Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Title: Worth Every Penny – A Thoughtfully Restored Gem We stayed in Room 206 on May 31, 2025, and our experience at The Windsor exceeded every expectation. This hotel is a true gem—beautifully restored, incredibly comfortable, and full of thoughtful details that make you feel instantly at home. The room was spotless, artfully designed, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. From the kitchen to the bathroom, every corner reflected care and attention. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but this one stands out as truly special. As owners of a historic bed-and-breakfast ourselves—Cypress Lodge in Canal Point, Florida (built in 1936)—we have deep appreciation for properties with character. The Windsor’s restoration is inspiring. They’ve managed to preserve the soul of a historic building while offering the comfort, beauty, and function of a luxury hotel suite. The hospitality was equally impressive—warm, professional, and genuine. You can tell that every team member cares deeply about the guest experience. Simply put, this place is worth every penny. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and eager to return. Highly recommended.

Our stay was to short!

I loved the whole vibe. Leigh was so sweet and helpful. I loved the cleanliness and all the things in the kitchen. You need some spray to wipe down the counter tops Like a fantastic or something. Right in the middle of everything!

Security guard! He let me walk alone oustide witgh my dog at 3am! He shoulkd have at least come to the door to watch me. There was a crazy person trying to talk to me

Small boutique hotel with a nice system door lock system. No annnoying room keys. People were very kind. Complementary beverages and small snacks were nice.

Noisy floors from rooms above. The floors are original hand sawn wood floors from 1900. They squeak so badly that it wakes your partner. Then when the people walk or they clean and you’re in bed, it sounds extremely loud.

excellent location, rooms are adorable, staff is super friendly, unlimited access to water bottles from the lobby fridge (seems like a silly add but, water)

it’s an older building with the original hardwoods so the floors actively creak. Be prepared to be woken up when sometimes needs to get up in the middle of the night

Great location and the rooms size was perfect for my family of 5. It was great to have a full living room and kitchen. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beautifully decorated and nice attention to detail.

Not much would have been better, it was a great stay. The living room was apparently a bit noisy to sleep in, but it was perfectly fine. We stayed one night only.

Able to accommodate our family of 5 in one room. Offered a unique experience. In the heart of downtown. We had a great time exploring on foot.

Our neighbors above us seemed to be running laps in their room and the floors are quite squeeky

I loved everything about this place! We actually got married in one of their beautiful suites and it was a huge hit with everyone who traveled to be there. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, nice, or helpful. I think they were just as excited as we were! Definitely recommend!!

The one and only thing I didn't like was their parking lot being a few blocks away and out of sight. There is a paid parking deck just feet away from the hotel and definitely worth it.

It was charming and in a great location. Close to restaurants and free parking within short walking distance. Great staff and free water and snacks.

We liked everything but keep in mind it is on a busy street and rooms facing Broadway are exposed to street noise.

Huge one bedroom appartment. Great staff that texted info ahead of time to give info. Parking is free a few blocks away. Walking distance of all things downtown.

Wood floor was slippery in the bathroom. No parking place to drop off luggage.
