Our home from home. Our second time at Ibri. It is a beautiful old Turkish Villa across the street frim the Castle. Situated in the old town, a very quiet and beautiful part of town. Now coming to the host, Nina. We actually came back because of Nina. Last year it was such a surprise to run into her, she greeted us like old friends at looked after us like family. Se cooked beautiful breakfasts and served us tea whenever we wanted. This year it felt like coming home. It was such a joyous reunion. Ebri, we will be back next year to visit your gem, Nina.

Just a problem when paying, no credit card facilities.

I had such a wonderful stay in Ibri Hotel. The rooms have so much character and the location is absolutely perfect atop the hill by the castle. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms spacious and clean. But what made my stay 10/10 was Nina who manages the hotel. She works so hard and went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed and went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% return to stay here.

We really enjoyed our time at the Ibri Hotel. We were well welcomed by Nina, who took good care of us and recommended restaurants and places to visit in Selcuk and the surroundings. The hotel is beautiful and uniquely decorated. Our room was very confortable and well equipped, even if it can be a little warm in the mezzanine (we were there in August). The breakfast cooked by Nina was also very good and complete.

The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful; the owner really has an eye for beauty. Felt really cosy too. I actually liked that the rooms were slightly dimly lit. Also, the owner and Nina (the housekeeper and manager) were both very sweet and welcoming. Nina made sure we were comfortable the whole time and it was also very fun talking to her. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. We stayed in Selcuk to go to Ephesus, but now I am considering coming back to Turkey and Selcuk just so I can stay at this wonderful hotel again. That's how much I loved the stay. PS. The breakfast was delicious.

The Ibri Hotel is high on the hill in the centre of town in a tranquil setting. We had the ‘room with a bath’. It was just near reception but still quiet. The bath was comfortable, clean and relaxing after a day in the heat. There’s a pleasant leafy sitting area outside at the back of the hotel. There’s a helpful, attentive and hard working staff member at this hotel who is a real asset to this hotel.

It was walking distance to basilica, restaurants etc and close to Ephesus easy to park our car (just don’t follow google maps), had a lovely elevated courtyard/garden area and great helpful staff reception, and its stone ottoman style had a lovely quaint feel to it

It was confusing to find in google maps. - the property could benefit by providing a little map of where can park and entrances

Stunning room. Big bed, gorgeous bathroom and bathtub. Desk. A good amount of space. There’s a terrace and garden that I didn’t have the chance to use, but I would have liked to. I felt as if I could stay here a long time. Nina is really friendly and welcoming. She cares a lot about her job. I appreciated her presence during my stay.

Nina never stops working. It’s the only property I stayed at in all of Turkey where I saw the same person in the morning, during the day, and at night. I hope that the owner is actively working to hire someone to work with Nina so that she can get some deserved time off! Also note that the free parking is on the street.

The hotel was very pleasant and appealing, plenty of rustic charm. Fantastic room, very clean and cosy. Right near the Basilica of St John entrance and very close to the main retail shopping areas. Nina the manager was fantastic, went out of her way to assist us. If you are reading this review Nina, believe me, we appreciated your hospitality very much.

Nina the host was lovely. The house was charming and the rooms were cosy and clean. Great location close to the castle and centre. A wholesome home cooked breakfast each morning was delightful.

We booked two rooms and expected one with a castle view - disappointed as both rooms overlooked a bit of a building site!

Every thing. A beautiful building with beautiful old world decor and modern amenities. Everything you needed is there. A street separating the property from the ancient site, St James Basilica, the Ayasuluk Citadel and the aquaduct. Walking distance from good restaurants and shops. Nina, our host was super nice snd accommodating. Very friendly and we left with a hug. The owner came to greet us, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast felt that it was not going to stop. New dishes kept arriving at the table. Tranquil garden at the back. 3,5 km from Ephesus and a few minutes walk from the Ephesus Museum . Very quiet street in a typical old Turkish suburb.
