The staff. Gary, Chris, Eril and Jeffrey were all phenomenal. They made our stay extra special. The pool area is really nice and relaxing as well.

Other than not being right at the beach, wouldn’t change a thing.

This resort is not for those looking for one of the island's high end experiences. Instead, it was a very very comfortable and friendly place to be, perfect for our needs. It was walking distance from a grocery store, so we could save a little on food. The staff was exceptional for their warmth and desire to accommodate us. Our room had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. The shuttle bus to the beach was really convenient--we chose not to rent a car while there so it was helpful to have it.

Apartment was good size, though the bathroom was small. The 2 bedroom had enough space to spread out a little. Staff were very polite. Liked the local phone to allow us to call with questions. The shuttle to the beach was great and the workers at the beach were helpful. We spent 3 days at our chairs on the beach, very nice. We had a rental car and it was easy to get around the island and to the grocery store.

Pool wasn't heated so it was cold in January. The hot tub was great though.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Wenie went the extra mile of ensuring we were well taken care of our entire stay! Our deluxe two bedroom cottage exceeded my expectations and I have 0 complaints about it. Everything was CLEAN, just how i like it! Ruth in the kitchen was pleasant as well & the bartender Mufassa. Customer service 10/10 all the way around. Breakfast was delightful. This resort was beautiful and very affordable. If you’re thinking about staying here I recommend booking the deluxe cottages, renting a vehicle & booking the breakfast package. Hopefully we will be back!

The resort was beautiful and peaceful - the kitchen and bathroom are small but perfectly adequate - we pretty much self catered. The accommodation was cleaned really well everyday and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

We find eating out difficult because one of us needs gluten free food - the restaurant staff are not confident enough about the ingredients that are used in the dishes for us to be confident to eat there.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. There’s a nice grocery store nearby to shop for food. The location on the beach where they have chairs and umbrellas for guest use is perfect! It’s not crowded at all compared to the resort areas further down the beach. Overall, Kokomo is a perfect option for those who don’t require a resort atmosphere. The location is great…especially if you have your own transportation to explore the island. The staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the meal at the restaurant on site. Our server presented us with many suggestions of places to see and restaurants to try. We would definitely stay here again!

What a great resort - loved every minute of our stay. Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The staff could not do enough for you - especially Weine and Maureen - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel had a really relaxed and easy vibe and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Manager was very welcoming. He sat me down and offered me fruit juice to cool down while going over the paperwork. He gave me a quick tour and showed me my cottage. It was so clean and comfortable looking. The beds in each room (2) was neatly made and the air-condition was on full blast. I'll say this location is for those who really want a quiet, cool place with character. I loved the compound, the trees, the little walkways with trees around the cottage reminds me of camping yet has character and a real feeling of relaxation with it. The location is not at the beach but close enough and a shuttle takes you and picks you up any time u want between 8am to 5pm. Paras, the security was very helpful shuttling me to the beach and back. He also made sure I had anything I needed before he left. He also showed up immediately when ever he was called to pick up. I had little to no expectations but the warm welcome, the attentiveness to guests request and going the extra mile for guests won me over. I'll recommend this resort for everyone but know what you're going there for as this facility is really really relaxing and quiet with less traffic which is good for getting away from everything noisy. Thank you so much, I'll be back.

Bathroom was smaller than I expected. But it was kept clean every day.

Our stay at Kokomo was great! Everyone who worked at the resort was phenomenal. Joseph the driver to the beach was always readily available to drive us and he answered any questions we had. The beach is located right next to the Wayamara resort and there was hardly anyone there. Wenie was incredible! She was always available to help us and she reserved airport pick up and drop off for us. Anytime we needed anything she was able to get it for us or find someone else who could help. The restaurant is not open until the 19th of March because the chef has not arrived. In the meantime I would recommend going to Pizza pizza or somewhere else on the island for food. Pizza pizza is practically right across the street from the resort. It’s about a 3-minute walk (ask someone for directions). The restaurant manager is able to whip up bar snacks for the meantime until the chef arrives however they were not my favorite which is why I recommend pizza pizza. The beach ride is only available from 9-5pm. If you would like to go to the beach earlier or stay later, you will be responsible for the transportation back to the resort. You could walk back but you would have to walk on the main road. This is why a rental car would be helpful. The cottages are nice! It looks exactly how it looks online. The bathroom could use a few upgrades; however, they are currently upgrading them and upgraded cabins are available at an extra cost. The pool/cabana area is amazing! This is where you are greeted for check-in before you are shown to your cabin. I would recommend this resort. It is very close to the grocery store and the staff truly made the experience amazing. PLEASE TIP Wenie, the beach driver, housekeeping etc. for all of their hard work. They put in a lot of effort to make you vacation wonderful and they should be rewarded.
