadmill, weights and a nice setting, the cycling unit was not functional (probably because it is not used very often)

Delightful hotel, a tropical paradise with bougainvillea and gorgeous colored flowering shrubs throughout. The swimming pools blend into the environment and are chilled which is a treat on a hot day. The cafe next to the pool is a cozy place to sit and sip coffee or sangria under the shade of the trees. The rooftop restaurant is a wonderful surprise with views stretching down to the water and the food is exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and they made us feel so welcome and cherished. It was very hard to leave this wonderful place.
