The staff was ready and attentive. I arrived a little late, but they were still friendly and got me checked in super quickly. I had parking, the room was comfy, and I brought my dog. There is a pet fee but its not bad, he is also very quiet so I wasnt worried about barking. I did see some cute stray cats outside so beware before turning your car on. The location was nice, right across from the gas station but off the highway enough that you don't hear cars at all.

My neighbors were up for a while, which kept me from falling asleep quickly, but the AC fan helped drown it out, and that was super nice. The bathroom could use .... decorations? It was nice and up to date but just didnt feel homey like other hotels lol maybe a painting? idk

This motel was a good bargain. The quality was perfectly fine, although not outstanding. Staff were friendly, facilities were clean and orderly. My diet put the included breakfast off limits, but it appeared adequate for travelers wanting a quick bite before leaving for the day. It was perfect for someone traveling on a budget.

I had two minor complaints that I didn’t even feel merited raising with the employees: The bathroom sink drain was very slow. The ironing board had a bent leg and was usable but not very stable for ironing. These minor issues did not inconvenience me particularly.

The front desk lady was friendly

She didn't know the only ice maker on the second floor was broken. Only ice maker and soda machines were on the first floor. No elevator, my 86 yr old mother was with me and had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room. I booked a 2 double bed room and they had me under a 1 with pull out sofa on the first floor. The hotel needs a n upgrade, rubber on the steps are coming apart. That's an accident waiting to happen. The carpets are stained and narly. The channels on the cable network , the pixels were breaking up. Breakfast wasn't very appealing either. Won't stay there again. We were going to Shepardstown then Harper's Ferry. Will find another place next time.

Quiet, rural location. Modern and very clean. Friendly staff.

My only complaint is the bed. I asked for a handicapped room as I have mobility issues and the room was fine. The bed however was way too tall for my 5' frame. I asked if they had a portable step to assist me getting into bed and they did not. I had to jury rig my walker in order to get into bed. Not the safest way to do it. I would suggest making it clear what you all mean by a handicapped room or perhaps just have somethnig like a step available. I would have gladly given you a security deposit (refundable) to make my visit a safer experience.

The staff were nice and helpful. The rm was clean, had a microwave, and refrigerator. It was quiet, and breakfast included cerials, toast, bagels, yogurt, juices, and eggs with sausage patties and waffles. It is close to an area with restaurants and shopping.

My only concern was that my neighbors were really smoking it up even though all the rooms had a nonsmoking sign on the door. I checked in on a Sun night, and the cannabis smoke was all over the hallway. Thankfully, my rm had no smoke, or I would have asked to be moved. My guess is they will be getting billed a cleaning fee.

One staff member wasn’t the friendliest. Seemed bothered when she had to attend to guests. Our room keys stopped working and I needed one of them fixed and we booked an additional night I was paying for and she was on her Bluetooth for almost the whole time I was at the front desk. I asked a question about the price because it was a few dollars different than what I remembered and her reply was “i looking right at it and it says …” I wasn’t arguing anything just wanted to know what I missed. Needless to say, if I needed anything from the front desk, I waited until someone else was working

Customer service disappointed that I ask if I have a choice on the 1st floor or upper level. personal intake did not answer my question and gave me 2nd floor. I want it on the first floor. That was my request. I didn't want to make it a scene in the lobby, so I just accepted it. I struggled a little bit going up the steps, no elevator

Our grandson surprised us by coming to see us. The hotel staff was very accommodating by bringing in a rollaway bed. We really were happy.

No kleenex in the room. Getting in thru the side entrance didn't always work.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet of this being a little distance away from other places.

Well, the morning that we were leaving the man working the front desk was "asleep" or possibly "on something" at the front desk. Myself and another guest tried to wake him up several times with no luck.

The breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond. My daughter accidentally pulled her orange juice and one of the staff members jumped to clean up her spill and make me feel like everything was okay.
