Really enjoyed our stay here! So much nicer than the basic Best Western/Mariott. Very cute just like the pictures. We are from Ventura and funny enough our room hat pictures from Ventura all over the Room. We just stayed 1 night. Could not hear the freeway,even tough it’s so close. The guy working the reception was super super friendly and even gave us late check out. Parking is covered and free. We walked for dinner to downtown, which was a quick 15-20min walk. Very safe and very nice we checked out all the coffee shops and boutiques along the way. We were there surfing trestles, so we did not care that hotel was not close to the ocean, as you have to drive & walk to the surf spot anyway. We had free water bottles in the room too which was perfect as we were so thirsty.

The water ran ice cold in the morning & we wanted to shower. After 15 min letting it run we left for breakfast without a shower. When we came back it got warm/hot. Receptionist said it’s an old building and the boilers are older and that’s just how it is….. I disagree. A hotel should always have hot water.

The room was nicely decorated and bed was very comfortable. Staff was nice upon check in and it was in a great location to family we were visiting. We would stay there again.

I think they need to instruct guests how the doors to rooms work better. We were instructed how to open it but were nit told how to lock it since it was a key pad. And had to go to front desk to ask as there is no phone in room to call front desk and we were on 2nd floor. Not everyone is used to a keypad entry and should not be assumed.

Everything was great. We only stayed one night after a friend's wedding that was a few minutes away, but staff was super accommodating for our specific check in needs and the room was great for us when we finally got there later that night. Great location, easy parking, and great value.

The elevator is painfully slow, but it wasn't a big deal at all. We took the stairs most of the times we went up and down and it was no problem. For the price, that being the only inconvenience is a huge win in our eyes.

Close to downtown, modern, fun design! The staff were lovely and friendly. The rate includes parking for one car and that was awesome as most places charge for parking. The amenities were useful and thoughtful too. Loved the vibe of the rooms. The beds were large and comfortable - nice linens too! The room was very large and didn’t feel crowded at all with all of our luggage.

Couldn’t figure out the sound machine.. but that’s just me. It was a nice touch to have one all the same :)

I go back to the hotel two or three times a year it's like going to a home away from home his staff is great if I had one thing to suggest it would be stiffer mattresses they're very soft I'm a stiff mattress kind of guy LOL in my opinion location is great it's in town but a hop skip and a jump from everything every time I go back they make me feel at home...

The room was really cozy , they had a sound system that made water sounds. The lady at the front desk was super friendly & helpful. Parking was perfect , there’s a gas station right next to the hotel as well as the freeway which was convenient. The beach was really close by & there were plenty of attractions to go do. You’re in the middle almost between San Diego & Orange County which makes the perfect day trip. I highly recommend!

The first thing I walked in the lobby to check in and was greeted by a very nice guy. Our room was really nice and huge. I love that it has shampoo ,conditioner, body soap already in the shower. We had a great 2 days there. And the front desk guy is the best ,I wish he could come out and work at my husbands hotel.

I didn't like all the traffic. There is so many people all over that soon there will be no where to even enjoy the beach area or the desert area .

Small, but very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. Parking spots in front of the hotel. 1 minute from the trolley station to get to the beach and downtown. Quiet and we took our breakfast (supermarket only minutes away) outside where you find some tables and chairs for all the guests.

Great location, extremely clean room, and nice staff! The hotel was perfect for the WSL Finals at Lower Trestles and there were some great good option close by.

The only improvement that could have been made is the bathroom door is a sliding “barn door” with a large gap between the door and the wall so there wasn’t optimal privacy.

Clean and comfortable with upgrades, I saw happy to have a Keurig coffeemaker instead of the usual coffee filter type. The General Manager was friendly and helpful.

It’s not like they can help the location but we had a great view of the freeway and it’s loud, however we did have an ocean view.
