We loved the beauty and history of the home. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONALLY well prepared. The staff were friendly and considerate. The grounds and the home were vey well kept and the character of the decor was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer and gotten in earlier. Although we didn't care for the restroom in our room, WE WILL BE GOING BACK -- just staying in a different room! There are so many amenities in the house we didn't get to enjoy, we want to go back near the Holidays.
We stayed in a room with a most unusual bathroom. We didn't care for the set up.

Wonderful delicious breakfast. So many personal touches and attention to detail in the food and presentation. A very talented chef works behind the scenes, no doubt about it. Beautiful atmosphere. Hospitable, kind, helpful staff. The grounds are impeccable. We stayed in the Savannah cottage which was very quaint and comfortable. Each morning we were greeted by the smell of local coffee available 30 minutes before breakfast. In the afternoons, freshly baked cookies and a Keurig to make a cup of tea, were an added treat. Overall, I highly recommend. This B and B is a true gem.

Nice to have an individual cottage & and a very short walk to the house for breakfast. The chef, Patrick, is a self-taught chef!!! Breakfasts were outstanding!! Each morning was a gastronomic experience. Every morsel was delicious & well prepared. Breakfast elevated the experience of staying at the Beaufort House Inn.
While it is walkable to downtown, it is a lot of uphill. Plus, the main drag to downtown, Merrimom, is heavy traffic, and sidewalks aren't broad. It's a little scary sometimes as 2 lanes of traffic whiz by even when walking single file. Not really a " dislike." However, you can sense the age of the cottage floor as there was an area at the bathroom door that sagged when stepping in that area of the floor. Loved the huge shower with the rain shower. However, there was ample room to add either a corner built-in seat or a bench.

What a great stay! I had the room with the Euro bathroom, and I know some people complained about it but it was totally fine. Great and comfortable room! I came for a weekend for a wedding an the temperature was great, the property is beautiful. Breakfast is SOOOO good, I loved the cookies/treats that they put out during the day, and it was so cool to have happy hour in the afternoon.
The one thing I would love to see is black out curtains because it was just a tad bit too light in the mornings for me to get to sleep in so I put one of the pillows over my head, but honestly the light issue was so trivial, I would stay here again.

I liked everything about the property. I originally planned to travel on my own but my sister tagged along at the last minute. Our room was large enough to accommodate her air mattress. The neighborhood was lovely and the wrap around porch was a bonus for relaxation.
I was disappointed that the breakfast was continental. Having stayed at Cedar Crest this time last year, I looked forward to the prepared breakfast. Bring back the chefs!

It was beautifully landscaped with quite charming grounds. The entrance was also eye catching pulling up to the home. We enjoyed all the sitting for just relaxing from rocking chairs, and swing on the front porch, and the side garden with plenty of seating. The rooms were quite nice and well kept, and the breakfast was delicious and had elegant yet very comfortable feel. The hostess was nice and attentive to anything we may needed. Overall it was a lovely and serene place to stay and we plan on returning to stay again.

Beautiful historic house. We stayed in The Willow Cottage and it was lovely and very comfortable. We had a small balcony with a table and chairs. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing and the service was quick and efficient. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The WiFi wasn't great. Staff/owner (not sure which) was not super friendly so we didn't feel welcomed but maybe she had a bad day.

The staff was terrific. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the home’s history and things to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious and the location was excellent. The main house is stunning with lots of original architecture and charm.
When we booked we did not realize that it was a room behind the main house that was not original to the property. We love Victorian homes and selected this B&B because of all its original features, but unfortunately the room we stayed in lacked the character and charm we were seeking.

The inn was beautiful and our room was so comfy! Our room overlooked the garden but too early to be blooming. The hostess was lovely and shared a lot about the home especially about the hurricane.
We were disappointed that the inn did not serve the complete breakfast but we fully understand why.

The grounds were beautifully landscaped with flowers and trees, with comfortable spaces to sit, including patios and the front porch rockers and swing. We were free to wander. It was a short walk to conveniences -- good restaurants and groceries.
