Very lovely hotel in rural location, but just 20 min from the airport. Beautiful sea view, nice pool, restaurant on site. Very spacious room! Perfect for long layover between flights. And price is great, even with the transfer still cheaper than terminal hotel option, but much better room and overall experience. Would definitely come back on our next travel.

funny, but pillows were very tall. never seen such pillows before (even though i am side sleeper and usually prefer relatively tall pillows). would be great to have two options in the room. did not bother me too much though, ended up sleeping without pillow.

This is a right choice if you have your connection flight through Istanbul and don't want to loose your time in traffic jams. It takes not more than 20 minutes to get to the hotel and the same time to get back to the airport. Please mind It is not Istanbul as it is, rather a suburb, but still I have spent absoutely great time in a cozy room with a balcony and a sea view. It was rather cold in April to try their swimming pool but a great Turkish breakfast with a view to your yard with a swimming pool and sweet staff was great. After good rest, refreshed and rebooted I was absolutely ready to continue my long trip. Cok tsskr ederim, Treekos Suite Hotel!!

It is a great hotel for an overnight stay when transferring via Istanbul. It is a very spacious room, with nice caring staff, a pool for kids to play.

It was a bit weird to have a bathtub in the middle of the room. I don't undersstand this fashion in the hotels to place it there.

- We were offered a room upgrade. One room featured a bathtub placed directly in the room near the window, while the other had a balcony. Both rooms boasted stunning sea views and were spacious. - Bottled water was provided in the rooms, along with tea bags, instant coffee, and a kettle. Other beverages were available at an additional cost. The bathroom amenities were excellent, and the room included a robe, slippers, and a hairdryer. - The outdoor dining area was well-equipped, with tables available both in an enclosed space featuring a fireplace and gas heaters, as well as outside, which was especially enjoyable in good weather. - There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, with orders available until 10 PM. The pricing was quite reasonable. - A well-maintained seaside promenade, ideal for a stroll, was just a 10-minute walk away. - Excellent soundproofing ensured that we didn’t hear airplanes or even roosters.

- The mattress was extremely soft, almost like sinking into it, which may not suit everyone’s preference. - The pillows were very firm, and it would be nice to have a selection of pillows with different fillings or softness levels. - Breakfast was served as a fixed portion, not a buffet or à la carte. Only one pre-selected option was provided, and we had to pay an additional $15 to order an omelet and dessert to go with our tea.

I think I caught the place as it was waking up for summer, but that wasn't a problem. The hotel is located "up the hill" from the fishing harbour and main public beach of Kara Burun, and is about a 15 minute walk to the other, long beach west of the headland which gives the village its name (and which also requires a fairly steep descent & ascent). Convenience stores, eating places, a bakery and a tekel shop are within a five minute walk. And if going to the beach is too hard, there's a lovely sunlit pool of good size, surrounded by sunbeds. And a bar and restaurant. The latter taps into local eating places for meals which are very rapidly delivered. The kitchen may be staffed for "the season", but I don't know for sure. I've gotten into the habit of spending a few days in Kara Burun when travelling though IST International, as it's close to the airport and such a relaxing place to stay. With spacious, well appointed rooms, strong Wifi and good plumbing, and friendly staff eager to please, Treekos is probably the best of the places I've stayed so far in this charmingly laid-back, outer corner of Istanbul.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s a lovely place, and on a weekday morning, it took us about 25 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the pool was great, and the beach is within walking distance. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

When we arrived on Sunday, it was the weekend and many locals were heading to the beach, so it took us around 50 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport due to traffic (we used Uber). For our return to the airport, we booked a transfer through the hotel for 40 euros. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the van wasn’t working, and it was very hot outside. There was only a small window in the passenger seat area, so we couldn’t get any fresh air inside. The ride was especially uncomfortable for my wife and our little daughter. This transfer didn’t meet our expectations and wasn’t worth the price.

We had a fantastic stay at Istanbul Airport Treekos Suite Hotel! The room was absolutely perfect — clean, spacious, very comfortable, with a great shower and everything we needed. The peaceful silence of the hotel was such a welcome change after the busy days of travelling. The location near the beach made it an ideal spot to unwind and recharge. The atmosphere was so relaxing that it truly allowed us to detach from the hustle and bustle. A special mention to the staff — they were simply amazing! The kindest and most helpful team we have come across in all our travels. Every interaction was warm and welcoming, and they truly made us feel at home (we had an early flight on our last day, and made sure to pack us a brekkie to go, as we missed the breakfast window). We were travelling as a couple, and everything about the hotel was perfect for us. The food at the restaurant was also outstanding — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays we’ve had. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return next time we are in Istanbul!

Nothing worth mentioning, really. There was an issue with the door card, but it was promptly fixed by a friendly staff member (I cannot think of anything else, and it was not even a problem).

Very cozy hotel in 20min from the airport. They have lovely garden, swimming pool, nice restaurant. After the flight we felt very relaxed there. Room was very convenient, AC, nice view, clean, well designed rooms. Helpful staff Restaurant closes at 21.00 but you can order tasty pizza any time. Guys order a taxi both ways if you need. It was very convenient. If you are traveling with kids, there is a good playground on the shore, 7 minutes down to the see. Playground is great but if you are limited in time I would recommend staying in the hotel as a hotel is much better than surroundings.

We loved everything about the hotel. The only thing I'm thinking about is the door to the bathroom, it could close more easily. But it didn't disturb us. There is no lift, staff helps to bring the bags, but if you have some problems with using the ladder it would not suit you. They have rooms on the ground floor

Had a 19hr layover and decided to stay here for the peace and quiet.Couldn't do a city like Istanbul justice in the time available so opted to stay in the other direction. This was an ideal base. Karaburum is 20mins from the airport, on the coast and a nice area to chill and walk on the beach. Treekos Suites is two adjacent buildings with a pool and a terrace blending them together. It feels small but not too small. The team are all friendly and look after you and we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Check in during the middle of the night was easy. Samir was friendly and welcoming and provided excellent service throughout our whole stay. He even arranged a late check out for us the next day. Thank you Samir!

Only small things - the curtain was hanging off its runner so we couldn't make the room dark and the pillows were too fat to be comfy. Nothing major!

Nice staff and allowed us a late checkout. A good brekkie. Cute hotel dog! Beach close by with playground and exercise equipment. Pleasant to walk around and to visit the sea terrace and lookout. Otherwise not much else to do/see. Was okay for a night in transit.

Obviously a lot of plane noise even in the wee hours. The return taxi to the airport cost twice as much as the taxi from the airport (£19 versus £11) Karaburun was quite deserted. Didn’t find anywhere for a decent coffee and airport prices were more of a rip off than England!
