We came to Dubai for a family wedding and, after reading great reviews and seeing beautiful pictures of The Sonder, we decided to book our stay here. Even with high expectations, the hotel still managed to exceed them! One major factor was the included parking, along with the option to add extra services like breakfast and cleaning if needed, which gave us flexibility during our stay. For a family of 5, the unit was incredibly spacious with a modern design and offered breathtaking views of the JBR, including The Palm and the beaches, through the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. It was truly a sight to wake up to every morning! As guests, we had full access to the pool and beaches, and we never had an issue finding a chair to relax by the water. Whenever we needed anything—whether it was more towels or a restock on toilet paper—the staff were quick and efficient in delivering it to our room. The fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic convenience for our family, and with our longer stay, we also made good use of the washing machine and dryer. It felt like a perfect blend of a luxury hotel and a home away from home. This was truly a dream vacation for our family, and we can’t recommend staying at The Sonder enough! We can't wait to be back!

Huge apartment, super spacious with everything you could need. Comfy beds & great aircon. Location is brilliant - JBR right on the doorstep with loads of restaurants, bars, shops etc.

There are not enough sun beds at the pool for a property with this many rooms. There is no system to stop guests reserving beds too early in the morning or leaving them unoccupied for hours.

It's the perfect location for a vacation in Dubai, especially if you are with your family. The apartment was way bigger than expected, everything was super clean and the service fast and impeccable.

The pool area is great and direct access to the beach a plus, but people tend to reserve the sun loungers and if you are not early you are unlikely to get one even if the person whose towel is lying there does not use them for most of the day. You are not allowed to bring drinks with you which I can understand but just plain water is crazily expensive. If you don't mind that, it's perfect.

No heater in the room , room was cold. None of the window can be opened. While checkout , no answer from reception by phone even though I called 3 times , I took my 5 luggages to my car.

OK I promised myself I would write a worthy review for the people at Sonder after my stay so here it is: 1. Location If you know Dubai then you know JBR is a very popular place to stay. We arrived at Sonder early in the morning and were given a check in time of around 1pm. It was quiet at this time, no traffic and we had plenty to do before checking in. The hotel apartments are located in the heart of JBR attached to the Rixos and JBR beach. Everything is available within a 5 min walk, food, restaurants, market, groceries, pharmacy, beach, mosque, absolutely everything you need! 2. Staff Staff are very friendly and accommodating meeting all requests where possible and doing everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. They respond to phone queries near enough immediately and message enquiries on the same day. Always happy, smiling and welcoming! 3. The Apartment I don't know where to start with this but we got the 4 bedroom plus maids room so 5 bedrooms and the panoramic apartment we had was humongous, literally 4000 sqft with panoramic views and so much more space than needed. We were 5 people but 9 people could easily stay in this apartment with facilities including a washer dryer, bathtub, iron, safes, sofa, dining chairs,.fully kitted kitchen and great TV. It felt like luxury from the get go! Easily the highlight of the stay. Underground free parking and a great pool jacuzzi area (private Jacuzzis for hire) with loads of food and drink options All in all, it was a fantastic stay with a great hotel, great staff and many memories!

Nothing, I can't think of a thing I didn't like. If I could I'd make the check in time earlier as the earliest one can check in is 1pm.

The Sonder apartments were brilliant, we stayed in room 901, the apartment was huge, big spacious rooms, the views were amazing and the staff were so helpful also the location was perfect, so much to do, would definitely recommend

I feel that the music at the pool area was far too loud and on repeat also they could be doing with more sunbeds

Everything about the property was fantastic, location, facilities, staff, food, it really was luxurious. There was just 1 negative (it will only be a negative for some people).

I originally booked a 1 bedroom apartment sea facing for myself wife and daughter. All 1 bedroom apartments are on the first and second floor. In the pool area they play very loud thumping music 7 days a week, 10am to 7pm, so if you’re in a 1 bedroom sea facing room there is absolutely no escape. Due to this I upgraded our room at a cost of about £1000 (for the week) to a 3 bedroom apartment on the 34th floor, it was incredible, but even from that height you could still here the music a little but not too much. If I would have stayed on the first floor where my original room was located, it would have driven me crazy by the end of the first day.

Around the pool the non stop thump thump of the very loud music ruined it. We went to The Ritz Carlton beach for some peace !!

I rented a 3 bedroom apartment for my family for a week. Everything was perfect. They even want to stay at the hotel to fully enjoy its services instead of going sightseeing outside. The hotel swimming pool is perfect and very nice views !!! Apartment with full amenities. The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will be back again in the near future. The perfect place for a family trip!!!
