The staff is really friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean The water pressure in the shower was good The breakfast is pre established with eggs options to choose from. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from main landmarks. So must of the times you need to take a taxi. Try DONER LAB restaurant just 2 blocks away. You won’t regret it.

I would like to personally thank the lobby administrators for their warmth and professionalism, which made us feel so welcome. Thank you also for making our stay truly wonderful. You are the best assistants anyone could ask for. It was a pleasure to contact you at various times throughout the day — you were always kind, attentive, and helpful, whether arranging transfers or assisting us with our questions. A special thank you to Najim, Maks, and the two ladies — you made our impression of Istanbul even more colorful and memorable. The music in the lobby was also perfect at any time of the day. If I return to Istanbul, I would gladly choose your hotel again, and one of the biggest reasons for that would be the outstanding administrators and the excellent daily cleaning service.

Hotel was near Taksim square good location, there are many restaurants and stores around hotel. Also bus station is near. Staff were great, very nice , helpful and friendly, especially girl named Ksenia on the reception, she made our stay nicer. Hotel was clean , towels , and sheets changed daily, and room cleaning also. Breakfast was alright, and you have free water, tea, and cofee to make in the lobby, and that's great. I recommend this hotel if you need to stay in this area.

Entrance to hotel is on steep street, for me it was not that bad, but for some elderly people it could be a little problem.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and cleaned daily, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was a real highlight—beautifully served, not self-service, with a complete and generous spread including everything from cakes and cookies to fruits, jams, and breads. You could also order any kind of eggs, like omelets or scrambled, freshly prepared just for you.

The alley in front of the hotel was quite steep, which could be difficult for older guests. Also, the balcony didn’t have any chairs as shown in the photos, which was disappointing since that was one of the reasons we booked the room.

My stay at The Fox was nothing short of exceptional! For the price, I expected a decent experience, but this hotel delivered far beyond my expectations, offering incredible value for money. Every aspect of the stay felt like a treat, from check-in to checkout. The breakfast was truly fabulous—a highlight of the trip! The buffet was packed with fresh options, made-to-order omelets, local cheeses, and vibrant fruit platters. The coffee was top-notch, and there were plenty of choices for different diets. It rivaled some of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel genuinely welcome. The room was spotless, cozy, and had thoughtful touches like complimentary water and a comfy bed. The Fox is a gem for anyone seeking quality at an amazing price. I’d recommend it to everyone and can’t wait to return!

I initially expected my room to be quite small, but to my pleasant surprise, it was actually more spacious than I anticipated. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just an 8-10 minute walk from the vibrant Taksim Square, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood that offers a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Around the area, you'll find mini-groceries, and there's a 24/7 restaurant only a 3-minute walk away. Specialty shops and excellent restaurants are also within close proximity, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local culture. What truly made my stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service. From the moment I arrived until my departure, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. They were incredibly accommodating, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable, and offering great recommendations for things to see and do. They even remembered my birthday, which added a special personal touch to my stay. As for breakfast, it was simply amazing! The variety and quality of the spread were fantastic, and the portions were so generous that I couldn't possibly finish everything. It was the perfect way to start each day. One thing to note is that the hotel is located on an uphill incline, so be prepared for a bit of a hike when walking back. But honestly,the peaceful surroundings more than make up for it! All in all, my stay was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of great service, ideal location, and comfortable accommodations truly made this a memorable trip.

One small downside I encountered was that the air conditioning control was set to lock mode, which made it difficult to adjust the temperature. During the middle of the day, especially in the afternoon, the room would get a bit warm. It would have been great to have more control over the temperature for added comfort, but aside from that, everything else was perfect.

- the room is much smaller than it's stated on Booking (it's definitely not 38m2) - we requested an extra bed for our son and extra bed was approved before we arrived, however we got child's crib which is much smaller. Because of this our son had to sleep with us - balcony door couldn't be closed and you need to lock them in order to close them. Even if you lock them, they are not soundproof and you can hear the wind coming through and the noise from the street - there is no sofa bed in the room as it's stated on Booking

Very friendly team at the hotel, the breakfast is amazing - turn up hungry as you get a LOT of extras alongside the eggs, all of which is delicious and fresh! Hotel is well equipped in the rooms, I had a balcony room with views of the city. Was during Ramadan so be prepared for early morning calls for prayer. A nice area of town as well, school nearby, friendly locals, local shops and restaurants were 40% cheaper than in the tourist spots for the same food.

Nothing, was a very pleasant stay, and would come back to the hotel with the family. It's in a hilly region so be aware of this if you have young family or have mobility issues
