We have stayed a couple of times before and always enjoyed our visits. This time, it was beach weather, and I had a couple of swims in the sea - there is a beach directly opposite (though it is easier swimming about 50 metres to the left, as less rocky when you get in). Or, of course, you can use the excellent hotel pool. Large, well-furnished rooms with comfortable beds and quality bed linen, a big Turkish breakfast in the morning (10 Euro, but worth it). Karaburun (the surrounding villages) has benefitted from a municipal improvements programme, but is still a very genuine resort, mostly for day visitors from Istanbul, with Turkish families on the beach and strolling round the esplanade. It is the best place we've found for decompressing after or before long flights from IST.

It is quite pricy compared with the other options, especially in the summer, but overall good value.

- close to the airport - right on a sea side, the beach is just across the road - the room was big and clean - stuff was very nice and helpful - fantastic view on the sea - rather big swimming pool - spa (I never went but it’s included in the price) - restaurant on the property

- sometimes quite noisy (I was living on the ground floor, too close to the road and overall sound isolation of the room could have been better) - no one cleaned my room during 2 days stay - beach is mostly desert, great for locals, but if you come for one day - not so comfortable- I didn’t see any areas with sun beds etc - breakfast is ok, but its not a buffet, many things included in “Turkish breakfast” on the menu I can’t eat (although itself it is quite big and diverse, surely many ppl would love it) - drinking water could be more accessible - I had to pay for every bottle, this is crazy - taxi price is ridiculously high especially on the way back, but on your way there - also take care - my taxi driver fooled me to pay twice as more, they have no right to do it

The place is not far from the airport and the quality is much better than airport hotel. The hotel provides paid transfer, which is very comfy. The food was amazing. The room was spacious and well furnished. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, which was very nice for my daughter. She enjoyed this break before the next flight. It was nice stroll in the evening along the sea, they have very beautiful promenade.

The service in the restaurant is slow. Waiters practically don't speak English. We had to wait our breakfast for 50 minutes after we ordered. Some people received their food faster than us, even though they arrived much later. At the end we were hungry and in a rush, trying to eat fast and not to be late in the airport. And I was disturbed by this fact. All the rest is really good.

The breakfast was great and all meals we ordered in the restaurant were very good value for money and very tasty. The accommodation was spacious and extremely clean. We would not hesitate to stay at MQ Hotel again. Fantastic stopover if you have a big flight the next day. The pool was beautiful and clean. All staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Special mention to Roshen on the front reception desk. What a pleasant staff member, but in saying that they were all lovely from the cleaner to the restaurant staff, bell boy and other staff on front desk. Do not hesitate to book here. Nothing comes to mind

1. Location. 25 min to IST Airport with a brand new own transfer (MB Vito). 2. Sea side 1st line and possibility to swim in the Black see, as well as in the hotel pool. There is a SPA also but we didn’t use it 3. Hotel and its rooms have new repair, air conditioner worked very well, everywhere were very clean. Hotel is much better than you can see in photos. 4. Staff is very friendly and fast in their reaction, we’re ready to help 5. Next time will use it again

1. Room was on the road and it was a bit noisy in the night 2. Breakfast was with local food and good enough, but coffee was given in paper cups - a bit strange 3. Beach was a bit duty

The hotel is situated just opposite the beach in a very quiet area. Unfortunately I did not have time to explore more. From the very first minute you feel like at home! Recep was very welcoming and attentive, offered room upgrade that I happily agreed too. This is my second visit and Recep is very helpful all the time! Room is great- everything is brand new and very clean! By my favourite place there is SPA thanks to the great therapist Olga! To be honest, she is one of the reasons why I came back the second time.tThe food was great too.

It’s not even a negative comment, just a suggestion regarding selection of tea/ coffee in the room. Maybe add black instant coffee rather than with sugar and milk. But saying that, room service is available and I am sure they will bring a cup of coffee immediately.

The location is awesome for walking or cycling along the beach (concrete path). The hotel is clean with a pool (not heated) . I liked the breakfast there was a vast selection on the turkish breakfast. The spa with sauna, Turkish baths (hot stone), and steam room was free and fabulous. They were clean and provided an excellent activity for my stay between flights.

The bathroom had an odour- it was not outside the bathroom. May relate to water quality and cannot be rectified.

We have stayed here before and like both the hotel and the location. The municipality has done a lot of work in the last six months or so since we visited before and there are now flowerbeds on the sea front and quite a lot of tidying-up on the far side of the road. There are lots of nice food options around and the hotel does a god breakfast. The pool is lovely and the rooms with sea view very attractive (nice flooring, good air con, quality decoration). It is a great place to decompress between flights and much nicer than the hotels nearer the airport.

Prices in the summer are rather steep by Turkish standards, though no more than in a major Western European city. While this isn't at all the hotel's fault, there are some rather brash guests, e.g. one who spent an entire half-an-hour bellowing into his mobile phone by hte pool. Had he not realised the 80s ended 35 years ago?

I really liked this hotel. The location is great - not far from the airport (I only stayed for one night stopover), across the road from the sea. The staff were particularly welcoming and friendly. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. I could open the French window for fresh air (important to me). Dinner in the restaurant was ok and breakfast was very good. The hotel offers free pool, spa and sauna though I did not use any of those facilities.

The hotel transport from the airport (30 Euros each way) did not work well when I arrived. The driver was not at the meeting point and I did not know whether or how long to wait (quite a long time, as it turned out). The journey back to the airport was smooth although the smell of smoke in the car was overwhelming. (I am not usually fussy about smoke.) Those are my only complaints about a very pleasant stay.

The receptionist and all hotel staff who made our check in experience a real pleasure. The hotel is nicely designed and everything functions perfectly. The location was beautiful (except that we arrived on a stormy, rainy day therefore the sea was rough, thus we were not able to enjoy a walk along the beach.) It took half an hour to ride to and from the airport from the hotel. We got a complimentary fruit platter which we much appreciated. The room is equipped with both a wall radiator and an air-conditioner (both heat and cold). Bed was comfortable. Shower room was sufficiently equipped. All in all we were happy to be here, and it was a pity that it was only a short stay.
