I really liked this hotel. The location is great - not far from the airport (I only stayed for one night stopover), across the road from the sea. The staff were particularly welcoming and friendly. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. I could open the French window for fresh air (important to me). Dinner in the restaurant was ok and breakfast was very good. The hotel offers free pool, spa and sauna though I did not use any of those facilities.

The hotel transport from the airport (30 Euros each way) did not work well when I arrived. The driver was not at the meeting point and I did not know whether or how long to wait (quite a long time, as it turned out). The journey back to the airport was smooth although the smell of smoke in the car was overwhelming. (I am not usually fussy about smoke.) Those are my only complaints about a very pleasant stay.

The receptionist and all hotel staff who made our check in experience a real pleasure. The hotel is nicely designed and everything functions perfectly. The location was beautiful (except that we arrived on a stormy, rainy day therefore the sea was rough, thus we were not able to enjoy a walk along the beach.) It took half an hour to ride to and from the airport from the hotel. We got a complimentary fruit platter which we much appreciated. The room is equipped with both a wall radiator and an air-conditioner (both heat and cold). Bed was comfortable. Shower room was sufficiently equipped. All in all we were happy to be here, and it was a pity that it was only a short stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The free upgrade was a super amenity for me, I got an excellent corner room overlooking the sea. It was pleasant sitting in an armchair with a coffee looking out at the sea. The sauna and hammam that I signed up for in the evening, and I must admit that I was after a week of work relaxed me so much that I didn't want to leave (the lady at the spa reception was very helpful to understand hammam use). If I return to this area again, I will definitely come to the hotel and would love to try the food in the restaurant.

A bit of a smell from the shower pipes, perhaps because it hasn't been used in the last few days.

You can’t wish for a better location- the sea is in a few meters only! What a view from the room! Breakfast was delicious and very generous! SPA facilities are excellent and spa therapist Olga is a true professional!! We had great dinner there as well and I am so grateful that night / day Receptions organised a nice birthday cake for my Mum. Everything in this hotel is 5*. Every team member made us feel welcomed and like at home. Thank you ALL for a great stay!!! I will definitely be back and already recommended to all my friends

A great place to spend a relaxing day or two between flights out of Istanbul Airport. The pool is amazing and the rooms are definitely 4 or even 5 star level (better than some famous US hotels in famous cities where I've stayed). There are free sauna/hammam facilities too. It also has a bar (though with a limited selection of drinks); most places locally dont sell alcohol. The staff are welcoming and helpful. It is right across from the beach. Karaburan isn't a pretty resort, but it is a proper working small town with a fishing harbour, a bakery, and loads of places to eat, including at least two excellent fish restaurants.

This is nothing to do with the quality of the hotel, but it is about 30 minutes from the airport, so only worth it if you have at least a full evening/morning free. The surroundings are a work in progress and it is quite difficult getting down to the beach (there are no obvious steps).

The pool was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The bed was large and super comfortable, making it easy to relax. Inside the room, the air conditioning was very quiet, which helped create a peaceful atmosphere. We also had a beautiful sea view from our room, which was a great bonus. Nearby, there were a few small shops and restaurants, though some of them didn’t sell alcohol. For breakfast, there was no buffet, but they offered a complete Turkish breakfast or other options from the menu if you didn’t have breakfast included.

The air conditioning outside the room was very loud and seemed broken. I couldn't have slept without earplugs! Thankfully, we were only there for one night.

Comfortable hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff. We had one night in Istanbul between flights. We arrived at night, check-in was easy. It's only 25min taxi ride from the airport. We used the hotel shuttle to get to the airport. Delicious Turkish breakfast.

Grey parrot kept in a cage - they have intelligence level of a 4-6 year old child so I think it's a bit cruel to keep it caged and alone. Please provide it with more enrichment and allow it to fly, or maybe get it a couple of feathered friends.

We booked the hotel for a long layover. We were attracted by the location on the sea, the apparent comfort, style, price and that breakfast would be available. Our schedule had us leaving before breakfast was to be served, but knowing this, the night staff made sure we were given a wonderfully packaged “to go” meal that we were able to enjoy in the airport. Many thanks, well done!! Also liked that when we checked in, our room smelled of cigarette smoke, and they were able to move us two rooms over to a very clean room.

The heated floors could not be turned off in the room, and the windows can't be opened as they face the road, so either you sleep in stuffy room or keep up with the road sounds The doors have huge gaps, so you hear everything what happens in the corridors, had to plug the gaps with the towel to make it somewhat quieter. There are 4 pillows on the bed, and they are all same size and hardness (stone hard)...

Very impressive from the get-go. Starting with the reservation team. They were very responsive. Replied to emailed and queries very fast. The WhatsApp communication channel is excellent. Even the driver personally contacted us how to find them with his personal number, which was very helpful since the istanbul airport is quite large. The driver was impeccably dressed, very polite, and the car was super luxurious and clean. The drive was around 20 minutes as stated. It is a beautiful drive in the countryside to the sea where the hotel is located. The rooms are very clean and nice. We stayed only a few hours, so we didn't get to explore the area, but it looked very pretty. The view from the room was very beautiful as well. We ordered some room service( again just through whats app, very quickly and efficiently), which was really yummy. Check and departure were smooth, and the ride back was once again enjoyable. We would highly recommend it even just for transit
