Idyllic inn with a beautiful beachfront view and even more entrancing sound of the ocean waves. Jimmy called early to let us know we could check in. Upon arrival, the room was super clean and comfy. He even stopped by and helped us get our heater going. We could tell a lot of thought was put into the design of the room and ease of use into the amenities. The TV being able to swivel left to to bed and right toward the couch was thoughtful and appreciated. We spent most of out time outdoors soaking in the sun under the lounge chairs though. The train would run by the tracks occasionally and really added something special to the stay. The community firepit was lit right as the temperatures cooled and all the guests gathered and even shared s'mores :) It was a wonderful experience to stay the night at beachcomber inn. The constant waves throughout the night were the perfect lullaby.

The location was unbeatable. Views of the ocean and proximity to the beach and restaurants was excellent.

Coffee maker should have had premium coffe and there was no creamer. Wine glasses were plastic. Little things like that should be improved for the price we paid. Also, the lounge chairs on the sloping lawn were uncomfortable to sit in, as you kept sliding. They should level those areas. Finally, an outdoor jacuzzi would be perfect for the cool nights and foggy morning. Alas there is none.

The views are the best you will find. You can lay in bed and hear the tide and see the ocean. The rooms are extremely clean and the property is well maintained and safe. The neighborhood surrounding is comfortable and safe and we walked the neighborhood and beach every day. The location is a short drive to several cities for shopping and dining. If you want to stay close to the hotel, the Fisherman's pier and restaurant are within steps. Great location!

We were comfortable with it, but some might not like the lack of privacy while in your room. The picture window allows for terrific views, but you will occasionally have other guests walking past the window. We didn't mind, as it is a small Inn and the number of people walking by is limited.

Amazing location! Beautiful view and sound of the ocean. I liked the cool decorations and colors, fire pit and community/ family friendly feeling. Close to many yummy places and the beach.

I wish there was a fan in the bathroom and some ac possibly, although that would change the quietness/ sound of ocean. It's nice to leave windows open and maybe locking pretty barred outside screen for added security would be an idea, although I felt safe.

This hidden gem is amazing! It was our first stay and we will definitely be back! It’s so quaint, rooms are exceptionally clean and so bed/pillows were so comfortable! You can hear the ocean all night ! The ocean/sunset views from your front porch are breathtaking! 10+++++++

Loved everything!

Unbeatable views and proximity to San Clemente. The staff was accommodating. The rain spoiled our first day, but they lent us an umbrella, and let us use the lawn chairs well after checkout.

A late checkout option would have been appreciated. The room was cold at night. There's no thermostat but I fiddled with the old fashioned heater and it warmed up quickly. A sign might have been helpful.

The location was great ! The staff was friendly , the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable . Loved the fire pit , the lawn chairs on grass and chairs on front porch . Our stay was lovely!

Would have loved more counter space in the bathroom . And liquid body wash in shower

Location is amazing along with the view. The daily sunsets were unbelievable. The nightly firepit was wonderful, met many great guest that have been going to the property for 10-30 years. We actually booked another stay for the next year before we left.

Everything is fabulous! The property is beautiful and close to everything. The view is spectacular and it was so relaxing to listen to the waves as we fell asleep. The fire pit is so nice. I cannot wait to go back!

There isn’t anything not to like - but it would be so amazing if they added a hot tub.

The location was excellent....right above the beach and the San Clemente Pier. Easy walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Grounds were keep very well and plenty of lounges to relax on and chairs around the fire pit.
