Just a few drawbacks. There was a subtle, lingering smell from the bathroom that seemed to stem from the sewage system, which could occasionally be quite strong smell even with the bathroom door was closed, although the smell went away quickly. Additionally, the vibrant nightlife in the area meant loud music from nearby nightclubs. However, this might not be an issue for those looking for a lively atmosphere or for deep sleepers like myself.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Istanbul – 10/10! We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Rafinn Hotel in Istanbul! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions and enjoy the vibrant local atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided great tips on where to go, what to see, and how to experience the best of Istanbul, which made our trip even more memorable. The breakfast was a great way to start the day—healthy, fresh, and just what we needed before heading out to explore. It was definitely satisfying and thoughtfully prepared. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Our room and the shared spaces were always spotless, which made for a comfortable and relaxing environment. And we can’t forget to mention the adorable little kitten that lives at the hotel! It brought a smile to our faces every time we saw it, adding such a charming touch to our stay. Overall, the Grand Rafinn Hotel provided a wonderful experience, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. We felt at home the entire time and look forward to returning in the future!

Club Noise at night until 4am

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The location is convenient, close to attractions, with a store downstairs. Breakfast was delicious, and the reception kitty was an absolute sweetheart.

The place could be a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom. The noise from nearby clubs was excessive, but the provided earplugs helped. A designated smoking area could improve the situation with the drunk, seemingly aggressive people from the streets.

I really liked the hotel. It is very cozy, clean, located right in the city center and very close to any attraction. Friendly staff, guys who are ready to help with any question and are always at the reception. I was also surprised that this price even includes breakfast, and it was very tasty. Lots of books that you can take to the room and read (for book lovers). I can say with confidence that in terms of price/quality you will not find a better hotel nearby.

There are lots of buildings in a pitiful state; Grand Rafinn Boutique Hotel is actually contributing to uplift the immediate surroundings. We felt safe. The street life is lively and wonderful. Breakfast is well presented. Transfers well organised by hotel.

The location offered both proximity to the city and a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast selection and quality exceeded my expectations. I recommend the hotel as it is just 7 minutes from Taqseem square and 4 minutes from the bus stop that would lead you to almost everywhere. Good for people who want to spend less time at hotel and more outside
