Exceptional Stay at Kolin Hotel, Çanakkale – A True Five-Star Experience Arrival & Stay Our recent stay at the Kolin Hotel in Çanakkale has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in English by Mahir with warmth, professionalism, personality and impeccable service—qualities that truly set this hotel apart. Every aspect of our visit has been first-class, rivaling even the finest five-star hotels in Dubai. The accommodation was of the highest standard—beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and designed for absolute comfort. The food was exceptional, offering a diverse and delicious selection that catered to all tastes, and the staff across the hotel were incredibly courteous and attentive. Our evening treat palette of mini fruit, sweets,cakes and biscuits was a really lovely touch and very much appreciated in our jacuzzi - whilst we soaked in the views of the Bosphorous. We really must make a special mention for Mahir at reception, whose ambassadorial skills exemplify everything that makes a hotel truly world-class. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication to guest satisfaction were second to none. Thanks to his encouragement, we decided to stay, and we are so glad we did. Mahir is a true credit to the Kolin Hotel, ensuring that every guest feels valued and welcome. Evening Meal We enjoyed a good value and really tasty, beautifully presented pasta meal and chicken shish - in the bar restaurant area and great service at the bar by Mahut (I think) Jacuzzi & overnight Wow 🤩- we loved our luxury jacuzzi bath time it was fabulous looking over the Bosphorous at twilight. Our bed was big and comfortable and we loved the two differently sized but great quality pillows. We loved the little sign in our room indicating who was responsible for the cleanliness of our room. Breakfast Lots of choice at breakfast and we received wonderful service from a very attentive young man called Berkay.

Nothing - we loved it all

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the facilities were wonderful, as we had access to the spa services until late in the evening, plus the room service was fantastic. Mehmet from the reception was extremely nice to us and recommended us interesting places to visit in the area. Overall, one can tell for sure that all the staff of the Kolin Hotel is working together to make their guests feel welcome. As a bonus, we had the chance to see a wedding which took place by the outdoor pool and understand the Turkish traditions in a very pleasant way.

Location was good, close to sea side there is s big walking area with café and restaurants. Breakfast was ok, there is a choice of mainly Turkish breakfast typical items, quality was good. Food from restaurant (high quality) could be ordered to lobby bar that's very convenient for us.

Staff was tired or/and unhappy unfortunately. Our general expectations were higher as Hotel positions itself as 5-star, but actually it feels more like 4-star. Breakfast was expected to be more variable and propose more European food. The big pool in SPA area was cold, so it's good for those who prefer active swimming, but not for those who prefer relaxing. Overall hotel is good, but feels like kind of "tired".

Excellent location for visiting ancient Troy and Assos next to WW1 Canakkale and Gallipoli. This is the best hotel in the area offering a complete experience - tasty breakfast and dinner options, relaxing outdoor and indoor pool areas next to two gyms, walking distance to Canakkale. We enjoyed ourselves throughly and truly felt like home. Plan to visit again.

We liked everything. The hotel was clean and very well maintained, the indoor and outdoor pool areas were relaxing and complete with jacuzzis and saunas, the views of the straights and sunsets were magical.

Excellent facilities and very kind hotel staff. I requested to do reservations for Turkish bath in advance. Because the hotel reception did not respond to my request in time, there were no openings on the one evening that we were there. The manager tried his best to salvage the situation, but could do so due to the non-availability of staff. During the wonderful buffet dinner, he came to us to tell us that the dinner and wine will be on the house. We did not expect this, so it was a great gesture from his side. We appreciated it very much.

The staff of the Spa are not very friendly and helpful. They distract a bit from the wonderful quality of the hotel.

We were given an upgrade to a room with an absolutely amazing view. The hotel was clean and modern, and it was outstanding value for money. The pool looked very inviting and there was plenty of parking.

As the name suggests, it's a conference centre that also serves big tour groups going to Troy and further afield. There wasn't a lot of information about food etc. The restaurant was closed until 7pm, and when we went in it was a buffet (excellent value) that was catering to the tour groups. On reflection we think there may have been an A la carte restaurant as well, which we would have preferred but didn't know it was there until afterwards.

I recently stayed at the Kolin Hotel , and overall, I was satisfied with my experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, which I greatly appreciated. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making my stay enjoyable. However, I did notice one drawback. The staff at the lobby bar had limited proficiency in English, which made communication a bit challenging. While this is a minor issue, I believe a hotel of this caliber should invest in training its staff to better accommodate international guests. Overall, Kolin Hotel is a great choice for those seeking quality accommodation in Çanakkale, but it could benefit from improving the English language skills of its staff in certain areas.

The staff at the reception is very kind, willing to provide all the information you need for a pleasant stay. We had one of the best rooms (was upgraded from reception). The room has all the facilities of a 5-star hotel. One of the best mattresses we've ever slept on! You want to take it home too!

After driving for more than 8 hours, we wanted to have dinner, unfortunately none of the restaurants are open in the afternoon. We stopped at the bar. When we wanted to pay for the consumption at the bar, to our perplexity, the POS was brought to us directly, without a payment note! The payment note was brought to us only after we expressly requested it.

The hôtel is perfect for a stay in cannakale. Nice view and amazing spa, open all day until 10pm. the hotel has several restaurants and bars. we had dinner twice at the open buffet and it was totally worth it. we spent all our free time at the hotel because it had everything, spa, restaurants, bars, sport centre, terrace, rooftop and even a small shop. 100% recommended
