The people are amazing, the rooms clean and comfortable and the location first rate.

The food options could be improved. Sometimes open, sometimes not. It’s not an issue as there are so many options close by but I’d rather the hotel step up and have a great restaraunt option. Also weirdly no food after 9 pm on Sunday which wasn’t great. Arriving after a long delay w two hungry teenagers and nothing available at the hotel. They should have a 3-5 basic meal option available up to midnight I would say.

Staff was exceptional, hotel was clean and well attended for every need, and the location was perfect for exploring Asheville.

I did not know that they accepted dogs. There were dogs everywhere. Several times I saw the dog sitting on furniture that was either in the lobby or outside on the patio. They also don’t keep the dogs on one floor so they’re all scattered throughout the hotel and I just don’t like the idea of being in a room that a dog was in. If I had known that, they accepted dogs, I would not have booked this hotel.

It was right in the middle of downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The reverse osmosis water on each floor was great, and I liked how you had to use your key card to get to your floor. This helped make it feel more secure. The front desk and valet staff were very helpful and friendly.

I booked a mountain view room but got a city view room. I would have preferred the option to be able to self park instead of having to pay for valet. I had asked housekeeping to leave me extra qtips on a note where I had left tip for the person.. The staff member took the money and read the note but didn't bother to bring me qtips. I had to ask the front desk for it. Not having a computer or being able to print out things seemed odd, given the hotel looks fairly new.

I love the location and the amenities!

I don't like that dogs are allowed to stay at the hotel. The dogs urine in the rooms and the odor is very strong. The hotel should do a better job of cleaning up after the dogs leave. It is very difficult to ignore dogs barking and their odors.

Excellent location, incredibly helpful staff, room was beautiful, bed was way, way above average for comfort. Loved the coffee in the morning and the happy hour as well. Hotel Arras was simply excellent on all counts.

Maybe provide bottled water for the rooms? More clothing hooks in the rooms (I have this complaint about most hotels). Possibly a one-time charge and fee for valet parking. I would love to just pay and tip for the entire visit.

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. We got great recommendations for places to eat. The valets were quick and friendly. We loved the happy hour and complimentary morning coffee too. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was right where we wanted to be.

Because the hotel was in the heart of downtown it was a little noisy at night.

Great location, very accommodating and customer oriented staff, amazing city and Mountain View from our room, loved the complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine happy hour, clean rooms, couldn’t hear other guests above or beside us and appreciated the extra door to close before entering our room as we were near the elevators. We never heard other guests getting on/off.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this property.

The staff was excellent. Every member was friendly, courteous, helpful and respectful. They made you feel special as a customer. The room was modern and very comfortable. The bed enabled a very restful night. The bathroom was modern and very functional with good quality toiletries.

Would be nice if we could have self parked the car but it’s not a big deal.

Extraordinary bargain for the holidays. Exceptional view, amazing design of this repurposed business building that sat empty only to become a standout hotel and condos. Stylish, perfect location, really fun staff who clearly take pride in their work and keeping guests happy. One of the best hotel experiences in the US. Can't wait to return.

The only odd thing was the design of the bathroom sink and hardware...the faucet is way too long and the bowl too shallow, which made using the sink a challenge. Otherwise flawless design throughout.

All was wonderful including the politeness and attentiveness of the cleaning professionals. The front area people were attentive, friendly, insiteful and helpful in every way. The valets were great. Breakfast wonderful. I really enjoyed the location of my room. The little happy hour fit the bill and certainly the dog friendliness of the hotel added to the overall charming ambience. Arras definitely was a major plus for my stay in Asheville.
