Nice hostel vibe with common living room with books and (roof) terrace. Good to get to know other travellers. Great location in trendy Alsancak. Very well equipped kitchen (vegetarian only). Donation-based vegetarian breakfast. Washing machine available for a small fee.

Our room was very noisy from the street outside at night. The common bathrooms were ok for a hostel, but could have been cleaner. You can only use the common kitchen between 1pm and 10pm and there were quite strict about this. So, preparing you own breakfast or a late night snack is not really possible. The breakfast hours of the donation-based breakfast vary - so only works for you if you have a flexible schedule.

The cubby beds with curtains are great for privacy and sleep if you are not a night owl / party person. The location is great for exploring Izmir. Go to the bakery next door for some delicious boyoz. The terrace is beautiful. Breakfast is by donation, and is one of the better breakfasts I’ve had at all the places I’ve stayed in Turkey. I appreciated the ample vegetable dishes!

The WiFi doesn’t work except in reception. The room had very little airflow and got uncomfortably hot and stuffy at night for sleeping. Make sure to bring earplugs, at night and on the weekends especially the neighborhood can be quite loud with all the bars playing music.

Breakfast was good and rooms were comfy, great to have use of the kitchen and terrace. Laundry service quick and cheap. Location great for access to transport around the area (train station less than 5 min walk and bus station 30 mins by public transport).

Bathrooms were in need of a bit of TLC, instructions around use of the kitchen could have been clearer to avoid misunderstandings.

The atmospere and location were great, also the man explained everything well and what was important in +45 degrees the air freshener worked well and it was cool in the room. And if you don't eat meat this place is definitely for you, interesting concept

It was very loud 24/7. Day time they were shouting at home and repairing something, night time there were cars with music, dogs and shouting people outside, 0 sound isolation. And unwanted contrast shower which was not very clean

The hostel is located in the city centre of Izmir. Supermarkets nearby. The property has a cozy common area with a stable wifi connection. There is equipped kitchen which everyone can use. The hostel is well-maintained. Beds are comfortable. All the staff is friendly. Highly recommend it!

As a small drawback can mention the music that has been played loudly in the afternoon.

It was a pretty old house. People who staying there mostly travellers and they respect to each other. Toilets and bathrooms were shared and clean. And ı like these things: attach importance to recycling, affordable coffee, tip style breakfast(but we didnt try because my daughtet want to have a breakfast by the sea) and the ambiance. It was good stay

Sometimes there was noisy because it s located in a very central location. The street is crowded mostly. And there is nothing to do for it☺️

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location very close to the walking street, metro station and lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. Had I been on a different kind of trip and been wanting to go out partying more, the noise would not have been an issue (it stops about 1am) and this would be 10/10

I usually have no problem with noise from outside, but the noise from the club next door was unbearable. If you're here to go out and party, then that's no problem and this is the perfect place, but if you're hoping to sleep early, that may be a struggle. There was also no fan in my room, so closing the window to try to reduce the noise slightly resulted in the room becoming very stuffy. The addition of a fan could make a big difference.

The staff are all lovely. The breakfast was amazing and they ask only for a donation depending what you think it is worth The whole place feels calm and very friendly. . It is in a great location close to restaurants, night life and tourist attractions.

Nothing. Great value for money and a lovely place in a great location. We had a double room which we could lock, but I think there are no locks on the cupboards in the shared dormitory.
