I initially expected my room to be quite small, but to my pleasant surprise, it was actually more spacious than I anticipated. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just an 8-10 minute walk from the vibrant Taksim Square, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood that offers a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Around the area, you'll find mini-groceries, and there's a 24/7 restaurant only a 3-minute walk away. Specialty shops and excellent restaurants are also within close proximity, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local culture. What truly made my stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service. From the moment I arrived until my departure, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. They were incredibly accommodating, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable, and offering great recommendations for things to see and do. They even remembered my birthday, which added a special personal touch to my stay. As for breakfast, it was simply amazing! The variety and quality of the spread were fantastic, and the portions were so generous that I couldn't possibly finish everything. It was the perfect way to start each day. One thing to note is that the hotel is located on an uphill incline, so be prepared for a bit of a hike when walking back. But honestly,the peaceful surroundings more than make up for it! All in all, my stay was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of great service, ideal location, and comfortable accommodations truly made this a memorable trip.

One small downside I encountered was that the air conditioning control was set to lock mode, which made it difficult to adjust the temperature. During the middle of the day, especially in the afternoon, the room would get a bit warm. It would have been great to have more control over the temperature for added comfort, but aside from that, everything else was perfect.

- the room is much smaller than it's stated on Booking (it's definitely not 38m2) - we requested an extra bed for our son and extra bed was approved before we arrived, however we got child's crib which is much smaller. Because of this our son had to sleep with us - balcony door couldn't be closed and you need to lock them in order to close them. Even if you lock them, they are not soundproof and you can hear the wind coming through and the noise from the street - there is no sofa bed in the room as it's stated on Booking

Very friendly team at the hotel, the breakfast is amazing - turn up hungry as you get a LOT of extras alongside the eggs, all of which is delicious and fresh! Hotel is well equipped in the rooms, I had a balcony room with views of the city. Was during Ramadan so be prepared for early morning calls for prayer. A nice area of town as well, school nearby, friendly locals, local shops and restaurants were 40% cheaper than in the tourist spots for the same food.

Nothing, was a very pleasant stay, and would come back to the hotel with the family. It's in a hilly region so be aware of this if you have young family or have mobility issues

Our stay at the Fox Hotel was truly exceptional. Communication with the professional and warm-hearted staff was efficient and smooth. Moreover, the presentation and selection of the breakfast provided were beyond expression.

A petit, well situated hotel, walking distance to main areas. The hotel is cosy and well maintained. The atmosphere casual and comfortable. Coffee and Tea available 24/7. Staff were exceptional, a shout out to Taner Can Kirik, for his hospitality and kind personality, allways eager to help in all of my queries and the young female manager who was willing to give me her coat on a cold day, a gesture of honest kindness, a gesture I will never forget. Breakfast is more than ample and the breakfast team quick to all your needs. The "Housekeeping" lady kept my room clean and tidy every day and worked tirelessly throughout the floors. It's situated off main road on a steep hill, so if you have mobility issues, this may not be appropriate, but the area is safe to walk around. If I had to return I'd have no hesitation to stay at The FOX Hotel.

The hotel itself is absolutely chic, clean, and professional, with a modern design that made me feel right at home. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the level of care that went into everything from the decor to the amenities provided in the room. It's clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a high standard of excellence. One of the best things about the Fox Hotels is its location. It's situated in a quiet area away from the noisy streets, yet still conveniently close to all the top tourist destinations. Whether you're looking to explore the city or just relax in a peaceful environment, this hotel has got you covered. Literally nothing.

This is a small hotel a little off the beaten track about 15 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Taksim Square. The walk up to the main road is fine, not too steep or dark. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enormous and served to you rather than buffet. Wifi is good. Members of staff are a great asset, they are friendly, kind and very helpful. I was aware that some guests were recovering from cosmetic surgery. I think this hotel would be ideal for this as guests are well cared for.

No English speaking TV channel (not that I could find!).

The hotel is so cozy and cute very clean the staff are just I can’t describe how helpful they are and they keep helping us in everything the hotel room is perfect for families the breakfast is so delicious Emilio , Max , Negm El Deen Are amazing and the hotel manager is amazing bushra so welcoming keep asking us if anything is missing if all is good. Seriously it’s like Home ❤️

I had a car rent so maybe the only thing will be that would be good if they have a parking . And a smart tv in the room ,

Room as booked with a nice big terrace and great view. Very clean, quiet with good AC. Incredible breakfast. Staff was excellent being attentive to needs and quickly provided information and resolving any minor concerns. Very close to Taksim Square (18 minute walk) and many eating establishments.

A bit of a distance from the mosque area in old town but public transportation were close by. Some people made a mountain out of a mole hill regarding the 1/2 block slope from the hotel to the Main Street. We did not find the slope a problem.
