The property is very nice and clean, very modernly maintained. We had a very comfortable stay, staff are amazing really polite and helpful, it was a very cold night but the heating system was outstanding. Menu was really good it had alot of choice and the food was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious, overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to go again and again.

There’s not much that I can say I didn’t like because everything was just perfect but only 1 thing is that disappointed me a little was that there’s no elevators in the whole property so for a person like me with disabilities it’s difficult to walk on stairs but it’s kind of my fault in this too because if I told them they could have offered me a ground floor room.

Breakfast was lovely… and both of our party are celiac … so the chef cooked our breakfast separately to the buffet.., staff very knowledgeable on gluten free food.

The restaurant closes at nine thirty but room service didn’t start til eleven.. one night we missed the restaurant but couldn’t order anything for nearly two hours…and the restaurant hours were misleading because despite the menu in room saying we could order from 11am to 11pm… this was not the case.. and we had a type one diabetic with us… luckily we were taught by hospital staff to always carry food with us so we were ok but if you don’t travel like that then you need to be aware that restaurant opening hours are until 9.39 with last orders at 9.15 and you can’t order room service till 11pm

Because I booked through Booking.com and not direct with the hotel, I was charged £5 a night for parking (£20 total). I met a colleague on two of the days I was there and as he was eating and drinking at the hotel then his charges were waived, however, it was me paying for his food and drink! Regardless of the reason given by the hotel, it seems nonsense if the point is to stop people leaving their cars and taking up spaces which are for residents that I was charged when I was a resident myself, it shouldn't matter who I booked with.

Pool was very good. Hotel seems to have been newly renovated. I request a quiet room and they gave me a really quiet one, very happy about it.

The pillows were too soft for me. I need something like memory foam or just a firm pillow. I asked for firmer pillow a couple of times and the hotel just doesn’t have it. The mattress was has also seen better days, as it was curved from heavy use. So I could hardly sleep on the 3 nights I stayed there as I wasn’t comfortable in the bed. I do acknowledge that this wouldn’t have been the case for someone who likes fluffy pillows and soft mattresses. No mini fridge in the bedroom.

I liked the cleanliness of the property and felt safe in my room. The room and Lobby area are very modern and have a lovely aesthetic. Felt well worth my money.

I did not like having a door linked to the room next door as I could hear everything in the room next to me. This makes the room not very sound proof, the room next to me not linked with a door you couldn’t hear anything at all so the linking door definitely allows more sound to enter rooms. Thankfully only adults were in my room but if a child had been in the room it would not have been very appropriate at all! We suffered 2hrs straight (9:30pm -11:30pm) of listening to a very loud couple. We were very close to calling reception asking to swap rooms if possible however, this felt very awkward to do.

Hotel was in a good location for us visiting Waddesdon Manor, Bletchley Park and Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel was clean and of a high standard. Our room was a decent size and had good air conditioning. The bed and pillows were comfortable and room facilities were basic but good. The swimming pool was a nice size and not too busy. The restaurant and bar were nice a spacious with a lovely outdoor area. Food was good and resturant staff lovely.

The whole experience was effortless from check in to check out. Staff on reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and so cheerful. It was great they were able to check us into our rooms at 12.30. That was a real bonus with us being at a family Xmas lunch. Great to see the bar was open until 12 this visit. Much better than 11 when we visited in April. The breakfast is very good too, excellent quality, constantly replenished and good range on offer. Parking is free too. I book here for that reason alone.

Only niggle was the coffee and tea stations. There is always queues. It used to be pots of tea and coffee offered and brought to your table and that would be great if reinstated. This would relieve pressure on the latte etc machines. Especially when one was out of order.

The staff were fabulous. Each individual was thoughtful, helpful and seemed happy in their work. Nothing was too much trouble. They all went out of their way to give us a good experience, from the pancakes my daughter ordered at breakfast to the room service I received on my birthday. The room was comfortable, peaceful and the air conditioning kept us at a comfortable temperature despite the heatwave.

The only feedback I gave to the receptionist on checkout was that the TVs in the communal areas (which were on silent) could have subtitles enabled. This would mean people could follow what was being said and it'd be more inclusive.

Very fresh & spotlessly clean in communal areas & bedrooms. Light bright & airy. Good leisure facilities & nice outdoor space. Free parking & plenty of spaces. Surprisingly quiet location as only just off major A road. Reception staff friendly & helpful.

Service in restaurant for dinner was very slow & involved change of servers which made it even slower. One of our group has food allergies and that seemed overly complicated Object to paying automatic service charge when buying drinks at the bar. The only “service” was pouring the drinks. Also paying with cash was problematic- though no notice to say “card payments only”.

The hotel was very pleasant, the service was great and the facilities were really good. We booked to go to the nearby Harry Potter Tour the location was perfect only 25 mins away by car. We had breakfast which was delicious and plenty full and the kids ate free which was a bonus. We have family close by and have decided that when we visit we would absolutely stay here!
