Many thanks to Mr. Ahmed, he helped me a lot. He personally wrote the direction to must see places and gave. I was very skeptical about the place and the hostel but I was totally wrong…. Hostel is perfect and I highly recommend. I will come back here for sure. Breakfast is awesome here.. clean toilet rooms and shower rooms. Everybody will get personal locker which is highlight. Dormitory is very neat and lucky I met nice people from various places. Staffs are so helpful and polite. Thanks so very much.

First and foremost thanks to all staff {top to bottom} they were great help, always smiling & professional. Great location close to Taksim square,{7-10 min walk} near by metro stations to go old city , Istanbul airport direct shuttles station (Havaist buses) nearby. Reasonable Breakfast included Overall, good facilities in the rooms (nice lockers with code). Beautiful covered terrace { breakfast area too} easy to meet other people, different events are organised often during the evenings. All in all value for money. would definitely recommend this hostel.

Very basic breakfast...… Lockers with code makes lot of noise which is irritating and disturbing Make parties until late night (loud music, a lot of noise). Good for some bad for some, I'm ok with it. Little hard to find the hostel.{inside the main road}.

Thank you for an amazing week in Wabi Sabi hostels!🫶🏻 Our day started on the roof top with Mira and her delicious breakfasts and ended also in the roof top but with Ozan and his unforgivable parties.🍹 On the reception there were Mert, Zehra and Mert who were always ready to help and to play chess with me.🔥 Each floor of the hostel has all the amenities. My room was tiny but comfortable - with the locker, private curtains, socket and shelves.🤩 The location is nice, encourages you to walk and explore Istanbul streets. Near you can find Taksim square and Istiklal street (where shopping is much better than in Grand bazar).🛍 Thanks a lot, see you!💖 Best regards, Nika.

Front door is heavy😆

The Hostel is easy to find, the staff are friendly. The hostel is clean, and the other guests staying were really nice. I'm 19 and was in istanbul for a long weekend solo, so it was great to meet new friends in the rooftop bar, which was a great place to hangout and had music and a bar. The first night I was there I was invited to an organised trip to a part boat. It was such a fun evening and I met so many new friends. I booked a private room with a bunkbed. The room was small, but the layout made it seem larger. It had storage cupboards, a toilet shower wet room, and a washbasen. I thought the room was very clean, and towels were provided, the staff even came in every day to tidy the room which was unexpected for a hostel but a lovely touch. The hostel has a lift which was modern and worked well. I really enjoyed my stay!

The only thing I would comment on is the breakfast, it is pretty limited and you'd get bored after a few days.

Really nice place, booked few days end up stay here for another week. Clean, cozy amd comfy rooms, youve got a big locker too :-) And of course the breakfast in the morning, like a proper breakfast ussualy youve got in hotels or something! The blond lady ( i dont know her name ) taking care of it and helping everyone even if its busy she is rocking it. THANK YOU 🤍 Oh yeah there is also huge program in the eve if you want do some socializing or finding new friends everyday is something else soo just go for it Dear Wabi team, youre amazing! Nothing to complain!

Exceptionally CLEAN. The STAFF are all individually stand up individuals, eager and willing to go beyond and above to ensure everyone is satisfied and comfortable. I am very much impressed with the recruiting that WABISABI did here. Everybody that works here speaks flawless English. This can be hard to find at times in some places. The LOCATION is sensationally central, I am a 10 minutes walk to Taksim Square. You will never have any need to ever book a taxi whilst here, mighty transport links; bus, metro, tram, coach to the airport you name it. If you are into nightlife you have this for you in abundance a mere stones throw away. If you are Muslim and looking to pray, Taksim mosque is an absolute beauty, she never ceases to blow my heart away every time i lay eyes on her. If you are hungry at 5 am, no problem. There is more than enough 24 hour food around. I travelled SOLO, and was able to meet some very amazing people from all corners of the globe. The roof top bar’s view never ceases to blow me away, and the breakfast in the morning is a very nice way to start any day. They throw daily events, so if you are travelling by yourself you will be given ample opportunities to meet people similar to you within the confines of the hostel.

Not much to be honest. When i was stressed with laundry, they were there to get it done efficiently for only 200L in house. I needed towels?, for 50L i was able to rent a towel that I could trade in for a fresh towel every day. I needed random assistance at NONE OF THESE ARE COMPLAINTS, but they would have been issues elsewhere in many hostels in Istanbul or elsewhere in the world. With gentle efficiency many small things that i did not anticipate to plan were dealt with. I was supposed to stay here for 4 days, i ended up doing 18! The hospitality showed from these boys really made me comfortable in making this hostel my base to really get to know one of the great cities of the world.

I travelled with my mom, and I specifically booked a private double room. It was small but it offered all we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the staff, they were very helpful and attentive, we even received some amazing tips for public transport routes from the front desk. The hostel is near Taksim Square and close to a lot of supermarkets so it's convenient. The rooftop space offers an amazing view, I loved drinking my coffee there every morning. 😍🥹

The ac in our room had an issue and was leaking water 🥲 Before booking this place I checked the reviews ofc 💅🏼 and I saw people saying the breakfast wasn't very diverse but I found it sufficient.

This is a perfect hostel for solo travelers! I loved everything about it, but especially the staff, Ozan and Salem that were leading the hostel pub crawl were super friendly and highlight of my stay! Beds are really cozy, the room is being cleaned every day, you really feel they take care of everything. There are easy to use lookers in the room with a code, the location of the hostel is great- close to Taksim square, so easy to get around the main touristy areas. The rooftop bar of the hostel is the common area and it's perfect to meet other people staying at the hostel. There is even a simple breakfast (but I never woke up for it :D)

I have 0 complaints, I loved the places, and would happily stay here again! :) I would definitely recommend it!

Great location, lovely roof top - nice for working, and lovely sunset. Strong WiFi. Very clean, room cleaned daily and clean towels each day. We had a room with a shower and shared the toilet which is fine as there are plenty on the floor. Breakfast is not as varied as the photos but convenient. Good local food places around for borek and coffee, as well as Cantine opposite. Friendly helpful staff and was all good arriving at 5am in the morning although we had booked the room from the day before! Would definitely go back ideally with less work to do!

Not much to not like - just the usual with working places - more plug sockets please! 😄 The option for hot drinks during the day whilst working - a kettle or urn with hot tub water to be still available on the rooftop?!

This hostel was exceptional! The room was clean and comfortable, and best of all - QUIET! This place was a perfect spot to make our home base as we explored the city for a few days. The location was perfect, we were within walking distance of Taksim Square and Istiklal Caddesi, along with the Çukurcuma district so everything was very accessible. It was also close to the Metro station which made getting to Sultanamet super easy. The hotel host was also super helpful in giving us city recommendations and directions on how to get around. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked this hostel twice and returned here for our final night in the city before flying home.

The provided breakfast was very much appreciated and offered a wide range of items, but it did not compare to other kahvalti meals that we had in the city.
