Location Location Location....right beside the lock we were able to watch the boats going through, walk the park and lock area and have a great dinner on site. Bed was comfortable. It needs a little updating but overall it was a great stay.

Some TLC in the cleaning of the balconies and better vacuum in the bedroom...or door was tricky to open but functional.

Very comfortable stay at very economical price. Really peaceful surroundings with an amazing view from the balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. The only drawback was that The hotel is not very well maintained since our washbasin was clogged.

It’s set in DT Smiths Falls, very close to where we were, spacious rooms complete with a coffee-making machine and microwave in the room. Basic but good breakfast.

Next to the property is a foamy canal of brackish water, room smelled a bit moldy. Coffee from the machine tasted funny.

The main entrance was startling and impressive. The light breakfast room was super clean.Even being an older building the place smelled clean and pleasant

I would hope the spring cleaning is near as hallway window etches require a dust buster due to build up of insects

Adequate, accessible, the breakfast had varieties and easy to prepare.

The chair covers are old, can do better with new ones. We didn't sit on it. The carpet/rugs can be better too.

This hotel is amazing from the stunning location to the beautifully overall layout. The space is got an old Skool stylish, and welcoming, vibe

Location and price. It was clean, comfortable and close to Ottawa. Only 1 hr. Staff were nice

It is outdated. Carpets are getting old. Ceiling in our room showed a lot of repairs.

The breakfast was good. I would recommend also offering something like boiled eggs if possible.

The location and scenery around the building was absolutely beautiful. But the site is also in need of major upgrades and renovations. The ceiling of our room was patched with crumbling plaster and the bathtub and fixtures had visible scratches on them. It also would have been much appreciated if there had been streaming services such as Netflix available.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the town and the highway. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful, even bringing an iron to the room for us. The beds were also very comfortable.

It would have been nice to have someone always on post at the front desk.

Staff at Econolodge were friendly and amazing. Even coming up to our room to show us how to work the remote. Rob Roy restaurant next door was great. Waterview was beautiful. Close to main street. Breakfast included was good.

Could use some updates. Paint the balconies inside and out.
