Good English breakfast and flexible so when we asked for something different for our daughter they happily helped. Also.. not over the top in portion size. Enough to start the day.

This is not a 5 star hotel and if thats what you expect you are not going to get it. Just good functional accommodation. I do suspect that they may need to think about adding aircon one day. I have been in a number of older hotels recently and upstairs .rooms only work in summer with the windows open (and being on the road that makes it a bit noisy until the light traffic calms down). Didnt bother me but might upset some.

So warm and welcoming with good communication. very clean room and fans provided as it was stifling hot. Great value with good breakfast included. Historic old pub in the middle of Holdsworthy with award winning flowers outside and lovely host and staff. Not far from Bude for beaches. Would definitely stay again if in the area. No blackout blinds so light coming through the curtains very early in the morning. Old pub so maybe unable to get a fixing on the window?

Really friendly & welcoming owners. Great room that had everything we needed, including comfy beds. Breakfast was yummy & a great start to the day. Fabulous location for the immediate town & getting out & about exploring. Would definitely recommend it.

Jill was kind, understanding and helpful. The location is delightful; quiet, friendly and safe fore a traveller on their own.

Booking.com. didn't check with location regarding a specific requirement but told me they had approved it. Poor service from Booking.com which would have resulted in a bad mismatch od facilities to requirements had Jill and Ashley not been so obliging.

Room was very bright, decorated nicely and was clean, shampoo soap etc in the bathroom, hair dryer, tea and coffee. Bed was extremely comfy. Great location in the centre of town and the hosts were really lovely and friendly AWESOME BREAKFAST

We stayed in the family room and there was a constant noise (maybe a fan or something) that you could hear, but it didn't stop us sleeping

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Jill. I had everything I needed in my room, and some extra little touches made the room very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay for a nice break in Devon.

The whole experience was fantastic . Very friendly staff - good accommodation - food ( Breakfast and Dinner) really good value for money. Great thank you to all the Staff - a great place to stay - would recommend it to anyone

Nothing it was excellent

Very welcoming. Particularly comfortable family room which the dog loved too. A classic English pub with wholesome food and good cider.

Not too much choice on the menu.

The staff were really friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. Jill and Ash really are very passionate about making their guests are well catered for The breakfast was very nice and plenty of it. We will definitely be coming back. So see you soon guys. Everything was great

A lovely traditional pub with rooms above in a nice quiet square. Great hosts, Jill was brilliant and made us a packed lunch as we couldnt make breakfast. Comfy beds and all very clean. Great Guinness and brilliant food.
