Staff was exceptional, hotel was clean and well attended for every need, and the location was perfect for exploring Asheville.

I did not know that they accepted dogs. There were dogs everywhere. Several times I saw the dog sitting on furniture that was either in the lobby or outside on the patio. They also don’t keep the dogs on one floor so they’re all scattered throughout the hotel and I just don’t like the idea of being in a room that a dog was in. If I had known that, they accepted dogs, I would not have booked this hotel.

It was right in the middle of downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The reverse osmosis water on each floor was great, and I liked how you had to use your key card to get to your floor. This helped make it feel more secure. The front desk and valet staff were very helpful and friendly.

I booked a mountain view room but got a city view room. I would have preferred the option to be able to self park instead of having to pay for valet. I had asked housekeeping to leave me extra qtips on a note where I had left tip for the person.. The staff member took the money and read the note but didn't bother to bring me qtips. I had to ask the front desk for it. Not having a computer or being able to print out things seemed odd, given the hotel looks fairly new.

Excellent location, incredibly helpful staff, room was beautiful, bed was way, way above average for comfort. Loved the coffee in the morning and the happy hour as well. Hotel Arras was simply excellent on all counts.

Maybe provide bottled water for the rooms? More clothing hooks in the rooms (I have this complaint about most hotels). Possibly a one-time charge and fee for valet parking. I would love to just pay and tip for the entire visit.

Extraordinary bargain for the holidays. Exceptional view, amazing design of this repurposed business building that sat empty only to become a standout hotel and condos. Stylish, perfect location, really fun staff who clearly take pride in their work and keeping guests happy. One of the best hotel experiences in the US. Can't wait to return.

The only odd thing was the design of the bathroom sink and hardware...the faucet is way too long and the bowl too shallow, which made using the sink a challenge. Otherwise flawless design throughout.

Great location, very accommodating and customer oriented staff, amazing city and Mountain View from our room, loved the complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine happy hour, clean rooms, couldn’t hear other guests above or beside us and appreciated the extra door to close before entering our room as we were near the elevators. We never heard other guests getting on/off.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this property.

All was wonderful including the politeness and attentiveness of the cleaning professionals. The front area people were attentive, friendly, insiteful and helpful in every way. The valets were great. Breakfast wonderful. I really enjoyed the location of my room. The little happy hour fit the bill and certainly the dog friendliness of the hotel added to the overall charming ambience. Arras definitely was a major plus for my stay in Asheville.

We simply had to stay for one night due to traveling from VA. However we absolutely loved the place : staff was great, it was so clean & comfortable . Even though their restaurant & bar were not "fully up" due to MILTON! the bar drinks were delicious & the food in the restaurant was delicious as well . We definitely will go back & stay when we vacation there .

We liked the modern, contemporary style, the welcoming way we were greeted, the efficient elevator system, the cleanliness of the room, the million dollar view, the bar/lounge area, the terrace, the variety of food and beverages, the wood-fired pizza guy, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, the art, and the atmosphere of downtown.

We hard a confusing time finding the valet parking.

Loved the staff, the location, the facility… Most things.

Very disappointed that there wasn't a way to make something hot to drink. Even if coffee makers are not allowed, a microwave would have been helpful. I don't like to have to get dressed in the morning to get my 1st cup of caffeine. Same at night when I want a relaxing cup of tea before bed. I like it nice and hot, so room service is never an option.

This Hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very kind and considerate. They made sure you were taken care of. I was a little worried about the valet parking only, but we were so thankful They had it. Made our stay so much easier. It rained while we were there so they offered umbrellas which was a plus. The bar, District 42 is opposite of the Lobby and was so convenient. Very relaxing atmosphere. Our rooms were very clean and very comfortable. I cannot wait to go back. We will definitely stay her again and again. Looking forward to trying the restaurants next time. 🙂

You can hear the street activities and were woken up by a yelling man on the street one morning. Not the hotels fault and we had a city view so could see what was going on down below which was entertaining also.
