Excellent accommodation - clean and excellent facilities. The staff were superb. Breakfast was excellent. VERY short walk to Summerleaze beach and sea pool, both of which we spent a lot of time at. We also very much enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, particularly watching the sunset on our final night. Bliss!

Quite noisy. We stayed in the Retreat and there is a generator next to the property which is loud. It also is close to the kitchen so you can hear them playing the radio loudly and emptying bottles regularly. It did NOT affect our enjoyment of the stay though.

The location was really good overlooking the bay

Some of the décor was a little tired, threadbare sections on the stair carpet for example. In general I wouldn't describe it as luxurious considering the price paid; I stayed at another place afterward in Cornwall at 2/5 of the price which was pretty similar in standard. I have stayed in luxurious places but this isn't one of them. There were few car parking spaces (3, 2 of them occupied by cars which didn't move the entire time we were there) and the roadside parking was usually full, so each time we went out there was anxiety about whether we would find anywhere to park when we got back. There was nothing particularly wrong, I enjoyed my stay, but was expecting something more special.

Fantastic stay at The Beach. I was lucky enough to get my room on offer so price was great for the size of the room and everything else. Breakfast was included which I actually didn't realise and was delicious so that was a win. Room was massive, bed was sooo comfy, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They also gave me a fan for the room. The worst thing about my stay is that I probably won't be able to go again unless I find another offer!

The room was big but at the rear of the hotel and below ground level so although it had 3 windows these couldn't be opened and opening the shutters wasn't an option as they opened onto the rear entrance so had people walking past. That being said, this really didn't impact my stay and I did know in advance but would have been disappointing otherwise. Parking is difficult though that isn't their fault and they gave me directions to multiple alternative parking spots nearby.

The hotel is well kept with clean, spacious rooms with everything you need. Little details were thought of to make you feel welcomed and well looked after. We went on our first family holiday as a 4 with our new born baby and 4 year old. Facilities for the baby were top and they were engaging with our 4 year old. We’ve gone away before when young children haven’t been acknowledged. It was small things like setting up child friendly plates and utterly at breakfast as well as tweaking the breakfast menu for him. Location is brilliant. We’ll 100% be back again!

We’ve stayed at this property many times and it is in a perfect location for any trip to Bude. The hotel sits right above the beach with excellent sea views and is in easy walking distance to the town. The rooms are clean & bright and so comfortable. We stayed in many rooms across the hotel and standard remains consistent over each visit. We only ate breakfast at the property and it was excellent with a great choice of quality food. All the staff we interacted with professional and so friendly. Another excellent visit to The Beach.

I booked a long weekend here for my brother in laws birthday to celebrate his big 40 and everything was outstanding! The suite we stayed in was superb and minus a couple of touch ups is the perfect home away from home for a few nights and it has everything you need to make it a relaxing vacation. The accommodation comprised two bedrooms, a single and a double with big bathroom consisting of roll top bath and double shower as well as mini kitchen, lounge and terrace area. The bonus for us was the back access so we could walk right out onto the nearby beach and not have to come back through main entrance-very handy! The staff here are absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly and attentive and the breakfast and drinks were excellent. We loved the Bar Area inside and out for a relaxing beverage in the day and evening and the atmosphere was great. The decor defo gives off luxury vibes and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for a fabulous stay we didn’t want to leave! We love Cornwall our home away from home….

The walls could do with paint touch ups it’s looking a little tired as is some furniture. The glass at breakfast had lipstick on it.

The staff were very pleasant & friendly. Bed was very comfortable!. Bar/restaurant was very nice and had excellent views overlooking the beach.

The room was in need of limited service, e.g. the shower controls were loose and the cubicle leaked so water sprayed on to the floor each time it was used. The residents should be informed that the bar/restaurant is not part of the hotel business so not given the option of a room tab, also, not offered a discount on purchases made in the bar.

We recently stayed near Bude Beach, and overall, it was a great experience. The room had a lovely ambiance, with a neat and tidy feel thanks to the minimalist interior and clean white walls, which gave it a fresh and modern look. Breakfast was enjoyable. I had the smoked salmon, which was nice, but I felt it could have been improved with some hollandaise sauce, as it was a bit dry. Dinner at the restaurant, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing—no complaints there! The staff were wonderful—very welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. As for the location, it was perfect for us. Being close to the beach was exactly what we wanted, and the proximity to town made it even more convenient. In summary, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it, but perhaps a little adjustment to the breakfast offering (like adding hollandaise sauce) would make it even better!

Wobderful Breakfast was served early, I chose 07.00 as was travelling for work. I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival. The room was beautifully appointed with great quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate and corniche biscuits. Fresh milk and water every day in the fridge too. The bathroom was large with a roomy walk in shower and a huge modern bath. Spotlessly clean. I've eaten in the evening at this hotel many times because the quality and presentation of the food is great and the venue is always thriving which tells you how good it is.

There's nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The Beach is in the most perfect location with stunning views of Summerleaze beach. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and this was across the board, no matter who was on duty. Our room was gorgeous, overlooking the beach, it was modern and bright and very clean. The bathroom was huge and again spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel which is called Elements, it has a really funky vibe and a fab terraced area which looks out to sea, we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside when we arrived in some lovely Autumn sun. We ate here both nights and the food was fab, staff here are also lovely and really friendly. Breakfast was served here too and was so good. We will definitely return to the beach and would highly recommend. One review said parking was tricky, when we arrived we were able to park straight outside and parking is free. I imagine in peak season it would be more difficult due to the volume of visitors to the beach but there is lots of parking around and a huge public car park a few meters from the hotel.
