**Review:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The **cleanliness** was top-notch, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The **location was absolutely perfect**—right on the beachfront with stunning views, plus plenty of nearby restaurants to explore. I also loved that there was a nice area for **doggies to walk**, making it a great spot for pet owners. The **staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming**, making the experience even more enjoyable. The **kitchen was well-equipped**, making it easy to prepare meals, and the **balcony was a wonderful place to relax** and take in the view. Overall, this hotel had everything I was looking for, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wish there are more parking options for at least two cars, but given the location, understandably it is limited.

In a nutshell, stellar experience!!!! Keep reading if you want more detail, or just move on and know you can not go wrong by staying here! Enjoy! Or if you want a longer story, I came here on business, as a few times before, and this time I wanted to make sure to bring my wife for a much needed trip and I wanted to plan out the perfect stay, for about 4 days, and killed it I think!!! Please read on if you are so inclined. My wife and I absolutely loved everything about San Clemente and the SeaHorse lodging, and we have traveled somwhat afar, but only here in the states mostly, normally we prefer to destroy ourselves at the "junction" of Rue De Bourbon and Fremonte St........If yuns know ya know! Back to the important part: I would so very highly recommend the SeaHorse for anyone looking for a low key and not busy type of short stay like we had, so fantastically chill! But, if you wanna blow off some steam there is some hype hangouts close by, we met super wonderful people at Goodys, and the Red Fox had some really nice people as well, great spots to enjoy down to earth conversation, and we just loved the bartender and Joanne the sports nut and so on and so forth, just wonderful people, and so many others so nice! I rolled the dice on this trip and couldn't be more satisfied with the result. From the well kept and holiday decorated San Clemente Pier, directly across the street, to the broad ocean view from the deck, and the restaurants and convenience store all within 1 minute walk, just fantastic, so quiet and peaceful as well.... The staff of SeaHorse was as friendly and courteous as anyone could want! I mean just flippin nice, the housestaff and all, my interaction with the housestaff, she was so super nice, wonderful! The SeaHorse was great, ground zero for our stay, the best lodging we have had anywhere! I hope you all have as great a stay as we did! Greg D

Staff was great - very helpful and friendly. View from the room was amazing. Room was clean, comfortable - the view/ balcony was the best part! Helpful to have free parking and located close to cute coffee shops and restaurants, which made things super easy.

The walls are a little on the thin side, which I didn't really notice until a family with a small child checked in next door - so that wasn't ideal. The worst part about it was that there is a pipeline project happening at the beach right now and it would have been nice to know this to factor in to whether or not it was a good time to visit as it is being worked on throughout the day/evening, so there is a lot of tractor/large machinery noise including reverse warning signals that are almost a constant. The Sea Horse Resort is amazing....quiet, comfortable, great location across from the beach. The units are beautifully designed and kept very clean. I love having all the kitchen accessories available so that we could eat in for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back, would stay for our entire month long vacation next year if we can!

All good, can't think of any negatives.

This is a Great Hotel, at the Beach, my Favorite Beach. I used to live in San Clemente years ago. There is everything one needs right there at the Pier Shops and the Pier itself. Fisherman's is Most Excellent and I Loved the Crepe Galette and the Pier Market

The guest above me walked around like a herd of elephants, thankfully they went to bed around 10 pm so it was Tolerable. My Only Issue was the Water Pressure in the shower, it had No Pressure and I kept smelling sewage that was coming out of the shower drain. Simple fixes. This is a very old building so it's all understandable. I am used to great water pressure in my shower

Beautiful beach front property with a lovely staff. Everyone is so nice and restaurants are within walking distance, they even provide parking vouchers so don’t worry about parking! They don’t have AC or heating but they accommodate with a little portable heater and fan that really do well in the space! I loved this place and the shower was so nice, we will be back!

The train can be a bit loud but honestly it didn’t bother us and we had a good nights rest.

The front desk lady was so positive, friendly and helpful. The chairs and umbrella were needed and helpful. Restaurants were right there. The view from the balcony was tremendous. The smell of the ocean was so wonderful. Downtown is a leisurely walk. Lots of open beach.

I can't think of anything. I suppose the steps to the beach could certainly be a handicap person's nightmare. But, you state all this before anyone makes a reservation. The early train warning is slightly off-putting. No biggy.

Very close to the beach. We loved being close to food places along with being about to walk to the beach and pier. There were many options for all meals and a little convenience store all really close. The room we were in was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again.

Parking was interesting. We were able to park in a dedicated parking spot they have but it was tight. It is my understanding there is also some street parking around that are metered and some that don't have meters.

The receptionist was perky and lively. The location across the street from the beach, Pacific Ocean and San Clemente Pier is ideal. The complimentary coffee at the associated Creperie next door is a nice amenity. The king bed is quite good as are the sheets and four pillows

The property is dated, musty and not topnotch at over $300 a night for a small ocean view studio on a non-busy weekday in October. The onsite parking while complimentary too is tight and low. The property notes parking for one compact car per room. Three tight spaces under the building on the street are indeed “tight”. The rear gate on our compact Ford SUV rental hits the ceiling and the doors barely open when another car is parked on either side. Opt for a garage nearby. The showed is not in the bathroom and is old and rusty with a plastic door

Located directly across the street from the beach/pier and within walking distance to restaurants. Rooms are cute and clean and we enjoyed sitting on the private patio to watch the sunrise/sunset each day. (photo included from our private patio)

There is a charge for parking, but I suppose it might be typical for the area.
