Everything was spot on! We expect a clean room and option for breakfast. We were provided with very nice clean, tidy rooms. Great options for breakfast far more than I'd expect . cereals, fruits, yogurt, toast , jam, fruit loafs, choice of bread/toast, waffle,brioche choice of milks. Even nice machine coffees made for us. We paid for a cooked breakfast one of the days and that was ace, cooked to order, really nice. Brilliant! On top of this Paula was really kind giving more tea for the room when we finished what was given in the room, I think is generous. Lovely wildlife and pond with picnic benches you can enjoy. I appreciate seeing wild flowers and plants growing to feed to bees and other wildlife. Our family really enjoyed the games room, pool, table tennis and football table all enjoyed. Even a basket ball hoop in the yard. We had a relaxing stay, everything we could need was provided. Honest hardworking family. Thanks again.

Other reviews must be a lot of people needy and expecting everyone to wipe their ass. Couldn't and don't need to fault this place.

Everything about the place was superb. The place was beautiful.. lovely and peaceful and quiet.. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and it was lovely to have a kettle and fridge in the room. Continental breakfast was far better than we expected. We look forward to returning before too long

Only a three small points. The room would have been better if there had been a couple of hooks on which to hang clothes. We just had to drape them over the edge of the bed. The lead for the shower ( in the bath) was so short that the only way it could be used was by sitting or kneeling in the bath tub. A longer lead would be a welcome improvement It would have been better if real coffee ( ie not instant) could have been included in the continental breakfast

Lovely clean and spacious room. Very comfortable beds and I loved the decor of the room. Fresh towels and room cleaned each day. Very nice continental breakfast and plentiful. My husband and son had a full english on our last day, they said it was delicious. Spot on location for us, we spent time in Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Clovelly all of which we would recommend to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner is lovely and chatty and works extremely hard.

Paula was very nice and helpful. We had everything we needed for our stay in the room. Fresh towels everyday was a nice touch. Breakfast was continental which was included with the room price ..... a good start to the day. The farm is pretty. Double bed is comfy to sleep. She let us checkout a bit later because my son had a meeting.......thank you Paula. We had a nice stay.

The shower cord is too short to take a proper shower. The single bed mattress is a bit too springy.

Breakfast was great (continental style, I enjoyed the berries, yogurt and granola), and I enjoyed talking with Paula who was warm and friendly. I was the only guest, and had plenty of peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water.

I found the overhead lights in my room rather harsh, and would have liked to be able to turn them on individually. I was a bit chilly in the early morning and late evening, but couldn't get any heat via the radiators.

Great place to stay with our 2 dogs. The room was really comfortable with great facilities- added bonus of a dog walking field. The continental breakfast was plentiful with great coffee.

We had a wonderful stay at Barton Gate Farm. The room was spacious and perfectly comfortable for three people. Everything was clean and tidy, and we especially appreciated the large bathroom. The farm is incredibly peaceful, offering a quiet retreat away from the town, yet still conveniently located just a 6–7 minute drive away — and Bude Beach is only about 15 minutes by car, making it a great base for exploring the area.

breakfast was good , room was perfect , welcome was good and nice place in a great location near to bude, would definitely stay again and great for dogs

only thing i was hoping for was bit more from the games room , needs bit of a clean and tidy up and some lighting but i can see you are very busy with everything else so feel bit harsh but this is something we was looking forward to using it during our stay

had nice brown bread for toast, with butter and jams for breakfast. Large, secure parking area for my LDV van with recently purchased motorcycle in the back. No light pollution, pitch black when you turned the room light off, great for a good nights sleep and seeing the stars.

As a time served joiner, the quality of fit and finish of carpentry in the room wasn't up to my high standards of craftsmanship, but most people probably wouldn't notice.

The breakfast was excellent and very much appreciated.

The tea and coffee making facility wasn’t great. Also no glasses for wine, beer etc. A small bottle fridge would have been much appreciated for fresh milk, rather than the capsules provided, it would have kept the bottle of water chilled too. Also would have been used to keep the bottle of wine chilled.
