Nice layout of the room. Like the couch and patio. The free breakfast switches every morning and it hot and fresh. It was quite clean hotel that I felt safe to be at.

I had to go on Booking.com to extend my stay when my new unit wasn't open on the promised date. I would have been nice to just extend it in person on the rates I got on Booking. It's kind of isolated from other shops, so you need to go grocery shopping before you go to the hotel because there isn't a gas station or stores near by for quick purchases.

during check out they tried to come into the room 45 minutes early with their key thankfully the door was locked but definitely caught be off gaurd. kept the do not disturb sign up because that’s what we were told to do if we didn’t want cleaners to come and they still came and knocked to see if we needed anything. phone and alarm clock kept making noises so we had to unplug them

Room was large and spacious with small balcony. Quiet area faced parking area in the back. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast as expected with eggs, cereals, waffles. Pretty lobby area and friendly staff.

Bathroom door was inconveniently placed in front of mirror and sink making it awkward to get in and out of if someone is at the sink. No space on balcony for a chair, just enough room to stand.

Was able to call and say we would be checking in later than expected. There were no problems with it. Breakfast was a nice spread, plenty to choose from. Very quiet and pretty clean. We had a little balcony, not huge but nice to be able to hang out beach towels and swimsuits.

The only problem we had was little like fruit flies around the mirror in the room.

The room spa was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

A housekeeper staff member briefly tried to open the door even tho the Do Not Disturb sign was still hanging on the handle. We found one bug in the room once.

Second time staying at this property for a short family trip to the beach. We booked pretty last minute on a holiday and they were still able to accommodate my special request before check-in.

Everything was fine.

Loved how peaceful it was. It was close to a few beaches and was so perfect. I was able to leave the patio door open and enjoy the fresh breeze.

There was honestly nothing I could complain about. The staff was so polite.

The breakfast was varied and fresh every day. Very helpful with requests. It was very quiet while we were there.

Not next to a grocery store or gas station for those impulse cravings.

Before making my reservation I read quite a few of negative comments but the score was over 7, so I decided to give it a try. I stayed for 7 nights and everything met or exceeded my expectations. I believe the negative comments are from guests that where unlucky or just too picky. - The room was very clean at my arrival. It was also exactly as in the pics. Very comfortable and spacious. - Wifi worked well for everything I used it for (web browsing and Netflix). - Plenty of outside parking at the premises at all times. Stalls were large enough for trucks. - A/C and heater worked well - Good location; 3 minutes by car from downtown San Clemente and the beach - Staff was nice and check-in/out was fast I was pretty happy with my stay and it was the second cheapest on Booking. I was also surprised by the negative comments and previously read, that's why I decided to do a detailed review.

The beds, bedding, high-quality cotton. Having the suite provides more room.

The refrigerator ran all the time... The handle of the refrigerator should be on the same side as the cabinet door. The towels are over worn and need replacing.
