The hotel is in a safe location and has ample free parking. The staff are wonderful! Really efficient. The female desk attendant in the morning was really pleasant, cheerful. It helps that the staff are bilingual as well. The breakfast has a good selection of options (the eggs are fluffy and buttery! A must!) and the attendant is cheerful, helpful and always in the look out to clean any spillage, clear tables or assist in anyway. The wonderfully smelling toiletries are sustainable in that they are in queeze bottles minimizing container waste (very advanced!) and it is helpful that they designed a very chic sink and siuated it outside of the restroom to give people immediate access to wash their hands or face. The rooms face an open courtyard so you don't feel boxed in and the courtyard is well maintained (even saw a guy mop underneath the swamp cooler to make sure it looked pristine). Coffee and water is 24/7 at the lobby (which is great!) and parking is free! If you are on a budget but want a welcoming and comfortable place to stay, I cannot stress enough how grateful we are on how this place is being handled by the staff. To all the guests, please be kind to the staff, they are a blessing and give their all in the tasks that they do. I hope Best Western acknowledges how great this place is being run!

The Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel was a quiet, casual hotel at a convenient location. The hotel and the room were clean and well-maintained. The staff was warm and friendly, professional and efficient. Check-in and check-out took very little time.

It was nice that a microwave oven and a refrigerator were provided. Would it be possible to add a coffee-maker and a couple of packets of coffee, as well?

Breakfast was great, hot meals every morning. Room was cleaned every day. Available coffee and hot chocolate all day. It’s easy and fast to get extra towels.

Refrigerator wasn’t working, and when I asked to repair, it still wasn’t as cold as it should be, freezer not working. Laundry was horrible, it was very expensive and dirty. $4 dryer didn’t dry the clothes throughly, needed another cycle, which is $8– laundry mats are $1.50 only. Water has a weird taste.

Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Desk, room, and kitchen staff were all very nice & helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

The lighting over the sink in our room was very poor; difficult for putting in contacts, shaving, etc. A wall-mounted lighted extendable mirror would be a nice solution.

Older property with clean, modern rooms. The staff are kind and friendly. Maintenance and housekeeping were kind and responsive. The area is somewhat walkable - there are a few restaurants and other hotels nearby. A short drive from grocery stores and other eateries if needed. I enjoyed my stay.

Jacuzzi was out of service. May be back up in once it warms up.

The staff was very nice and our room was perfect for what we needed.

The breakfast wasn’t all that great. My daughter usually loves hotel breakfasts but was not happy with this one. She said the syrup for the waffles was bad. And the turkey bacon wasn’t good either.

Location is good to do things in LA or san diego great for a bech visit , price was good for a Nice room.

Parking is a little tight & limited on busy nights

Place is clean, staff is very friendly.

There was a large group who stayed on a Saturday (travel ballers). Kids were very noisy running around and parents nor staff did do anything about it. Also Parents were up past 10pm also very load and staff couldn't quite them down.

Very quiet. Very comfortable. Was somewhat close to Laguna Beach. Liked that they served you fresh cooked eggs, bacon, ham and hash browns, this was a surprise. The food was only handled by the service staff which I appreciated.

Tried to shower at about 9pm...there was no hot water!

The breakfast was actually really nice. They had chef/cook right there in front of you cooking. Location was definitely a great plus. It was extremely close to everything! Gas, restaurants, drive thrus, small businesses, general stores, shopping outlets. And the staff was actually very helpful and nice

I would suggest upgrading the sofa bed. It was honestly pretty old and you can feel every spring! Even my 6 year old was complaining. Sorry, but I think if that sofa beds were changed and updated this hotel would actually be a 8/10!
