Honestly we were a little disappointed with breakfast. Not a big fan of breakfast sandwiches. However the omelettes were very good. The staff was terrific and the pool was very clean and pleasant. The room was amazing! Even with a dishwasher! Quite large and comfy. And having a bar on site was a big plus.

As I stated above, breakfast was lacking. Hot water for tea was tepid and I had to ask for black tea. Tea in the room was much better. However, the lemon lime water was a nice treat.

The location is great and is close to Virginia Tech and main Street. The staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was way below standards. The hotel was out of juice, only had a choice of cereal, an overcooked breakfast burrito, or waffle. The King suite had dirty dishes in the dishwasher from previous occupants, no hand or face soap in the bathroom, and only 1 hand towel 2 wash clothes, 2 bath towels. We expected more from a top hotel brand.

The location was really good. There is a supermarket (Kroger) behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The staff was kind during my stay. The room was big and comfortable. Thanks to all staff!

The breakfast probably had little variety and lacked healthy and natural options like fruits, eggs, natural juice, or granola. The cleaning service hours were confusing.

Staff was great all around.

The only thing I didn't like was that guests were smoking cigarettes on the patio. Being there with my 6 month old, I couldn't sit outside in the morning because of people smoking cigarettes. When we left someone else was right outside the lobby doors smoking while sitting on the bench. I think they should enforce the no smoking within so many feet of the building. It's not fair that nonsmokers and babies can't enjoy the outdoor facilities.

Great hotel in close proximity to area restaurants and shops and even a movie theatre within walking distance! One can also easily walk to downtown and Virginia Tech Campus from the hotel. Nice amenities and great customer service at the front desk!

Elevator floor could have been cleaner but overall property was well maintained and had good amenities and much to offer.

Clean, stylish, family hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with small kitchen inside. The property also has washing machine and dryer which is great for family in a long trip. Breakfast was included and it was very tasty.

Room layout, size and kitchenette were a perfect size for 2. Probably for 4 also. Beds, chair and couch were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Pool was clean and good temperature. Personnel were fantastic. And outdoor gas grills?? Yes! Location? Excellent.

This is the tough one. But for the following issue, this hotel would have received top marks across the board. Upon inspecting the bathroom, there were trimmed pubic hairs all over the floor, top vanity surface and towels. Totally unacceptable. The front desk clerk came up and did a total cleaning and replacement of towels. That was the saving grace. But this can not happen in any hotel, but especially in a higher-end facility.

Convenient location for visiting VT, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store, clean rooms and facilities, nice kitchen area in room.

This hotel has a modern bar/outdoor seating area with a fire pit adjacent to the front entrance. The not-so-nice part is that several people were smoking in this area, so upon arrival we had to walk through a giant cloud of smoke just to get inside the hotel. It is not a pleasant experience to be greeted with the terrible smell of cigarettes. Ban the smoking!

Location, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff

Few obvious broken things needed to be fixed in the room. Missing bedding for sofa bed. Empty bottles in bathroom and no extra roll toilet paper ready available. However everything was addressed promptly.

Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were great. Loved the attention to detail.

I didn’t have soap for hand washing and none was available. My room was near the exit door and the frequent noise left me leaving with little sleep.
