The room was very nice and spacious. It had a microwave and a coffee maker which I greatly appreciated. The front desk staff was very nice. I loved the quality and smell of Dove shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and esthetically pleasant. Free parking and airport shuttle. Overall, very nice hotel. If it wasn't for the issue with the cleaning staff, I would have given this hotel the highest rating.

There was no hand soap and no toiletries whatsoever by the sink (such as e.g. soap, lotion, a makeup remover sheet, or a shower cap). So in order to wash my hands in the sink, I had to reach out to the liquid soap dispenser located in the shower. The cleaning lady started banging at my door an hour before my checkout time and opened the door to enter uninvited in even if I told her I had requested a late checkout at 12 pm. She then stayed right behind my door and kept talking with someone very loudly interrupting with my business conference call until 5 minutes to 12 pm, when she again banged on my door to force me out of there.

It was convenient, clean and breakfast was acceptable.

There were some problems with the out door access problems, dead bolt didn’t work in my room, Some bulbs burned out. I did complain about two of the problems, but they weren’t addressed while I was there. There was an odor on the second floor and it was warm in the common areas. I felt the odor might be related to new carpet or glue for the carpet, it was a chemical smell.

The hotel was perfectly located...near the WNC Ag center for the Mountain State Fair. House keeping was effective and DAILY! Front Desk staff friendly and helpful!

The coffee/tea/hot water station was not a 24hour thing. I guess they figured you should settle for the pot in your room. Breakfast had a good variety but the quality of the hot food was pitiful with the exception of the waffle maker & toast/bagel options.

The pool and hot tub were very clean and inviting. And, such a cozy bed...I wanted to buy the pillows from the hotel!!! The staff was friendly. The location is great if you need to get to the airport...it is right across the street. Although I did not require a flight during my trip if I ever need to stay close to the airport I would stay at Wingate Fletcher again.

The breakfast was adequate but the eggs were a little cool. That is a very small price to pay for a good night's sleep.

We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, breakfast was good, waffles, bacon and good biscuits and gravy.

The first room we had, the air conditioner didn't work, they moved us to a new room but when we saw them after they said the air conditioner was working fine. There was a noticeable difference just walking into the rooms. Then, my husband tried to take a bath that night and couldn't get the hot water to work, yet it worked just fine the next morning.

How clean it was..they accommodated my elderly parents, rooms were next to one another, staff were friendly. And fire pit is a nice fit.

It's probably me being picky. Breakfast could have been better. Sausage and bacon could have been cooked a little longer. Should have two waffle makers. Should have had fried potatoes or hashbrowns to go with eggs. The pastries and biscuits should be under a light warmer. Then maybe bigger cups for your juice

This airport was quite literally right across the street from the airport and was extremely convenient for us as we decided to book a stay solely because we were flying out early.

The airport was, all in all, clean. There was a smoke smell that lingered in the lobby but we did not smell it in our room and the room appeared very clean. The website sounded as if the park and fly option at the hotel was actually free. It is not. It is $10 each night. However, it is was still cheaper than the airport and very convenient since they drop you at the front door and pick you up at the front door.

I had previously stayed here before so I knew what to expect. The beds are comfortable and clean. The general environment of the hotel is calm and the staff was kind. I like that the doors are locked and you can only get in with a keycard.

The only downside is that my room was a bit outdated, as in the walls were peeling a bit. The curtains are essentially see-through so if you want to get some sleep, be sure to bring a sleep mask or something to cover your face.

Great location to the Asheville airport and the hotel shuttle started running at 4:30 AM! Awesome for those first flights out. The hotel is just across the street from the airport, so we were there in 5 minutes. We actually could have taken a slightly later shuttle for our 6:10 AM flight. We did not hear any plane noise from our room--a real plus! Although the breakfast wasn't out yet at 4:30, there was coffee and tea to get the day started (apples and oranges were available, too). This hotel is very convenient, clean and the perfect choice if you just need a place to sleep before a flight.

I have no improvements that I can think of.

Check in was seamless. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. The ac was a little unsteady but really cold. Shower was awesome. It is a convenient location for the airport and concert at Sierra Nevada brewery. Slightly older but appears to be kept up fairly well. Breakfast was ok. I would stay again if the need arose. Staff was friendly. Rates were very reasonable.
