Parking is limited / or non existent We were not able to park (using the self park $12 per day mandated by Element / property. We waited and looked for 45 mins for a parking spot late at night. All the parking spots were taken and there were no remaining. The only spots were clearly marked TOW ZONE if not a part of the business so we avoided. For a great property to remain in good standing, the parking situation must be improved. Eliminate the cost to park if there are not enough parking spots for guests staying in the hotel.

Bed was very comfy. TV remote had sleep button. Breakfast was very good, not so heavy on carbs.
Workmanship in some of the facilities was shoddy. Handrail in elevator was about to fall off. I reported every day and nothing was done. So I finally told the front desk that I was an 81 year old woman and I depend on things like handrails and if I fall, I was going to sue the he'll out of the hotel. It finally got fixed. It took 3 days. Faucets in room were loose, I expected better. I noticed other sloppy things but difficult to explain. I would have expected more ways to connect electronics at desk. No USB ports, only by bed. No electrical outlets up high so I could reach them. Had to search for ways to connect.

Loved the location and the view from the room. The hotel is new and modern and conformtable.
The heating unit in the room was extremely noisy. It woke us up every hour or so when it came on. That was the only negative.

Perfect location just close enough to walk to downtown Asheville but with all the amenities and wow the view from the 2nd floor space was incredible. The room was extremely spacious and the kitchenette was outstanding. Having the option to even prop open the window was really nice to get a little fresh air into the room. The food was good, standard Marriott. There was even a complimentary happy hour during the week with beer, wine and cheese options. Overall I really don't have any negatives about this place. I appreciated the parking onsite (and even have underground if space available), though you do have to pay extra for parking. Probably one of my favorite perks was the filtered water from the kitchenette sink! This should be in every hotel. So appreciated.
The only thing that I didn't like was they only provided a combo "shampoo/conditioner". To all hotels out there, please provide separate shampoo and conditioner. Pretty please. Since we were staying for an yoga festival event the prices were definitely more expensive than typical prices. Otherwise our stay was fantastic and would definitely return.

We loved having the bikes available to us. We were able to bike to many of the local area breweries and were happy with this experience that was available.

Breakfast was excellent: great variety, quality, and so handy before our early morning flight. Wake up call worked. Quiet overnight. No distracting lights and noises in room.
The sofa bed was not made up before we arrived. Luckily I checked; when I called for bedding and asked for a comforter such as used with the regular beds, I was told that it would be delivered. But when the bedding was delivered, it was just sheets, pillow and 1 blanket. I would have appreciated bedding like the beds had so my son could be comfortable. We were 3 in room -- 2 people in the 2 queens and 3rd person on the sofa bed.

The breakfast was a great addition because it had healthy and satisfying options. The proximity to downtown Asheville and the blue ridge parkway was our main reason for booking here, and there were great dining options within walking distance. Our room had Mountain views which was the icing on top! LOVED the small kitchenette for storing snacks and drinks. Also had a gigantic bathroom.
I wish there were a hot tub, but that’s simply because we were on a road trip and it would’ve been so nice to take a soak. The pool was very busy, but it was during spring break, so it’s totally understandable.

The breakfast was a plus each morning not having to leave the hotel. Only suggestion I have is add a few more things to the hot bar. The location of the hotel was great and within walking distance of downtown without having to cross a major highway.
This is only what I experienced. The internet was not working in the room when we arrived. They did send a maintenance guy in around 7pm to attempt to fix. Gonzalo was able to replace the router and remote to get the TV working. The toilet ran every hour on the hour. This was due to a bad tank gasket I am sure. The only thing I would ask in your representation of the hotel please add the noise level from the major highway traffic. This was not disclosed anywhere and I can understand why. The noise from the traffic was constant even at 2am. When I asked the front desk about it Ian advised the traffic noise is less on the mountain side of the hotel . These are good things to know especially when your traveling from far away.

The amenities- enjoyed the welcome reception and view from the second floor where they host the reception and breakfast. Breakfast was pretty good with a decent selection. Plenty of drink options available throughout the day. Loved the kitchenette in my room, especially the separate little faucet for filtered water. The room was spacious. Used one of the bikes, included in price. The staff was very friendly. Felt safe and clean. I enjoy walking so I found it to be an easy walk to downtown.
Unfortunately hotel sits between a highway and another busy road. My room was on the side of the highway so I can hear the semis and loud traffic throughout the night. Not the hotels fault. I used a sound machine which helped.

The breakfast was delicious. It was well-maintained and clean, while being very inviting. The eggs and meat weren't so great, but that's how it is with any continental breakfast. However, the cereal bar, bread bar, yogurt bar, drink bar, and condiments for all things were GREAT! I love the touch of class that the area has. The all day espresso and coffee bar was a lifesaver.
The only negative would be the eggs and meat, but that's a hard thing to keep delicious all morning and on a buffet. So, that really doesn't reflect on the company or staff.
