as a frequent traveler to Istanbul this stay was the most amazing and will be the unforgettable one, a special thanks to Hande Özdemir from guest experience team who did an amazing job to make this unforgettable experience with my 10th anniversary from the moment we booked until we left the hotel, we would like to thank her for all the extra services, care and follow up she provided to delight us. for Istanbul I usually stay in Intercontinental hotel in Taksim, but this has became my new favorite hotel, the location in Atakoy in front of the sea is amazing the quietness and peace in the area is great and the view is fabulous, having the market area nearby right across the street of the hotel is also a huge plus. The food is great and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, everything was delicious and perfect. The staff are amazing, a very friendly staff, everyone would like to help with a beautiful smile on their faces. as a manager who worked 15 years in airline and aviation and know about hospitality and tourism standards and as frequent traveler who went to many hotels in different countries to compare I really recommend Sheraton Atakoy Hotel, the service and quality they provide you for the decent prices range you pay for is a great deal, 10/10 experience. it is a temporary small issue that is not controlled by the hotel, but the constructions nearby is a little bit annoying when moving in and out the hotel.

We are a family of 3 who travel frequently, and Sheraton Ataköy Istanbul has truly become our home away from home. Every time we visit Istanbul, this is the only place we choose to stay. The warmth and hospitality we receive make every trip special. A special thank you to Sertac, the amazing Guest Relations Manager, who always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. One of the absolute highlights of the hotel is its fantastic restaurant. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the service from Tolga and Muhammet has been exceptional. Their friendly and professional approach made our dining experiences unforgettable. We can’t recommend Sheraton Ataköy enough—it’s the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and outstanding service.

There were dirty spots on the carpet and sofa needs cleaning. TV requires a replacement to something more modern, it's a Youtube era guys! Cable TV with local channels is not really something that visitors would want to see. Water controls in shower are very unintuitive - you'll need time to figure out how to use it. Bath's water stopper (or whatever you call it) was broken and prevented the water flushing out. We had to call a staff member to fix it.

The hotel left a great impression thanks to the girl Ele Koyun. When checking into the room, we had some problems, which Ela quickly solved by offering us a room of a higher category. Thanks to this, our opinion about the hotel changed for the better, and we extended our stay for another 5 days! Ela really knows how to resolve conflict situations and does everything to ensure that the guest is satisfied. I would like to separately note the wonderful club lounge on the 24th floor. Great view and delicious snacks. The girls Fahriye and Ece are very welcoming and attentive to the guests!

The hotel is certainly a 5 star, we arrived late at night, the staff was excelent at the reception and helped us check-in fast and even offered us an upgraded room, bigger (we were 3 persons, did not fit in the first room). The view over the sea from 19th floor is quite spectacular. The breakfast is good, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, all kinds of sweets, decent coffee (but no pork at all, understandable). The pool is big, clean and plenty of sun loungers, towels… the pool bar offers a decent meal and beverages. There are also very close, walking distance various other restaurants and even a supermarket. Also the metro station is right next to the hotel, but we did not used the metro, because the taxis and uber is very convenient and cheap. The staff is very nice, speaks good english and helpful with everything you need. I want to thank the lady at the reception who was very kind and let us stay an extra 2 hours in the day of departure (the flight was in the evening).

The furniture is a bit old, the rooms in general are a bit shabby, it deserves a refresh, some new and modern appearance, because it has potential to be better. Some parts of the hotel were dirty (some secondary stairs from restaurant to the pool), the hallway on 19th floor one day, then was cleaned). The pillows are huge and very hard, hurt our necks … please put some more soft and small… it’s important for a good rest. One evening a guest on the same floor with us smoked on the hallway, it was horrible, the smell was everywhere… I wonder if you have working smoke detectors? Also, the surrounding area it’s not friendly for walks beside the sea… no beach, no promenade.. it’s frustrating to be so close to the sea and never enjoy it.

Best area of Istanbul to spent time for leisure and family vacation. Lots and lots of places to try local and true authentic Turkish cuisines. Highly recommended hotel for your stay because of the staff , Ms. Ipek Gunduz ( Guest relations)and staff helped me and my family so much that we would always remember this visit to Istanbul. She out of courtesy upgraded our stay from seperate king rooms to family connected rooms so we can stay together and look after the kids while staying at the hotel. Ipek also got us a complimentary breakfast for the duration of our stay which was the best part of the trip. Breakfast buffet is something you should not miss while staying at Sheraton Atakoy. Would definitely come here again and again.

I had an absolutely perfect experience. Everything was amazing, from the beautiful surroundings to the comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The highlight of my stay was the incredible staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and super helpful throughout my visit. I want to especially mention Mr. Sertaç, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. His professionalism and warm attitude truly made my stay unforgettable. I would also like to thank Ms. İpek and Ms. Fahriye Özdemir, who were both extremely friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a flawless and memorable experience. I can’t wait to come back!

I loved the beautiful atrium and the awesome water views from my room and different points in the hotel. The room was spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. I enjoyed eating at the different restaurants in the hotel. The staff was kind and Ceřen at the front desk was extremely accommodating! I ended up having an unexpected surgery during my stay. The hotel room very good care of me and made sure I had everything I needed while I rested. I am so grateful! I really enjoyed waking up to the sea and seeing the ships each morning. That brought me so much peace and joy! I am also very grateful that the staff let me rest while I was healing from my surgery. You all were fantastic!

The hotel met all expectations thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the facilities. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The bed is very comfortable, and the outdoor pool is good. The hotel is about 10 kilometers from the city center, which makes it more pleasant and cooler in the summer, especially since you can enjoy a swim in the pool. If you want to explore the city, good transportation planning is necessary due to heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon hours. Everything we asked from the staff— even if it may not have been part of the standard service — they were happy to provide. The only downside is that the furniture is visibly in need of renovation.
