We loved our stay. The location is superb, right next to the beach. The resort is lovely - architecturally interesting and well designed. Our studio was spacious, very clean, and everything in it worked. And the balcony with the sea view was perfect. Also the hotel offers beach equipment - chairs, toys etc. at no charge. Plus, the parking in the hotel garage is a massive bonus.

The room can be a bit noisy due to proximity to the public parking, but that's to be expected at the location. The hotel does not have air con which was not an issue during our October stay but I can see how it could be in the warmer months.

This was a great stay. I was primarily looking for ocean view and beach proximity for a reasonable price and this property delivered. It's not the fanciest place but it was clean, totally reasonable, not shabby, and most importantly had a great terrace with ocean view and is right across the street from the sand. Easy parking as well was essential. We could hear the waves from our living room and bedroom. The bedroom was a little small but it mostly felt that way because we were having to fit a travel crib in the room as well. There is no AC which most of the year is probably fine, we happened to be there on the two hottest days of the year so it was a little warm but cooled down sufficiently by night time to sleep comfortably. I did not get to partake in the jacuzzi and sauna because I was traveling with my infant, but it was nice that they were there.

The proximity to everything was amazing. The trolley is across the street. It takes you downtown into the mall. The pier is across the street. The beach walking trail is across the street. There’s coffee at the local café and there’s a cute little pizza parlor shop not to mention the restaurant that sits on the pier had clam chowder there great Linda at the front desk is an absolute gym!

The sauna area and the hotel guest group meeting room was a little eerie for me

Ty and Kim, excellent and helpful to us as we were new to the area as guests. Our unit was very clean and the young custodian that was working around our floor was helpful and friendly and even brought us more coffee packets for our kitchen. We really appreciated the umbrella and comfortable chairs for the beach! Thank you, we will be back. Oh, also it was very enjoyable meeting other folks on the third floor at the informal continental breakfast. Very friendly and lovely folks.

The staff was absolutely amazing. I don't know how they stay as cheerful and friendly and helpful as they do, but it was a bright spot. Location was great. I could walk to restaurants and you can't beat a walk across the road to the pier and to the beach. That was pretty amazing. I also liked the gated and underground parking. The kitchen and sitting room area were nice and the balcony was spacious. I liked the fullsize fridge and the gas fireplace. The prep utensils for food are scant and there was only one dishtowel I could use, but there were ample plates and glasses.

My ocean view room was barely ocean view. I had a great view of the city parking lot for the pier and the beach, but only a tiny little sliver of an ocean view. I was pretty disappointed with that. The bedroom was also very tiny. It was just me for this trip in a king bed and I would've been miserable trying to navigate that space with my spouse. The area between the bed and the wall was NARROW and there certainly wasn't room for suitcases in there. You have to manage your belongings in a closet with shelves. It wasn't convenient because you have to open a sometimes temperamental bifold door to the closet.

Its is a great location right across from the ocean and the pier Excellent staff and rooms. The only draw back as it is a bit of a hard walk from the hotel to the pier and beach as the hotel is on a hill.so if you have mobility issues heads up. But you cant beat the location staff and pricing. I will be returning

Closeness to the beach and overall feel of the resort was really pleasant. Great size studio with nice balcony. Lots of home comforts. Cute rooftop area with views and hot tub.

There’s no breakfast on site but we got things from the store and made it ourselves.

It is a stones-throw from the pier, a block from Casa Romantica, and just down th hill from th Civic Center, which hosts the Sunday Farmer's Market. The kitchen was small but serviceable, with everything I needed to cook several delicious meals. The staff were wonderful. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfy.

Spacious (studio) room, with kitchen facilities, including dishwasher. Terrace/balcony with sea view, where we made our own breakfast. Perfectly located for the pier and local restaurants. 15-20 min walk to town centre restaurants. Free, secure parking was welcome, as were the deck chairs and other beach equipment.

We loved our last minute stay. The property is a little older but well maintained. The staff is exceptional. For a couple or family looking for a fun beach vacation this is a great place to stay. Restaurants in area are excellent!
