Isa Bey Mosque, and walkable to Temple of Artemis -Restaurants nearby -Baruş called a taxi for me and made sure I was dropped at the upper gate of Ephesus

No problems from the hotel As for the taxi I took to Ephesus, I was charged 450 lira, which was 3x the price of a ride you can request from Bitaksi, the local rideshare app. My mistake was not asking for the price ahead of time.

Bariş is the best host we had seen. The breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Bariş helped us a lot with our transportation by showing us where to catch the dolmuş from the old bus station at the corner of Kusadaşi and Atatürk Bulvari (or Kizilay Caddesi). It helped us save a lot of money on Taxi. Absolutely the best host on this trip. He even drove us to the bus station one day. We regretted having to leave Selçuk on the last day.

Great little location, with nice breakfast and very friendly, thoughtful and helpful owners aiming to make your stay best possible. Rooms are ok, not huge, with good airco, shower etc.

Ephesus archeological site is 45 min walk, but with car (or transport) only 10 mins. Selçuk centre is also 5-10 min walk.

The hotel is a house, with a courtyard where we had breakfast. The room was big, which was great! It was easy to park outside, and the streets around were very pretty and calm. There were a couple of restaurants nearby, but they were far enough for it not to be noisy. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Justinian's St. John Basilica, and a 10 minute walk from the more bustling touristic center, with restaurants, shops and stuff. It was also very easy to go to the Ephesus site by car. Breakfast was good, the mediaterranean style, with different options for everyone's taste.

The wifi worked fine for simple messaging and browsing, but we simply couldn't upload the pictures we had taken during the day to our cloud service - which was fine, we did it the day after anyway. Also, the room didn't have soundproof windows - which wouldn't be a thing, were it not for the 5am daily call for prayers. We took in stride though, and I'd still reccomend staying here!

The hotel's inner yard was like a dream - very quiet and peaceful, full of beautiful flowers. Barış and his staff were exceptional; very friendly and helpful. I.e. we arrived late because our flight was delayed and it was absolutely no problem. Barış waited for us with recommendations on where to still find dinner. The breakfast was delicious and plenty, with a lot of variations for every taste. Coffee and tea refills as well. Everything was very uncomplicated and easy, from getting a key for late night entry to the fridge with water, sodas or a beer open for self-service. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants close by. And the best for last: the hotel cat (boss) fittingly named Pamuk.

No complaints other than we didn't plan enough time at the hotel.

Beautiful house in the heart of Selcuk. We booked a 4 person room a got 2 interconnected rooms each with their own bathroom. Very nice breakfast, and the host was so helpful, we had car troubles and he helped us made the calls for road assistance. 5min walk from St Jonh Basilic, 15min walk from the archelogycal museum and a 7 min drive from the ancient city of Ephesus. Definitely recommend.

Perfectly located, this small and basic hotel has everything we needed including a very helpful host and an excellent breakfast.

Although charming, there were a few quirks such as a spraying pipe in the shower, sagging floorboards in one bedroom, etc, but we all felt that despite this our stay was excellent value for the low rates that were requested. If you want something more perfect, you should find a more expensive hotel. This was great for us!

We really wish we could have stayed longer. We had only two nights at the Amazon Antique Hotel and would have loved to stay a week. The host is very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. We arrived very late -- much later than expected -- and the host and his colleague waited to welcome us. I especially liked the lending library of regional guides, books and pamphlets. The garden is a lovely place to sit and relax. The location of the hotel is excellent for going to Ephesus, restaurants and the train station. If I'm every in Selcuk again, I would be happy to stay at the Amazon Antique Hotel. It's not fancy, but it's very comfortable.

Amazon Antiques is a wonderful gem in the friendly town of Selcuk. The garden is wonderful and well maintained, and provides a lovely peaceful, relaxing place to sit and have breakfast. Breakfast is included, it is typical Turkish plate, delicious and plentiful and the staff are super attentive, always filling up you coffee and tea cups. Pamuk the cat is often found reclining on the grass or a comfy seat somewhere which was a highlight for us. The staff were the overwhelming positive of Amazon Antique: Baris (the manager), Dudu the lady who works on a morning and cleans the rooms and Kubilay (the night manager) are all wonderfully helpful and kind people. Present 24 hours should you need them. They offered us advice on transport, restaurants, activities and even helped us by calling ahead to out next accommodation when we were having difficulties getting hold of them. The location of Amazon Antique is perfect, it is quiet and away from the centre of town but still walkable to most attractions and the centre, inc supermarkets and banks. It is an ideal base for anyone wishing to visit Ephesus, which is walkable (approx 3km - mostly flat, path and tarmac road) but it is also a short walk to the bus station where the local buses are cheap, frequent and reliable. Buses run regularly to most places and can be paid in cash to the driver. It is close proximity to the Basilica of St John (walkable in 5 mins) and to the town centre (10 mins) for shopping and many many restaurants.

This place was perfect, if we had to find something g it would be the bedding, there was no duvet and a thick blanket instead which is quite common in turkey but it was quite rough and itchy, it wasn’t to our liking but the staff were happy to provide us with sheets to place underneath it so it was no issue.

This is one of the best hotels we experienced in Turkey. The host was extremely helpful and kind. Our family stayed in a unit separate from the main lodging area. It has its own little courtyard and two bathrooms and is quiet and self-sufficient. The breakfast was rich and delicious—definitely 10 out of 10.

One of the single beds in the second bedroom has a worn-out mattress which was very uncomfortable. Sleeping on the sofa was a better alternative.
