We had the pleasure of staying at Siesta Hotel Bakırköy, and our experience was truly memorable, thanks to the outstanding staff and the comfort of the hotel. While our stay started with a small hiccup, it was quickly turned into an opportunity for exceptional service. When we checked in late night, we noticed we had been mistakenly assigned an economy room instead of the standard room we had booked. We approached the reception the next morning, and this is where Mr. Alper’s exceptional dedication to guest satisfaction came into play. He not only corrected the error but went above and beyond by upgrading us to a spacious suite with a king-size bed and a kitchen. This gesture made a huge difference for us, as it allowed us to prepare breakfast since the hotel’s restaurant was temporarily closed for maintenance/construction. The suite was both comfortable and well-equipped, adding a special touch to our stay. The hotel’s location was also perfect - central and convenient for exploring the area. A special mention also goes to Mr. Serdar from the housekeeping staff. His attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a spotless room were incredible. Every day, he ensured our suite was immaculate and welcoming, which made us feel truly cared for. While the absence of the hotel breakfast could have been a downside, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, coupled with the comfort of the upgraded suite, turned this into a non-issue for us. Siesta Hotel Bakırköy offers more than just a place to stay - it provides genuine hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel, and we want to extend our deepest thanks to Mr. Alper and Mr. Serdar for their outstanding efforts in making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

Basically, everything. It's near shops, mall, marmaray bakirkoy, etc. Wasn't a noisy neighbourhood. Safe place to go even at night as the streets are well lit. Staff were amazing and very helpful from reception to housekeeping. Worth every penny and will definitely be going back to this hotel when I get back to visit Istanbul.

Some minor things need to be improved, like the heater wasn't working properly in my room. They asked me to use the aircon, but it still wasn't making the room warm enough. The slippers are very flimsy, so I wasn't able to use them. Not enough hangers. The jacuzzi should have floor mats near them. No bathrobe.

our stay of 2 weeks in Siesta Hotel Bakirköy made our holiday both relaxed and gave us a wonderful feeling of home. We have not regretted a single day of choosing this hotel. the hotel is very clean and with lots of cupboard space. the mini fridge was very useful for us. you hear no noise from outside and this I think is due to the suitable location of the hotel. room cleaning comes every single day. the reception was available all the time. very nice and helpful staff. Bakirköy Metro is only 2 minutes away. many restaurants and cafes located nearby. I strongly recommend Siesta Hotel Bakirköy because they take the customer's wishes seriously and I will definitely come back here next time. Thank you very much Siesta Hotel Bakirköy ♥️

Hotel is new and comfortable, staf is nice they were interested with my everything. Rooms are clean and spacious. I want to come back with my wife again.

I stayed at Siesta Hotel for 10 days during my recovery from nose surgery, as I needed to be in Istanbul until my final doctor’s appointment. The hotel is very well-located in Bakırköy, just a 1-minute walk from the train station and close to local shops, making it very convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained.

I wouldn’t recommend it for post-surgery stays that require a specific healing environment. The room lacked proper air circulation, as there were no windows to open. The heating system caused swelling and inflammation in my case, and while the staff kindly suggested using the AC, it wasn’t ideal for my needs either. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for regular stays or city visits, but if you have specific medical requirements, consider your needs carefully.

I had a fantastic 9-day stay at this hotel. The service was excellent. The staff were always kind, understanding and genuinely willing to help. The location couldn’t be better: just a 2-minute walk to the train station, surrounded by shops, pharmacies, and restaurants. It’s also close to several shopping malls, which was so convenient. The room I stayed in was wonderful very quiet, with windows with plenty of natural light. It was always warm and cozy, and I never felt cold during my stay. The cleaning staff did an amazing job, coming every morning to clean the room and restock all the essentials. I also had work in the area, and this hotel was perfectly located for my needs. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this part of the city.

Location, calm, spacious, good shopping area and transportation options. Friendly staff. Good shower with hot water and strong water flow. Overall clean rooms, sheets and towels.

Didn’t like the room we received this time (second stay). Very bad view to backyard just looking at a building. Some basic kitchen utensils were not available in the king suite (frying pan and cups). Fridge was very dirty. Had to clean it very well and wash the dishes. Bed is very hard. TV is very small. Shower drain very noisy. Still no breakfast.

A reasonably priced option with a great location. Me and my wife stayed here for 10 days at the beginning of the low season in mid September. The hotel is fairly new, the location is excellent. A very frequent rail service 30 minutes from central Istanbul is a 3 minute walk from location. Plenty of shops, cafes and amenities within a 15 minute walk. Staff were generally polite, helpful and accommodating. The quality of the English spoken by staff varies, with some being excellent and others capable of simple conversations - needs were always met, but occasional difficulty getting the message across, not a huge issue. The cleanliness of rooms was excellent, the room was spotless every time we returned from a day out. We were never disturbed by cleaners even on days we had a late start, and no items were accidentally thrown out. Facilities are great too. We had a standard double room with a great shower, comfortable bed a small TV with Netflix available and a small wardrobe. My only gripes were somewhere to hang long dresses or jackets would be good - my wife ended up using the bathroom towel hooks for her dresses because the wardrobe isn't tall enough for them to hang free. The pillows are oddly thick also, found getting my head comfortable awkward. We booked via Booking.com and breakfast was included in the price of our stay, but when we arrived we were told there was no facility to provide this, but honoured the agreement by having breakfast brought in from a local restaurant each morning. The breakfast was not bad, traditional Turkish breakfast of bread, various cheeses, salad, luncheon meat and a boiled egg most days. There were a few occasions where we asked the breakfast to be delivered at slightly earlier or later times the night before and I don't think the request was relayed to morning teams which led to a few surprise awakenings by a delivery driver which wasn't ideal. Staff organised airport pickup and drop off which was convenient.

The hotel is really new and exceptionally clean,with daily room service and 24h reception.The location is quiet but next to one of the main public transport line so it was very easy to get around.The area nearby isn’t touristy so it is cheaper foodwise and offers good malls and supermarkets.

The hotel was absolutely lovely,the only thing I am not so sure about was the area. The public transport,always crammed,can become really exhausting and you spend a lot of time in it. Plus,as vegetarian,I didn’t have many food restaurant options around the hotel so I spent even more time in the train just to get a meal.
