Saf, the owner is a fun, helpful chap. He cooks an amazing breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. Quality butcher sausages, eggs and thick tasty bacon on a large oval plate with char grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns.. You know when you get that silver platter of tost with 4 triangles.. you get 4 slices here and if you want two poached eggs. Happy to oblige.. In a great location up the hill near the old town, quirky bars and independent shops and near the big Sainsbury's so easy to get on or off the SWC path from the north.

Such a friendly, welcoming guest house. Lovely hosts who genuinely appreciated our business. We were treated like old friends, feeling totally at home within minutes of arriving. My partner enjoyed a substantial full English breakfast with more than enough to eat. Although I’m not a breakfast eater, I was invited to sit with him while he ate and I was given a pot of coffee.

We chose the ground floor room as it was a little bigger, and hoped it to be cooler. It was an unbelievably hot day/night, but due to road noise, we had to sleep with the windows closed.

Breakfast bookable on arrival was excellent.

The host, Saf, was very helpful and considerate. He even showed me where in Bude to park my car for the day free, waited for me to park and change, then drove me back to The Strand to catch my morning bus before starting the SW coast path again.

Saf was great. We were really made to feel at home. Room was perfect. It was warm but we were told if it got too hot to turn the rad down. Bedlinen very clean and comfy. 2 pillows each...perfect. Breakfast served full English. Wonderfully cooked. We will return when we need to go to Bude. Thank-you Saf and Safs wife.

No complaints except we would have love to have had a while longer if we were able to 😞

It was in an incredible location. Super close to the supermarkets and town. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was perfect just what I needed after a long days hiking. I won’t have a hot shower with good water pressure which I had. And then get into a nice bed. Which I did.

It was all pretty great to be honest. I would’ve liked there to have been shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom or some body wash. That would’ve been helpful.

Ann and Saf are brilliant hosts.The room was clean,tidy and I had been provided with every thing that I needed for a short stay. Breakfast was very good indeed and cooked as came into the dining room. Saf was thoughtful and funny. Very few guest houses avialable for Christmas day. This is a winner and I can highly recommend.

The location was perfect for us. In between our friend's house and the town centre with its interesting shops and bus stop. The room was bright and cheerful, comfortable and clean. With breakfast included it was good value for money and breakfasts were of a good standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

This is not about the B&B, but we were surprised at the lack of pedestrian crossings in the town, particularly going towards the main bus stop and around the shopping area. The traffic was busy and often fast moving and it was awkward trying to cross roads. This would be especially so for the elderly or disabled who cannot cross quickly.

I was warmly welcomed and looked after during my 5 night stay by the lovely Saf. Sea Jade is perfectly located for beaches, supermarkets and town centre. The room was clean and I had everything I needed Saf said his bacon was the best and I agree!

Great location at the top of town opposite the golf course. Our room was bright, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Saf and Ann are both wonderful hosts and really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was also great and set us up for a good start to the day. We will definitely stay again and would recommend Sea Jade to anyone looking to stay in Bude.

We would have preferred black-out curtains/blinds instead of regular blinds in the room but that's such a small thing and will not put us off staying again.

Had a lovely stay at sea jade guest house, it was everything we needed in a great location. The hosts were both so lovely and took time to have a chat with us. The bed was so comfy too, we had the best sleep! Couldn’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back next year
