My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days due to being on call to be induced to have our baby at the hospital and we live over an hour away. When entering, I was surprised to see how clean the room and lobby area was. The lobby had a lot of fun games and activities to offer. It looked very comfortable as well. The employees were are incredibly nice, welcoming, and accommodating. Breakfast was okay. I felt it could've been a little more extensive as far as options go. They obviously allow pets and I was pleased to see all the well behaved pups walking around. The gym looked nice when walking by. The bed was very comfortable, even at 9 months pregnant. I loved the way the room was set up but would have appreciated a bigger fridge and microwave in the room. They do have a microwave you can use in the lobby. The shower was very nice but be careful if you have kids, it gets very hot very fast! My husband and I stayed in room 235, at the very end of the hall and were incredibly happy to unexpectedly have such a great view of all the fireworks. There were some unsavory characters walking around the hotel at some points but we never felt unsafe.

I have been staying often in Martinsburg in a much cheaper place while I visited my cousin. It was quite a bit cheaper, but it was clean and convenient if dated, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Sadly, my cousin passed away and since I was coming for the last time, I decided to pay a little more (only about $25) for a better experience. This hotel is clean, modern, comfortable with lots of features for people with disabilities. The breakfast was outstanding with several forms of protein, the one thing I look for.

The bathroom light switch was inconveniently placed inside the bathroom where you had to reach around some big dispensers. No way to turn on the light from outside. No ice buckets in the room, only on the first floor next to the ice machine, which wasn't working. The only other ice machine was on the third floor, but there are no buckets there.

We were not aware that our room would not be cleaned the day after we arrived. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, We went out all day Saturday and returned to an unclean room with not fresh towels and trash in the pails not emptied. We went to the front desk and were told rooms were cleaned every other day as it was the "slow season" and we needed to make a request in order to have the room cleaned if we wanted. We were not told this when we checked in.

The hotel lobby was neat and provided so many things to do there and amenities (24 hr.hot beverages, a mini mart and games). The staff were very friendly and they kept everything clean. Breakfast offered a good variety of food and was well stocked. The room was huge with good use of space and good amenities ( 2 types of toilet paper😁). Beds comfy and decor was a retro, modern look. The location was nice & quiet but still close to stores and restaurants.This hotel is near to our son's house and we will stay there again.

It’s clean modern very well done and in ideal location close proximity to restaurants and stores. Rooms are new and beds comfortable. Pillows were fresh clean and comfortable for sure newer. There is also a play area in the lobby for kids which was appreciated since I traveled with kids. I love tru in various locations never disappointed as of yet.

Coffee wasn’t strong enough tasted like they forgot to add new pod —> flat

The breakfast was good. Plenty of options. The coffee is ok. The hotel is very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Directions to the hotel. The turn off of 81 onto Foxcroft Avenue near the Chick-fil-a is extremely easy to miss and in a very crowded traffic area. Use another road to make a loop around the restaurants and stores or come in off of King Street to Mall Drive.

Great place to stay! We previously booked 1 night but when we decided to stay another night we made sure to stay here again. Affordable, clean and the staff is wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to stay in a hotel in the area. They also have free breakfast.

The only thing that wasn't a 10/10 for me was the breakfast as far as hot food goes but they had a good assortment of breads, cereals, yogurt etc.

Bed was very comfortable and the shower was the best I've ever used. The A/C worked great. The hotel was clean and in a very convenient location to services. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The room was a bit on the smaller side. We didn't have our room serviced during our stay. No closet or place to put luggage.

My fiancé and I traveled to Martinsburg overnight and the stay at Tru was excellent. Hotel was very peaceful, clean, and our room was comfortable. Breakfast was good especially the pancakes. Very business savvy place good for travelers who need somewhere to stay for a work related trip.

Nothing to complain about but wish there was a pool!

Everything was excellent! The hotel is very clean and tidy. It opened recently, so everything looks very modern. I loved the design of the lobby and the room. The lobby had a pool table, coffee, and tea. We even managed to do our laundry in the laundry room located on the first floor. Highly recommend it to everyone!
