The location, right on the main A39, the 'Atlantic highway', was ideal. The inn is very remote otherwise, but near Bude, Launceston and other towns. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. The proprietor and staff were very hospitable. The breakfast was good. I would willingly stay again.

The inn is old and not that disabled friendly, which is quite to be expected. The stairs up to the rooms is quite steep, and there were 2 steps in my room leading to the bathroom, so not for anyone less agile.

Breakfast was amazing, really lovely and a perfect start to the day, We was both looked after really well as we arrived a touch early, A big thank you to Laura, Stuart, & of the Chef, whos dinner was superb, lovely friendly people and I will definitely come back to stay again, thank you

There was nothing I didn’t like, I found everything very comfortable & pleasant

The place was clean comfortable very welcoming, the staff were very friendly very helpful but the cost were quite expensive for breakfast. I had one rush of bacon and one egg and that cost £14 which I consider rather expensive.

I like the friendless and the comfort and the designer lead of the property

Room was cosy old charm exactly as you would expect from such an old building. The Landlady was so friendly and helpful and we found it great to have good food on tap seeing as we arrived late on a Sunday afternoon ! The Westcountry Inn is exactly what it says it is. Good solid clean accommodation in an old coaching Inn. .ps having the paddocks to walk the dogs was an added bonus

Lovely hospitality and really enjoyed our stay here. Nice and quiet and we were able to spend some great time conversing with the Owners and other Guests. Highly recommend you try this accommodation. Food, i.e. Breakfast & Dinner were great too!

Nothing to dislike

Very good location, comfortable, clean. My dog was welcomed, parking onsite and I enjoyed my stay. Having read previous reviews, I do wonder what planet some people are from....this is a 16th Century coaching inn, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderfully quirky. There are plenty of budget chain hotels available for those who prefer that sort of thing. If I need accommodation in this area in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

To be honest, there wasn't anything I didn't like.

Nothing to dislike - if you like staying in older historic places rather than modern places then this place is ideal - shower was on small side and not very powerful but water was hot so nothing to complain about

Lovely building, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good value for the area and very comfortable, with a decent menu and tasty food

Drinks were very expensive. Service could be slow due to staff having to multi-task. Check-in isn't until 5pm which isn't ideal

Staff were lovely. there is a jacuzzi and it was really enjoyable to relax in the evening. The history of the place is great and it has been kept to make us feel how things would have been then.

I was a little disappointed by the food. I would have preferred fresh ravioli.

Craig and Simon couldn't do enough for us. We're a group of 11 female motorcycle riders on a weekend away. Very pleasant stay. Safe bike parking on tarmac too! Very important for bikers.
