Great host! Good English, very welcoming! Amazing breakfast although we felt maybe creates a lot of waste as we didn’t eat even half of what they served. Lovely swimming pool. Good location with all of Selçuk’s tourist spots within walking distance. Rooms were nice and clean.

Some points for improvement even though we rated the property 9/10. The swimming pool shuts down at 7:30pm for dinner. But even when dinner is done and there is no one there, you still can’t jump into the pool. It was 42 degrees this week, would have been nice to flex the rules a bit. The internet was very patchy. No lunch option.

Our stay at Livia Garden Hotel was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail – stylish, peaceful, and full of charm. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and the garden was a true oasis to relax in. Breakfast in the courtyard was a daily highlight – fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. The city center is within walking distance, and all major sights – including Ephesus – are very close by and easy to reach by car or taxi. Highly recommended – one of the best places we stayed during our trip through Türkiye. Would absolutely stay again!

The owner/manager’s (sorry didn’t get his name) exceptional attention to detail was obvious - the team were warm, attentive and incredibly professional. Breakfast was a feast!! Thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was wonderful after exploring in the hot July sun. Beds were comfortable. Room & bathroom spotlessly clean. Hotel was brilliantly located for Ephesus and a wander through Selcuk for dinner. Also convenient to explore Kusadasi. We loved our two night stay and would love to return

Roosters woke us early …. But added to the charm and of course, not the hotel’s fault!

My wife booked this gem based on the affordability and the few reviews that were available. Without knowing exactly what she was booking she managed to hit a home run. It’s what I might define as a lovely boutique hotel with service you won’t find in any major hotel brand anywhere. Our room was delightful. Simple but elegantly comfortable. Our location couldn’t have been better. Short walking distance to the Ephesus museum, St. John’s Basilica, and fine restaurants. Ten minute walk to the train station as well. (Just don’t use Apple or google maps. They’ll take you on a walk that will leave you scratching your head). Livia Gardens real treasure is the people that work to make your stay comfortable and memorable. If you’re traveling to Selcuk to visit Ephesus or just to see this unique city, I don’t think you can make a better choice than spending your evenings at this fine hotel.

The traditional look of the property had completely blown us away, beautiful building, safe and spotlessly clean, with beautiful garden, lime trees and a bar/restaurant.

There was absolutely NOTHING we did not like - a fenomenal manager, friendly and informative, wonderful housekeeping staff that handled our room / time and things with utmost respect, the hotel restaurant staff that make the BEST breakfast- they all made us so welcome.

It was very clean and tidy and just set back from the Main Street but still at the heart of everything. It had that homely feel; not just another mega, carbon copy hotel. The staff were excellent, always trying to help you, couldn’t ask for more from them.

Can’t think of anything. Maybe some might complain there was no restaurant for evening meals. But there are enough exceptional eateries around it is totally not an issue. However, there was a superb breakfast by the pool each morning that set you up for the day.

We were met with big smiles and a caring attitude, and this feeling persisted throughout our (short) stay. We felt like being part of a family, and this is something that rarely happens. The hotel is in excellent shape, rooms are cozy and with personality, everything is clean and they even have scented air purifiers on the hallways. The pool is small, but it's nice to have the option to cool down after a hot day. The hotel is near an area with restaurants and pubs, but the street it's located on is low-traffic and quiet. In conclusion, we'd be happy to return here in the future, if the opportunity arises.

Everything was good, with no negative parts to speak of.

We can’t say enough about how much we loved staying here. The rooms and garden are beautiful, it’s a short walk away from Selçuk center and the Temple of Artemis, the breakfast is very delicious, and Erdem and all the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They’ve raised the bar for all our future stays at other hotels. We didn’t want to leave!

This is minor but worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper and sharing a room — the bathroom light is connected to a very loud fan so if somebody goes to the bathroom in the middle night, it might wake up whoever else is in the room. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs!

Amazing service offerd by all of the hotel staff. Very nice and friendly owner, giving us really good tips for the trips around Ephesus. It's lovely to stay in the small town of Selcuk and walk around. It is very quiet and you can experience local culture without masses of tourists. It is super close to Ephesus and other historical sites. The hotel is small and comfy, with family-like feeling. Absolutely beautifully made garden and fabulous breakfast. We felt very good in the hotel and will be happy to return again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Drinks in our mini bar were after expiry date. We believe this will be changed. Everything else was good.

The welcome from reception was perfect, both in terms of English skills and content - we got a great introduction to the sites and restaurants in the area, most of which were within walking distance. This made a massive difference to our two days' holiday in Ephesus and we are really grateful. The Turkish breakfast is fantastic, bring a good appetite. Free parking was easy on the streets surrounding the hotel.

We would have liked breakfast to start a bit earlier as we wanted to be at the Ephesus historic site at 08:00, and breakfast is 08:00-10:00. For the price of the room one cannot complain.
