Huge improvement from the last time I booked. My previous stay last year was fine, normal. The place is clean and cannot complain for the price. Breakfast served, good and fair for the price. This time I noticed huge improvement, like the AC perfectly working (just make sure the windows are fully closed, curtains down when the sun is facing directly to avoid humidity - summer heat feels like 50C lol). Room is clean and neat, shower rooms complete with toiletries (dental kit to be requested at the reception). The staffs were all friendly, approachable and are always attentive to any request. I must say they have improved a lot this year. I will definitely stay here again, it is near to open beach access- restaurants and small stores nearby.

I gave full mark rating not for luxury. I gave it cos this hotel serves a specific purpose. This hotel is fairly decent and cheaper than other options. If ur purpose is just having a roof over ur head close to Al Aqah, then it is what u need. No great view, no great location, no outstanding amenities. Rooms are acceptable, it is calm, many restaurants and supermarkets around. This hotel is ur budget friendly practical option in Al Aqah, and for that purpose specifically, it deserves 5 stars.

Nothing. Fits it's purpose for a short stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was nice and clean, the location is perfect as the hotel is surrounded by private beaches and mountains and the price is very affordable.

The hotel was extremely clean bed was comfy bathroom was extremely clean. Ac was super cold I liked it. View of the mountains was pretty aswell. We had the breakfast buffet addon which was delicious, the mushrooms were to die for. Parking is available. Alot of local restaurants near by if you don't fancy hotel food. Very fast check out exceeded all my expectations.

Dental kit wasnt in the room but they provided it when requested.

Great location with a couple of minutes' drive to the beach; many restaurants / food options available nearby; swift check-in and check-out; very friendly staff. An excellent option for vacation, especially if you prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of metropolises. The breakfast was ala carte but had enough options; we loved it! Strongly recommended for families, friends, solo travelers, everybody!

They have re-painted and built a new restaurant downstairs. The lady at the reception was kind enough to provide us with the kind of room we wanted. Everything was clean and great for the price.

I just had one snag. Around 6 in the morning, a staff member from the hotel tried repeatedly entering the code to enter into my room. I woke up and when I opened the door, he just blankly stared at me for almost 10 seconds and then walked away. I did complain about this to the lady from the reception and she apologized but this type of behavior should never have happened.

Location and the price , mountains , staff

Everything was good , very nice and helpful staff especially Front desk Mr AMR from Egypt and the African house keeping lady . They did everything to make us happy . I have stayed in so many 5 stars hotels and haven’t received this hospitality . So close to the beach and to the city . Mirage hotel is the ONLY affordable and nice hotel in that area .

Staff was very kind and helpful. the restaurant is big and the breakfast is delicious. very clean rooms and great value for money. I am definitely coming back.

Not the greatest location. Do not expect sea view but is fairly close from the nearby beaches. The bar disappeared :(.

Staff was very friendly. We had the rooftop pool all to ourselves. Convenient location, right on Highway 11. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

There was little water pressure on the 6th floor and thus little water for shower. The shower ceiling was lacking a panel. We were told we could not use the other location, the Mirage located on the beach, but when we went there on our last day, the porter told us that we could indeed. I wished we had known. Also disappointing was that he price we paid through Booking without breakfast was almost twice as high as we saw it advertised elsewhere with breakfast included.
