It was very nice experience staying at The Y Istanbul suites, very spacious and clean apartments perfect to stay with family. The host Mr. Riza was very supportive whenever you need anything. WiFi was very fast. Location is just steps away from Taksim square. Swimming pool , sauna , Gym & Parking were very useful. I would definitely recommend to stay during your trip to Istanbul.

This apartment is perfectly situated near Taksim Square, metro, and buses, though navigating the steep, narrow street might be a bit of an adventure, especially for older folks. Despite that, it's got everything you need for a short stay, including onsite laundry (for a fee). Just a heads up, you'll need to bring your own dishwasher tablets, but no worries, the kitchen has the basics covered for whipping up simple meals. The bed is super comfy, although the pillows were a tad too bulky at first—luckily, the staff were quick to swap them out for ones we liked better. Our balcony faced the street, so it got a bit noisy, but those blackout curtains saved the day for some quality shut-eye. As for entertainment, the smart TV's got Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Youtube, but not much else. No HDMI cable in sight, but we found one at a nearby shop near Galata Tower for a steal. We also had the chance to enjoy the pool and sauna once during our stay, and they were both quite nice. However, it's worth noting that they're only accessible from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Very nice building, well maintained. The apartment is nicely furnished and the kitchen well equipped. We did not have a toaster when we arrived, but when requested, they brought in one right away. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the air conditioning was making the room as cool as we wanted. There are a couple of small stores for basic necessities next to the hotel and there is a bit larger store Carrefour, at about 5 minutes walking uphill. On the way there, there are also a couple of small coffee shops and a small restaurant with Turkish food. We didn’t check that out but we ate quite a few times at another one called Damak a little further from the larger grocery store situated on the main street. The food was delicious and the place clean and the price was very good. The staff was nice and didn’t overcharged us. Across the street from it there is a Starbucks and some nice looking restaurant patios. There is a small buffet style restaurant that is open for breakfast only right outside of the hotel. We couldn’t find anything of interest- restaurants or places worth visiting downhill from the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance (uphill again) to Taksim Square. That way is much better if you want to reach the main street as the pavement is intact.

We were told that we have to buy toilet paper and garbage bags if we need more than the one piece provided initially, but they offered to give us one more toilet paper roll “if it’s an emergency”. That was unexpected. Also you may need to pay for cleaning 10 or 15 euros, depending of what you ask. Also, at night, you may be hearing noise from outside but we came prepared with ear plugs.

Every thing was good about this hotel, spacious apartment and super clean, amazingly friendly staff, 10-15mins walk to Taksim Square, ther is a mini market(small grocery shop) right opposite the building, would definitely stay there again.

The only thing which caused a bit of inconvenience to us was when we ordered bath towels they said the housekeeping closes at 6pm and opens at 9am, so if you’re thinking of having a shower after or before those hours it will be a bit difficult 🙂

You have a free underground parking spot, which is better than having free parking on the crowded streets of the city. The apartment is big, suitable for a couple or a family with kids, you have a kitchen and fridge to put the food and groceries and a big balcony. The flat is near Taksim square (10 minutes by foot) where you have subway, funicular and tramway stations and to Istiklal bd. where you have a lot of shops and restaurants.

The apartment needs a better cleaning and more bathroom supplies (shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, etc), accordingly to the number of guests and the period they stay in the apartment. The location is near Taksim, but the street is very steep, you don't have a sidewalk and it could be a difficult climb for an older person or for someone with a stroller for kids.

I loved my stay in this appartement everything was lovely and especially the staff ridwan and ali they made sure we were very comfortable. I definitely recommend.

The Staff were very friendly and they actually allowed us for the late check out. Swimming pool and Sana, Very nice setup. The lovely view to the town especially at night. clean corridors and lovely interior design.

The Hotel is actually located in an extremely hilly location and you can't just pop out and walk around the hotel especially if you have elderly people with you. so you end up getting the taxi anywhere you are planning to go. which is expensive. The Steam room was not working. some minor property repair should have been done such as moving staircase hand rail or stiff shower valve.

The apartment complex is situated near Taxim square/metro. We were in a nice 2store apartment. Excellent city view! There is a small but functional gym, enough for jogging or keeping fit. A swimming pool is open except Monday. It's a good place for a family relax, for fun, hardly to use for real swimming-too small. Security desk is 24 hours. A really welcoming and helpful manager at the reception. Migros or Carrefour is about 600m in the opposite side from taxim. A lot of shops around. The smallest ones are just 100m upper or down from the block.-to buy water etc. The best way to go to Taxim on foot is through Elysium Hotel. There are a lot of hills as in the most of city. Be fit or use taxi. About 20 min on foot to get to the harbor if you are going to Adalar islands or just to the Asian city part. From taxim metro station it is easy to go to Belgrade Forest, out of heat, or to old Rome part of the city.

Sometimes neighbors were too loud in the evening, but it's not always and wasn't a problem

The appartment was even better than in the pictures, very spacious and comfortable, with a nice view and VERY CLEAN, in a new modern building. It was adequately equipped and the WiFi was fast. The rest of the facilities were very good and clean (indoors swimming pool, gym etc). There is safe underground GARAGE for the car. The place is very safe, there is 24/7 security in the building. The area is also ideal, very safe, a short walk (about 10') from Taksim Square and the metro, we went to most places by foot. The people managing the property were really very nice and friendly and communication was excellent! I definitely recommend it and I would prefer it again in my future visits to Istanbul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Y Istanbul Suites. The staff provided prompt and efficient communication from the booking process throughout our entire stay even about our late night check-in. The facilities were perfect for a week stay, with clean and well-equipped kitchens. The air conditioning in the rooms was a lifesaver! The reception and night staff were incredibly professional and helpful. They even assisted us in coordinating transportation, which was a huge plus. Taksim Square is a short, walkable distance away – about 7-10 minutes.

However, it's important to note that the surrounding streets are hilly, which might be challenging for some, especially older guests, if they choose to walk and not to take a taxi.
