A warm welcome to a home from home environment Beautiful garden with seating areas for guests to relax Delicious breakfast adapted to individual needs and timed to perfection to be served at its best Location made both north Cornwall and Devon easily accessible yet there was no road noise to disturb us overnight Nothing was too much trouble for Terry and Allison to ensure that my mobility challenges could be met We were also impressed that unlike most Bed and Breakfast establishments bringing in takeaway was actively encourages with the provision of crockery, cutlery and even a microwave to make sure that curry was really hot

Alison and Terry were very friendly and welcoming. They did everything to ensure we had all we needed. It was unusually cold for September, so Terry lit the wood burning stove in the cosy guest sitting room, and put the heating on in our bedroom. The room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of drawers and a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers. It had views of the lovely garden which, sadly, wasn’t warm enough to sit in! Terry gave us lots of useful local information. The breakfast was absolutely delicious… the best I’ve had in a B&B!

We had a wonderful few days at West Point guest house. We received a really warm welcome and were made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for Terry and Allison who went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay, even lighting the Log burner for us on a slightly chilly August evening. It felt like a real “ home from home”, thank you both so much.

If there was any negative at all it was just that you really needed to get in the car to find somewhere to eat or drink but it was not a problem for us.

We were made to feel very welcome, really nice friendly hosts and went out their way to make sure we had a nice time. Breakfast was really well cooked, brought to our table exactly at the time we asked for it. Good quality cooked breakfast products, especially bacon cooked to our taste and poached eggs perfect as was the porridge. Our room was the suite, really spacious and immaculate. Love the log burner and the tv/dvd player, we took some dvds and enjoyed watching them. Also, we had the use of a fridge was really handy, so we could store fresh milk and snacks. Great idea, all b&bs should provide guests with a fridge to use. We would definitely return.

I would like to suggest a more varied continental breakfast and better cereals such as Kellogs would be a great addition to the wonderful cooked options, which were really good quality, cooked well and plentiful. I was thinking about foods such as yoghurt and prepared fruit and nuts and granola. This is only an idea and only a minor improvement suggestion as our stay was otherwise perfect. A bedside lamp on both sides of bed would be good, so either person can read if they want to.

Everything about West Point B&B is definitely 5 star plus. Terry and Alison are 2 of the nicest people could you wish to meet. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely little gem.

Absolutely nothing

Allí and Terry were excellent hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s in a quiet position with a nice garden to sit in to see the sunset over the sea. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of cereals and cooked food. Will definitely return when we visit this area again.

Couldn't ask for more brilliant hosts Terry and Allison. They will go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for the guests. Ik ben Nederlands en mijn partner Engels het is een geweldige B&B en zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven. Wij waren hier 1 1/2 week en het was perfect. The weather was cold for August but Terry put the log burner on for us so again very happy with the service given to us !!

The two en-suite rooms are in their own wing of the bungalow with a separate lounge with tv, fridge and wood burning stove. Very comfortable beds and spacious modern shower room. Each room has its own patio in a lovely garden with views of the coast. It’s very quiet despite being on a road with good access to charming towns such as Tintagel and Clovelly. Very good breakfast choices.

Terry and Alison are fabulous hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts were excellent. Locally cooked produce and homemade preserves from the many fruit trees. Each room has its own patio doors to table and chairs. The location was ideal for us wanting to be close to the sea and meeting up with family members in North Devon. Will definitely be back.

Lovely little property with an amazing garden. Spacious twin room with en-suite and use of a living room area. Nice and quiet but not too far from anywhere, good for a base to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Terry and Ali were exceptional hosts, could not do enough for you, served amazing breakfasts and were so knowledgeable about the local area!
