This hotel is such a gem perched high up in the hills overlooking Şirince town. The common areas and bedrooms have interesting and charming little decorations and artworks around the place. The sumptuous breakfast every morning was such a treat, I'd advise anyone staying here to give yourself plenty of time and really enjoy sampling all of the delightful dishes, many of which are made from fruit and vegetables grown on site. They're not lying when they say they have the best filter coffee in Turkey, its a real improvement from the instant coffee many hotels offer. If you have the time on your trip, stay a few nights here. We spent one day just exploring the grounds of Nişanyan and cobbled streets of Șirince and it was a lovely change of pace not having any activities or tours booked and just wandering around. At the end of a warm day the Roman-style marble pool was deliciously fresh to cool off in.

A fridge in the rooms would be helpful for keeping water cool but might detract from the aesthetic and atmosphere.

Beautifully serene location with picturesque views and a gorgeous pool to cool off and relax around in summer. Accessible Walk into sirence village, sturdy shoes needed as most of the tracks are rocky. The family run hotel has interesting history and wonderful hospitality provided. They take pride in their food which is fresh and mostly home grown. Some of the best food I had in Turkey. We stayed in both the main house rooms and a cottage. While the cottages are a little walk through gardens from the main house/restaurant, they are near the pool and a full kitchen with self service available at leisure and very convenient. Loved staying at Nişanyan.

This hotel offers a really unique experience. Located in the hills surrounding Sirince the property is a rambling series of very old buildings. Ours was The Stone House which was a two story dwelling with lovely outdoor patio. Its not slick or polished but very special due to the location and the style of the hotel. The massive Turkish breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town was a real treat. The restaurant was very good also. The hotel would not really suit someone with mobility issues due to the terrain. The walk to town down old stone laid walkways required some attention and tested the fitness on the return but it all added to the uniqueness of the experience. As we are cat lovers we did enjoy our little visitors on the terrace. We travel a lot and travel well and we all thought this hotel was very special.

Stunning hillside hideaway Every attention detail is perfect Food was amazing, service personal and considerate without being in any way demanding We had cottage number 3 which was a wonderful 5 minute stroll up stairs and down paths filled with fruit trees and water features The pool area was perfectly perched at the edge of the hillside Our room was full of old world charm and character with home made olive oil soap in the marble bathroom Breakfast was perfect with fresh jams and conserve's, cooked eggs with service to match We just wanted to stay there for much longer as 3 nights just simply wasn't enough time One of my favourite holiday hotel experiences We will be back!

Cannot fault anything about this place

This is very beautiful place, I am glad we decided to reserve it and regret that we did not have more nights to spend there. It is very authentic, the staff is great: they even helped us to rearrange the bedding in a rooms. They communicated to reserve the dinner upfront and by the time we came (16 people), the table was served. Great views from the terrace, nice and tranquil territory. It seems like it is long way to the village center, but it is not - just about 5 minutes walk down to the main market entrance, and maybe 7 up - hard to say as we did too many photo stops :) The rooms are rustic and different, but each has its own charm. Need a lot of uphill walking though the resort itself: People with walking restrictions may consider it. Pool was very nice. Great breakfast and dinner.

The only confusion we had: the photos on the booking are not correctly represent the rooms we booked. Also, not all the descriptions mentioned private bathrooms and not all room types had bathroom pictures, so we had to call and ask about it.

It is a magical place, which smells of flowers and fruit trees, with delightful cottages scattered in the greenery, sitting rooms with a view of the street, lazy cats to pet, a splendid black and white marble swimming pool in the woods. The terrace, magnificent with a view of the village, is tinged with the colors of the sunset and the early morning. The breakfast is excellent, the best you can have in Turkey, with many specialties made on the spot. I also suggest having dinner, the menu is pleasant and sophisticated. Sevan Nisanyan and Müjde Tonbekici have created a little corner of paradise…

The location and aesthetics of the property are absolutely phenomenal. I felt transported into a location that wasn’t just a hotel but clearly a labor of love. There were personal touches that just made sense, excellent provision of little amenities, amazing breakfast and dinner with a view. We came to the town of Şirinçe for its historical charm (and it had plenty), but our stay and walks around the grounds of Nisanyan hotel were the most charming part of all. My partner and I have stayed in hotels in over 15 countries, and this one was in our top 3, and in certain aspects, a clear favourite. I would love to come back and stay longer in the future.

Absolutely nothing.

It was easy to find the hotel following the signs on the road. They recently built a path climbing to the hotel and it was easy to drive there. The staff is kind and helpful. They have an amazing cook named Ferda. She cooks traditional food but according to your dietary requirements and preferences. Everything we ate was delicious. They have a wide selection of local wines as well. The rooms are old but renovated to serve as a hotel room. All in all it felt so authentic and cosy. Best place to stay in Şirince.

The bed and the pillows were a bit hard. I didn't like it but someone else might enjoy.

Overall, our stay at Nisanyan Hotel in Selçuk was delightful. The boutique hotel boasts a peaceful atmosphere and is conveniently located near Ephesus, just a short drive away. The stunning views over Sirince village were truly memorable. The breakfast spread was rich, fresh, and delicious.

There was a small disappointment regarding the chalet accommodation. Despite booking a chalet advertised as having 2 bedrooms, it turned out to have only one bedroom with a door, while the second bed was in the living room/bedroom area without privacy due to the lack of a door. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful surroundings."

I really liked the location which is calm and out of the noisy touristic part of the village. The building we stayed in was village style and beautiful. There was a common space/ kitchen where they provided plenty of water, tea and several appliances to use. The pool was amazing! The breakfast was good - Turkish style- and the staff very friendly and polite.
